The hospitality is amazing! our first stay, we stayed there for a friend` s wedding, the staff is very friendly and helpful and you get a “home feeling” . We needed a shuttle service to the wedding and it was arranged, very accommodating. This little cozy place is so central to all the shops etc. Will definitely come again, also for the night crawlers there is a salon/bar 10 steps away if you feel like a night cap. The waterfront also have amaxing services and food.

I am plesently impressed with the rooms but rather stay away from the main road rooms rooms 10 .11 and 12 are facing the back side if u want quite rooms Wifi very good and bathrooms are neat but I still prefer a bar of soap than liquid soap. breakfast are the usual and no complaint. overall a thumbs up. give it a 7.5 out of 10

We were treated like royalty from arrival up to our departure. It took me down memory lane, reminding me of elegant hotel accommodation in ny youth. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The beds comfortable and we slept like babies. Breakfast was exceptional. It was prepared according to our personal preferences. The service was friendly and professional. We will definitely be visiting this establishment again.

My room was spotless, The bed was comfortable, and the water pressure in shower was amazing.

The Knysna Wayside Inn was a charming and comfortable accommodation that exceeded my expectations. The rooms were tastefully decorated, with a mix of modern and vintage elements that added to the overall character of the inn. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. However, the shower did have an issue with high water pressure, which made it a bit uncomfortable to use. Additionally, the bathroom counter was a bit loose, so I had to be careful not to lean on it too heavily as it could easily break. The location of the Knysna Wayside Inn was convenient, as it was close to shopping areas and restaurants. However, the shopping areas were not as well-maintained as I would have liked, and I didn't feel entirely safe walking around in them. Despite this, the inn itself was located in a relatively safe and peaceful area, which was a nice respite from the busier parts of town. The customer service at the Knysna Wayside Inn was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was always someone available at the front desk to assist with any questions or concerns I had. I appreciated that there was an actual person available to talk to, rather than just an automated system. The inn also had all the amenities I needed, including reliable internet access. The price of the accommodation was reasonable, especially considering the location and amenities offered. Overall, my experience at the Knysna Wayside Inn was positive, and I would definitely consider staying there again in the future.

Nice little BnB , pleasant breakfast . Not huge but sufficient.. Would not let us check in early . After an 8 hr drive we got to the hotel at 4am and slept in the parking lot . At about 7am we asked the concierge to plz let us check ìn earlier explaining that we were now almost 12 hrs with 2 smaller kids who needed the toilet as well , in a car but he refused . Had to walk around the town until check in at 1pm . Whilst we understand that rules are rules , sometimes life does happen . We were even prepared to pay for an additional day however he said check out for other guests was 11am and he won't be able to accommodate us . Thank God the Woolworths in Knysna mall was open at 7am so we could get something to eat at least

Amazing! Simply amazing! Service was outstanding, atmosphere too. Interior design - "must see"!

A few points which make this hotel (motel) ordinary. First up... there's no hot water and WiFi during load shedding, which 1st lasted 2hrs then 4hrs. 2ndly you sit outside in icy cold weather to have your breakfast. The host, Melissa, however, makes up for all the negativity with her warm hospitality. Room was comfortable though. She went as far as to make their braai (BBQ) utensils available for the guides and drivers to enjoy a really tasty braai.
