Do not stay here. And let me explain why. I booked this because the pool looked fantastic and because of the price. What is not shown is the fact that the rooms are inside the pool room. There is a reason why this isn't done. Upon entering my room it was damp. Like floor wet damp. I was exhausted so I crashed but when I woke up my shoes were wet, the toilet paper was wet. The humidity of the pool saturated the room. I left to go hiking and wanted to take a shower when I came back. That was my first mistake. A grown adult could barely fit in that room. I had to shimmy around just to close the door that wouldn't close. The soap they give you is about the size of a quarter and the shower head is so short. How short you ask? Well I'm a 5'6 female and I had to bend to shower. If you are any taller than that please be prepared to kneel to shower. The room had a desk chair with pieces missing, there was crayon all over the door and stickers that covered the nightstand. There was 1 working outlet and the key card stopped working multiple times a day. The spare pillow had stains on it. I was honestly disgusted that I found food remains that werent mine. The lack of maintenance and upkeep to this hotel was not worth it. Honestly stay anywhere else.

Do not stay here. Bugs, unclean rooms, uncomfortable and dirty. Roaches, mold, blood, you name it. Fake reviews with pictures of the lobby to prop up the score. Don't bother committing. Apologizing and making zero actions is useless. If they actually cared, the rooms would be cleaned and cared for before you arrived.

Non-smoking room but was not, stale smoke smell. Soiled couch, only cold water from sink, found electrical wires hanging out of gapping hole behind the bed as we were trying to plug in a non-working lamp, TV did not work. Pros were that the check in service was very pleasant and the bed was clean and comfortable. Needs quite a bit of improvements before I consider again. Not worth the price.

The hotel looks sketchy from the outside. The lobby smells weird so i had a feeling the room would be just as bad. Service is not great. Got to the room and didn't want to touch anything. Stains on the sheets. Wrinkled sheets too so I'm pretty sure they didn't change them. Toiletries are half empty so those weren't replaced. Wiped off the toilet seat and it was absolutely not cleaned so I cleaned it myself with one of the stained wash clothes they decided to leave for me. Everything looks and feels dirty. Coffee maker with no cups and I'm sure terrible coffee. Checked for bed bugs and didn't see any...yet. My card was charged more than I signed for so that will be addressed in the morning. I'm hoping it's just a small deposit that i will get back but I'm not overly optimistic. Definitely feel like I'm going to get a disease in this room. Eagerly waiting for check out time! Do not recommend wasting your money here. Drive a little further down the road for a better hotel.

Just swinging through & needed a place to sleep. Attempted to call & request information but the front desk was busy & we were on hold for a while. Decided to just book online & take our chances as it was the cheapest option around in a good location. Check in was smooth. Room was average with all the necessities - bed was clean, bathroom was clean, TV worked, etc. breakfast was average with granola bars, fruit, yogurt & waffles. Overall, decent stay for a quick overnight.

The reason I rated so low was because the "indoor" pool was in a large unheated room. My kids could not swim as the room was so cold. This was most of the reason I picked this hotel. Very disappointing. Also, the second floor is not handicap accessible. There is a ramp from the ground level to the second floor, but to get to it, you need to go down three steps. Despite all of this, the breakfast is fantastic!! Really nice guy serves, he wears a super cute chef hat. All of the staff was super personable and very kind. They all did a great job!!

Great Value! If youre traveling in the area and are in need of a clean room, do not pass this up. The room I stayed in was on par with other Baymont properties I have stayed at. The room was clean and odor free with a new Air Unit. This product is a fantastic value at its price point. Parking is plentiful and has room for RVs, Box trucks, pickups with trailers in the rear of the property.

Gross! Rooms smelled really bad. Personally watched them use sheets my son peed on (still potty training) to remake the bed. They were "cleaning" when I went to check if I left something. Floors nasty, fridge nasty and had to be fixed. Found 2 small drug bags... Was not touching those! Beds rock hard! Had to swap rooms within an hour because neither bathroom or main door would close without a hard shove. The staff were very rude... Very! The only 2 good things. Maintenance Man was very helpful and polite! His name is Percy. And the pool was good. Oh and "hot breakfast's is waffles. Nothing else except great value pastries, cereal and yogurt.

The room wasn't great. You get what you pay for. We got an outside room but the curtains didn't close all the way so it was very bright during the night and zero privacy during the day. The bathroom door didn't close, and there was no ventilation so the smells stayed. The toilet was kid size. The tub curtain rod was falling apart. The bed itself was comfortable. Will not come back

I stayed at the Baymont in West Knox last weekend and had a good experience, so I booked a Baymont again this weekend. The two hotels couldn't be more different. The first room I was in smelled faintly like urine, the door to the bathroom only opened a foot before jamming against the floor, the floor wasn't mopped and had splatter stains, and the toilet wasn't bolted down. I was moved to another room. The second room was considerably cleaner and nicer, but neither the main door nor the door to the adjoining room locked. When I went down to the lobby a second time, they remedied the main door by changing the batteries and managed to deadbolt the door to the adjacent room. This is a good thing, because later that night into the morning, I could hear the person in the adjoining room repeatedly trying the door. Breakfast in the morning was abysmal. Toast, muffins, or thin pancake mix. I took the last butter in the ceramic container and the container clearly hadn't been cleaned in some time. There was crud in the bottom. Two stars because the service was a redeeming factor. The staff here is great.

We needed a quick place to stay on our way home from Florida. The woman at the service desk was absolutely accomodating and lovely. The room was absolutely disgusting. It smelled like weed upon entering so my kids and I had to leave the door open for a few hours to air it out. We notified the front desk. The carpet left our barefeet almost black after walking around on it for 30 minutes, so we made a towel path throughout the room to step on. The bathroom smelled disgusting, the refrigerator had spills in it that were never cleaned. Who knows how long they've been there, the liquid looked solid. One bed had dirty sheets. My 8 yr daughter was afraid to sleep in the bed after that. Is this why this place is non refundable? Too many people would walk out in pure disgust? Worst hotel i have ever stayed in for cleanliness. I find the tip envelope for housekeeping very ironic. I can't wait to get out of here in the morning.

Pros-0 Cons-everything Explained that we needed a room that was wheelchair accessible, had adequate room temperature, working refrigerator and enough room for our daughter's machines. Was told yes we are good. Got there it was filthy, no air, broken refrigerator and would not in no way fit a wheelchair or equipment. No elevator to the second floor where the breakfast bar is!!! Let after 10 minutes and went to another motel who gladly had accommodations.

We stayed for a night! The staff was all very sweet especially the lady running the breakfast! I didn't catch her name but she was absolutely the sweetest and played with our little girl! The breakfast wasn't 5 star no,but they had a waffle marker, cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc. Which satisfied my husband and I! Plus it's free!!! The only bad review I have is kinda the little small conditions of the room! The bathroom door barely closed and our fridge didn't really work. Other than that I'd definitely give the hotel a 6/10!

I have mostly positive things to say about this place. The rooms were very nice and clean, comfortable beds and pillows. Refrigerator microwave and clean bathroom. Friendly customer service at the front desk. Decent pool. The only negative was that the room service person was very rude. I don't know if there was a miscommunication with the front desk but we had asked for a half hour extension which was approved for checkout. The room service person then barged our door open at 11:00 a.m. and said 11:00 a.m. check out! In a very rude manner. When I tried to explain that we had a half hour extension he raised his voice and said 11:00 a.m. check out! Again. While this wasn't the end of the world, I thought he could have been a lot nicer about it especially since we were approved for an extension. Other than that it was a very nice stay.

If you want a CLEAN place to stay this is NOT it. The pull out couch was absolutely disgusting with blood and god knows what else. Our crawling infant found a pair of dirty underwear under a table. Cockroaches under the couch, holes in ceiling. Definitely not worth the money

So I wasn't going to leave a review i was just going to talk to management without the qorld knowing. But sending an email to the hotel with a joke of a reply of they are looking into it has lead me to let everulyone know. My family and I stayed here memorial day weekend. Our room should of been ready by 3, we get there at about 5 and room wasn't ready. We had dinner reservations at 630 we needed to get ready for. Finally got our room and get ready, we had a king suite so 2 entry points. We got to leave for dinner and one of the doors won't lock. Thought not a huge deal will just lock the dead bolt go out the other side, this door did not have a safety lock at the top so couldn't use it. Well decide to just make sure it locked with the dead bolt, however it didnt lock the door opens by just turning the handle(no key needed). The floor was sticky, there was hair left in the shower, it was a non smoking room but it smelled like stale smoke, which in turn made all of our belongings smell like stale smoke. Save your money and time, don't stay here. And don't bother trying to talk to anyone higher up you will just get a joke of a reply as they "look into it". Not only was it a safely issue, it wasn't clean. What if we were sleeping, not knowing the door wouldn't lock and someone came in. To top it off they moved us to the next room over and still put someone on that room after us

The rooms were disgusting. We had a huge whole punches through the bathroom door. It reeled if smoke in there and was just gross in general. The bathroom door was taller than the port thing it sticks into to close so the bathroom door wouldn't close. The shower head was perfectly my height at 5" 3 but for my mom.. not so much. The whole courtyard idea was really weird. Where the pool was it kinda looked like a prison and we thought that maybe they add a whole rooftop over the courtyard to make it indoors. It was a weird place in general

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Baymont Inn and let me just say, it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! This hotel truly deserves a 5-star rating for its exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding amenities. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests truly set Baymont Inn apart. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep every night of my stay. The attention to detail in the room design and amenities was truly impressive, and it made my stay all the more enjoyable. One aspect that really stood out to me was the exceptional level of cleanliness throughout the hotel. It was evident that the staff took great pride in maintaining a spotless environment, and this attention to cleanliness was very reassuring, especially during these times. The hotel's amenities were top-notch. The fitness center was well-equipped with modern machines and offered a great space for a workout. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. I also appreciated the high-speed internet access, which was essential for both work and leisure during my stay. Location-wise, the Baymont Inn was conveniently situated near local attractions and dining options. It was easy to get around and explore the area, thanks to the hotel's convenient location and the helpful recommendations provided by the knowledgeable staff. Lastly, I must commend the entire staff at Baymont Inn for their exceptional customer service. They were always available to answer any questions, provide recommendations, and ensure that my stay was as enjoyable as possible. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality truly exceeded my expectations. In conclusion, my stay at Baymont Inn was an outstanding experience that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a comfortable, welcoming, and 5-star hotel experience. From the attentive staff to the well-appointed rooms and fantastic amenities, this hotel truly deserves every bit of its stellar rating. I will certainly be returning on my next visit to the area.

The worst motel I have ever stayed. The first night I called and let them know there was a stain on the sheet and they told me to come get sheets from the front desk I had to explain that was there job I had just checked in the sheets should be clean. Next day housekeeping never cleaned my room after I explained I need the room clean front office person had a nasty attitude and said all I can do is come get towels I will never never never stay at this shack again also the shower is barely staying together. Run do not waste your money at this dump.I canโ€™t upload the pitcures but I took some of this dump. You generic apology is joke you knew about the issues and did nothing to fix it

Donโ€™t waste your money- go ANYWHERE else! Room was disgusting with nasty stains on sheets and pillowcases, black curly hairs all in bed and in tub, bathroom ceiling moldy and collapsing from water damage. Indoor pool is barely heated and they do not heat the room/building so itโ€™s the same freezing temp by the pool as it is outside. Disclosed all this to guy at front desk and all he said was โ€œthank you for telling meโ€. Didnโ€™t try to fix it or make it right, so poor service as well

We pulled in about midnight just to have a nice clean place to stay. First room looked like beds had been slept in already and the smell of pot was horrible. Went to front desk and got another room it was clean but smelled not as bad as the first one. Bed was uncomfortable and I woke up with a stuffed up nose do to the linger of smoke. I would honestly say we picked here because we like to stay with Wyndham but never will here again.

This is my second time here. I was not as impressed. The room was reasonably clean, the bed comfortable, plenty of towels, etc. However, two of the lamps were broken, as was the mini coffee maker. I was given a room by the stairs, and it was noisy most of the night with the comings and goings of other guests staying there. The heater/air-conditioner did work but it rattled when it ran, as if it was about to fail. It didn't though. Not sure if I'll be back. I will also request not to be put by the stairs-at ANY motel. Lesson learned!

Kinda dupped by the pics. It says it's an indoor pool but it's actually outside under a cover. Also pool is not heated as advertised. Now, the room was below average. Smelled heavily of smoke even though they're non smoking rooms. Did see one roach. And didn't see any, but there was possible evidence of bed bugs. Coffee maker in room was missing the filter drawer to put the coffee. So no coffee. And lastly, curtains had mold on them. On a positive note, breakfast was average. Lots of grab and go packaged snacks. Also cereal, yogurt, and waffles. Will not stay here again. Also got shafted on price but that was from the app I rented from. That's a different review.

Hotel looks nice on the outside but very out dated on the inside. Lobby had a terrible smell. Our room was very dirty. You could visibly tell the cleaning staff just took the trash out but did not actually clean anything. When I walked in to the room I went to the bathroom and instantly saw hair from the people that stayed here before us. There was a huge yellow ring around the back of the toilet on the floor. It appears to be urine that has been there for a very very long time. Carpet was as clean as the towels and they were not very clean at all. Sheets and comforter had yellow stains that you could tell has been there a very long time. The mattress protector had stains on both of the queen beds. Would not recommend!!

The staff was very unprofessional. Very rude and definitely not cut out to what they said it would be. The room was horrible. Stains on the sheets, blankets, etc. Fecal matter in the toilet that they never cleaned. Shower had hair all in it. The room in general was just absolutely gross. It's absolutely not worth the price. The pool was cold, stated it was heated in the description. The front desk person tried to play it off this morning like we didn't have to put a 160$ deposit down. We had to argue with them to give us our deposit back. I've worked in the hotel business for years. I could not imagine my hotel treating the guests like that nor putting them in disgusting rooms. I would NOT recommend this place at all!

I drive from Florida and Michigan. This is the midpoint stop. The hotel is a good place to rest. My room seem to be clean until I found someone's dirty socks in the corner. It was a little late as I didn't notice til later into my stay. It did make me think did they actually clean? Did housekeeping change my sheets? Etc.

This is the second time we booked Wyndham hotel. We had the worst experience . Booked for a non-smoking room but people are smoking right outside the door . The room is less than average with a coffee machine uncleaned damaged flooring.. we stayed for only one night so we can manage.. Never recommend Wyndham group in future. But outside view is good..

Only compliment I have is the night clerk was very friendly and we had a nice conversation. The room was small even though it was a king size bed king size bed. There was not a chair to sit in so if you wanted to sit down you had to sit on the bed. Bathroom is claustrophobically small more like a closet with a toilet and a 1/2 size bathtub bathtub I don't even think a child could lay down in it . The breakfast space is woefully it's woefully dismal and small compared to the number of rooms in the hotel tell. It was absolutely packed. There was food slopped everywhere on the floor on the counter and on empty tables Action of food was also poor yogurt warm bottles of water disgusting coffee juice boxes and waffles

  • 4/5 Brandon T. 2 years ago on Google
The room was pleasant outside of the cigarette smoke smell, The room was nice and clean, outside of the previous tenants pink crack lighter remaining on the floor. The stay was comfortable, I didnโ€™t use the chair anyway so the hole in the upholstery was of no concern. Price was acceptable and accurate for the stay. All in all, I think other families could also stay here without threat of random homicide.

The front desk staff seemed utterly disinterested in assisting guests and were borderline disrespectful in their interactions. They were unhelpful, dismissive of my questions, and displayed a complete lack of courtesy. It felt like I was inconveniencing them by simply asking for basic information. Throughout my stay, the staff's attitude remained consistently unpleasant, making me regret my decision to stay at this hotel. Rude staff can ruin even the most beautiful accommodations, and in this case, it certainly did. I would strongly advise against staying at Baymont Inn and Suites in Knoxville if you value respectful and friendly service during your travels.

A decent place for a quick nightโ€™s sleep right on I-75 going to Florida. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate, what you should expect for the price. Check in and out was easy. Breakfast attendant was especially helpful and friendly. Would stay there again.
