Haven't been here in a long time. I remember this cafe was quite crowded 5-6 years ago. And now it's still crowded after all this time 😂 but luckily their food is still awesome. And the place looks brand new and renovated. I ordered the beef carbonara and the cheeseburger. Both are delicious in their own right. The chocolate cake was moist and freshly baked. The ambience is still nice. Even better I think. Parking can be a challenge but you just have try your best to find a space nearby. I hope to come again soon and try their other food menu. Great place to eat, no doubt. 👍

Main courses taste good, I ordered beef lasagna and friends ordered alio olio, smells good too. Pasta portion considered big for me. Sweetness of cakes slightly over (for me), but surprisingly pancake is amazing. Staff are friendly and very responsive here, good service, kudos. Also the interior design is very well themed and overall ambience is lovely. Recommended this hidden gem

Been coming to this place since 2015. Packed as usual. My comfort pasta place. Tried almost all pasta menu here. Ambiance wise, so nice. Toilet is clean too. But parking is a hassle I tell you. That’s the only problem here.

I was there for brunch and the place is already almost full when I arrived at 12.15pm. Parking is a bit of a hassle as the area is small and tight. Many cars are double-parked. But I was fortunate to get a parking bay as another car moved out. The Upstairs cafe is a small, yet cozy and welcoming. All orders are taken at the counter and paid. The only types of payment accepted are cash and Maybank online. This is a bit inconvenient to the customers. The three of us preferred the outside seating area and is cozy and comfortable, eventhough is was hot outside. Food is tasty and the portion is just right and we felt full as we cleared the plates. I ordered the Beef Lasagna @RM21.90 and it has the spinach sauce based. It tastes great. My son had the Eggs Benny [email protected]. It looks great and taste even better. My daughter, on the other hand, had the Cheese steak sandwich @RM19.90 and is topped with a sunny side egg. This looks great, too and taste just as good. Our drinks are Ice latte and a hot cappucino for me. It was a great experience and I would definitely make a trip back here for some more good, wholesome food.

For my girlfriends out there, taking your boyfriend or friends out, this will be your favourite budget friendly place! I know people rave about their pastries 🍰 here but imma rave about the food, pasta is a 100/10, I got a pesto for less than RM 20 that's like BANGER, LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING, go there and try the food yourself!!!

I strongly recommend Risotto. So yummy! Preparation was fast. Love the relaxing atmosphere, music and simple deco. Can't wait to drop by again next time to try another menu!

Love this place, super chill. Not too crowded. So suitable for date or quiet meeting. I had coffee and cakes because was full from lunch downstaits. Coffee is good and the cakes too. Love the lemon cake and their cheesecake is good too. Not too sweet

Came here for dinner on Saturday night. Overall experience is just average. Plus point: - good vibe - nice deco and ambience - fast service - reasonable price (cheapest pasta in subang jaya i guess) Negative point: - not a kids friendly cafe. They dont have kids menu. Even the kids cutlery also they dont have. When we asked for extra plate, they provided us with small plate, the one used to serve cake (we were like, whattt?) - they dont serve plain water. We have to buy mineral water cost RM2.50 - my husband ordered iced americano and the taste is weird - pasta is just average and a bit underwhelming - parking is horrible! Took us 20mins to get parking slot here Anyway, our Overall rating 3.5/5 Will I come again? Probably yes, with my friend. But not with my family.

Sure the food is good, but what makes this cafe special is the team of nice staffs.

Food tastes pretty decent and the cafe ambience is great as well. Would’ve come back a couple times more if they’d provide a bigger portion that can actually fill up your stomach. If you’re mainly here for productivity, do note that there it can get quite noisy too. Overall it’s a place you must try at least once!

been here since 2015. they are famous with their red velvet cake. but i was surprise they still sell their cakes with very affordable price. i think the most cheapest in subang cafe so far? anyhow average coffee taste. they said they used columbian beans. so it was quite light for ice latte even with double shot. maybe can go for hot ones if you prefer stronger taste. and also average pasta too for my opinion. i would prefer it more creamier for carbonara. but if you wanna go with dessert, do come here. you can get a slice of cake with under RM10! all cakes tastes so good. the staffs also friendly and helpful. cafe operation starts at 12 PM.

This is a quaint little cafe located upstairs on the first floor of an old shop lot. Despite the ordinary and slightly outdated decor, the cafe had a calming ambiance that made it the perfect spot to unwind and relax. The highlight of my visit was the delicious bakery that the cafe served. The bakery items were absolutely delightful. The bakery section had an impressive range of options, and I found myself spoilt for choice. Each pastry was a delicious treat that I savored with every bite. Overall, while the decor of the cafe may be ordinary and old-fashioned, the delicious bakery and coffee more than made up for it. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a calming spot to enjoy some quality coffee and pastries.

Nice cosy place located above another popular restaurant. Need to queue up because the place is rather small and crowded. Service is friendly, prices are reasonable. Love the ambiance here. We tried the Mint Brownie & Biscoff Cheese Cake, they both are taste pretty good. Portion is rather small than other places since the price is cheaper price. Just nice to pair with the Hot Latte. Good to tried their pastas, (Brunch items) Burgers & Sandwiches as well.

Cosy neighborhood cafe with retro vibes. The Eggs Benny was delicious, so was the cheeseburger, although the beef patty was not juicy enough. My piccolo coffee was perfection and the Victoria sponge cake flavor was well balanced, with cream and berries in the middle. A good place for brunch, prices are reasonable as well.

Went here last night with my friends. Quite packed between 8.00 to 9.00pm. So it is better to plan before you come especially with group of friends. After 9.30 it was less crowded. Enjoyed the soft shell crab and it tasted really nice. Bill for 3 person (3 meal,3 drinks) is around RM65 which consider good with the food. My sister is big fan of the cafe and recommend cakes here. I would definitely go next time for the chicken pie and carrot cake. Enjoyed the ambience and settings and friendly staff as well. 🥳🥳 p/s: might not be comfortable if you go with your introvert parents or friends 😅😅

It's our 'usual' for all these years. Most eateries will compromise on their standard of food and service but we're glad to know that Upstairs has always been consistent with their great service and passion in their food. ESPECIALLY THEIR CAKES. So gooood. Their biggest win is the affordable prices despite the weakeni ringgit and global inflation. You can still come here and have a good time without burning a huge a hole in your wallet. P.S. to the management, probably want to just train your new guys to smile a little more when customers walk in. The usual guys are the best. Always smiling, always assuring you're gonna have a good time here. Any complaints and they're more than glad to compensate your experience. 👍🏻

For me this is really great place to hangout, with nice vibe and chill environment with sufficient lighting. The staffs are really proffesional and good attitude. The foods are quite good, the cheeseburger was not bad, but the patty was a bit crumbly. The cake was really good though. Located at end of the shop lot along the road Subang Jaya Medical Centre, the cafe is upstair, need to take the stairs.

First round: Good fragrant cafe latte, great environment, it's amongst the more affordable cafe range in Subang area. EDIT: Went back another 2 times, latte wasn't as good. One time over roasted and bitter; second time milk warmed up. But it still has really great food and definitely worth a visit :) Crowded on weekends/public holidays.

Really enjoy the food. The toast is very good, the beef is very flavorful, altho alil chewy. The coffee is very good, abit acidic but still enjoyable. Tapau risotta and i like that the best. Creamy, savory, pack with flavor and perfectly seasoned. Definitely a must try Recommended

Cozy place but limited table ya, make sure nk dtg kn plan time. Makanan semua sedap. Yg suka creamy & cheese must try carbonara & mushrooms soups and affordable.

My 1st time coming to this Western Food Cafe. Although I'm actually not a western food lover but I really interested with the beautiful and relaxing environment. For those Western Food lovers should try and come to eat here because they also serve a delicious desserts as well which is highly recommended.

Good food can be found here. Service is excellent as well as friendly staff. Would recommend their coffee, sandwiches and cakes. Nice place to chill around while doing work or just hanging around. Has a good outdoor balcony where you can have some nice views. Air-conditioned and very cozy. Had the cheesesteak sandwich which I quite enjoyed. Worth a visit.

Tried the beef lasagne and creamy salmon pasta here. Food was delicious and portion was surprisingly large. The pesto sauce was a perfect balance with the beef lasagne and offset the creamy taste. Very small cosy cafe that gets really busy during mealtimes.

A little cafe right on the upstairs of the shop lot, as its name suggests literally. A nice place with simple Western food, coffee, drinks, etc. It is popular with patrons even on evening of weekdays. The design is soothingly simple. Good retro calming music. It's a good place to meet up and chit chat while enjoying a meal or a cup 9f coffee.

The environment here is comfy, food is nice. Most important thing is the food is nice, mac & cheese is good but if can have more cheesy taste then it will be best, same as cabonara too... Used to come here often those were the days. After not coming here like a year plus I noticed the blueberry cheesecake is different the size remains the same but the height of the cake used to be taller. Once I used the fork onto the cake I knew it’s different, no longer nice like those days. Perhaps they used a different brand cream cheese. Crème brûlée remains the same taste though.

First time coming here as recommended by friend, and easily becomes my fav place for cakes! Their cakes so delicious and cheap especially the burnt cheesecake, hands-down the best and cheapest I've ever tried. Staffs were friendly, great ambience, fast-service. No bad thing found, highly recommended.

Simplified food menu, but couple of items that I wanted to try was not available... not a good sign for start. Ordered vegetarian aglio olio and their big breakfast. Portions was a tad small for me and wifey. Didn't felt full and satisfied. Went to tabau snacks on the way home sigh. The pasta was quite good honestly. The big breakfast on the other hand, well wasn't big by all means. It had all the typicals, but mushrooms was mere few pieces of really tiny cuts, really stingy on this department. Sausage and hash browns were store bought typical. The star of the dish was scrambled eggs, really fluffy and cooked perfectly, this saved the rating by a point. Conclusion, we didn't felt satisfied with what we paid for vs quantity and quality. will we return? unlikely.

I gave this place lower rating the last time because they were stubborn by not adopting non-cash payment. Guess it took Covid for them to change. Loved this place. Menu is not alot, but its delicious and portion is great. Be prepared to wait since it's popular but the place is small.

Great place for pasta lover! Very comfy place. Best to hang out with friends or casual date. Can both dine in or take away. Bad parking spots. Staff are friendly. You can ask for recommendations. The creme brulee is said the best over here. The risotto also. However I ordered pasta. Aglio Olio is the best! However the smoked salmon pasta is disappointing. You try avoid that. The place need to climb stairs. Not PWD friendly. So if you are wheel-chaired or with tongkat, it will be difficulty. Have many seatings. The interior design is charming. Thank you, enjoy.

Was 5pm and there were only 9 customers but the staff weren’t bothered to engage or make eye contact to direct us to the menu (above the counter) which you had to crank your neck to read 4. No serviettes given 5. Plastic straws were still used Cheesesteak sandwich was decent though. Price to portion ratio is borderline high.

The cafe has a great ambient. The staff were friendly. And of course the coffee & the foods so tasty! This place is one of the best places to chill and relax!

Small and cosy cafe. Pluck points are available at some tables so it is really nice to do some work there while enjoying some of their pastries/cakes and beverages. Prices are not expensive so dont expect a super high quality of food and beverages. But it was a good experience and will surely visit again.

Nice ambience. Tried quiche and scones, coffee. Food is good. Gets more crowded towards late morning. Parking is abit tricky but if you don’t mind to park further down then it shouldn’t be a problem.

I love the place and food are good too especially the chocolate cheese cake. But they could improve by choosing a different kind of chair and table. It was slightly uncomfortable to sit especially for tall people. I felt the table was quite low for me. Otherwise, everything was great about this place.
