What a spot. It's rare to have the best view, best sunset, and best food all under one roof. The chef did an amazing job with everything I tried and staff was friendly and welcoming. Make sure to stop by and book a seat as it gets quite full just before sunset time. Everything was 5* highly recommend.

The server was extremely rude to us. Me and my girlfriend went here for drinks and when I ordered 2 beers, the server asked my girlfriend in Thai saying "Why not order food? Is it too expensive for you guys?". This is the first time we faced behavior like this at any establishment. I really hope that this behavior did not come from some kind of racial bias towards us (I'm brown and my girlfriend is thai, and from what I've seen at the restaurant most of their patrons were western tourists). I hope management takes notice and takes proper actions. There are certainly good things about this restaurant, the view and the decor was excellent. The owners seemed like really nice and friendly people and I'm sure the food is probably good there. However, due to the terrible behavior by the server, we were not in the mood enjoy any of it.

After touring around the island for most of the day, found this place after exiting the big Buddha immediately on the right, lovely ambience and atmosphere, european food is very limited but Thai food is well catered for,. the European owner is a very proud owner and keeps the place running sweetly, and it’s impeccably clean, beautiful location right on the beach with views of the bay and surrounding area, we had a really nice meal and beers thoroughly enjoyed by both of us,.the place has been refurbished compared to pics on here, this place not to be missed for a sunset meal or drinks,.

When I came inside it is totally different mood compared to outside looking. Interior is not come with useless stuffs every single touch are incredible who likes Asian Zen, Bali, all mixing mood. Foods are nice, needless to say view is amazing!!!! Staffs are friendly, specially full of positive energy ‘Linda’(owner) will be there for welcoming you. I wish visit there again.

I was only here today for 1 beer. But the location is very good, as is the service and atmosphere here. So I came again in the evening for cocktails and immediately ordered my favorite cocktail ( a custom creation of mojito and banana ) They executed it perfectly and it was great. I will 100% be back ❤️

We arrived at 6:30pm on a Monday evening, and there were ample tables available (sunset was at 6:45p). The fish and chips was good, with most, flaky fish fillet inside a crispy shell (it even came with the tail as well😄). Or sea-facing table overlooks a small beach, and it's perfect for watching the sunset if weather permits. They only accept cash or electronic transfer, so get ready dinner cash if you're a tourist like me. Our dinner for 2 came up to THB1230.

We visited The Sunset for a late afternoon drink after a day visiting the temples. It looked amazing from outside, overlooking the beach, we knew we'd have to come enjoy that view. We stayed just for the one drink, a good selection of cocktails on offer. It was a lovely bar inside, modern, rustic interior and perfect uninterrupted views. We sat and watched the seas go by over a round of cocktails.....I could have easily stayed for longer if we had the time. Lovely place, nice staff and considerately designed interior.

Amazing sunset views and right next to big Buddha. I had the wings which were amazing. Only thing missing was a date 😉

This is the best place in the area! You can see the sunset and enjoy very nice food and cocktails. They also have proper straws made out of glass! The portions are big, food tasty and fresh and the cocktails great! Sadly we discovered this in our last day here but will definitely revisit when we have the opportunity! Also, the music they had was like Val'carretero and Dario Caminita & Da.Ma.Project. Lovely! All the best!

Such a relaxed little spot right on the water. The food is delicious, the drinks are fun and the vibe is right…. Oh and what a view!!! I could have sat there for hours taking it all in. We came here on a Sunday at around 530pm in late July 2023 and had no trouble getting a seat. The staff let us sit wherever we wanted. They were all smiles and gave us the menu. The music was a chill restaurant jazz that really fit the mood. The prices are very slightly higher than average for Koh Samui however this is no average Koh Samui restaurant. All in all I would highly recommend a visit here if you’re in town - you’ll enjoy it.

Honestly.. probably the best food in koh samui. We have been in all spots in fishermans village and our group all agree its the best quality and value for money on the strip. We've returned because we couldnt wait to get back to eat

Not the best day to be here as it was raining but the vibe, food and location is awesome. Like everywhere in Samui, the staff here is very warm and welcoming. You can access the beach too. Definitely recommend!!

We visited the temple and spotted this place from the road because of the unique looks from anothers. Food also good for both Thai and European. It has a good atmosphere to hang out while enjoying a view and food.

Watched the sun set on the horizon whilst we drank cocktails and ate delicious food. Highly rated.

As the title of this restaurant says, it’s the best place on this side of the island to watch the sunset. This place is also perfectly situated next to the giant Buddha. The owners are French and the food is fantastic. The drinks are good and very cold. Great selection of wines. They do not take credit cards! They only take cash or Thai pay by QR code.

The place is amazing for sunset watching as the place name suggests. Drinks where good, dark chocolate was so so.

Josée and I are new arrivals on Samui and finding Angelin’s wonderful restaurant and bar was a highlight for us. Just down the hill and a fantastic cool place with incredible drinks and service with a huge smile. Her menu is incredible just our type. We are coming back

Beautiful place next to wat plai laem, very friendly staff and owner, the owner’s gorgeous dogs walking around and the smoothies and juices are delicious.

Found by accident, asking for directions. The owner was very friendly and helped. We chatted a bit and came by later to have a drink and a snack. Chicken satay was delicious and the drinks refreshing. The view is amazing! A place to come back to again and again...

Always a great place for a long island iced tea or 7 and a great sunset experience.. If you ask, the even do it properly with a big glass, lots of (diet?) coke and no added sugar syrup, just the way it should be..

Fantastic French influenced food right on the beach. My recommendation is the Cold Roastbeef with War Potatoes...also the farmers salad with crisp bacon and perfectly cooked onsen eggs.
