A good beach, I like it, but my husband does not, because it is shallow. To get to the depth, you have to go a long way. But those with children are very good. There are always free sun loungers of resorts or cafes. Where can I sit and order drinks from them. Or you can sit on your own towels, as you like. The sand is fine and soft. The water is clear, you can see the fish

The longest and most popular beach in Koh Samui. The north part has the most clubs and bars, while the middle part is a mixed bag (lots of water activities, like jet ski and surfing), and the south is quieter. The sea can get quite choppy. Unfortunately, like all beaches in Koh Samui, this one also gets rather dirty. Most (open) establishments, however, try to keep it clean with mixed success. There are literally no garbage bins available anywhere. Lots of beach vendors will try to sell you their wares, which varies from necklace, through blankets to drugs (MD&A, coke, everything).

Busy, fun beach…great for people watching, playing in the waves or catching some sun. Our group of six was lucky enough to get padded lounge chairs in the shade, front row of the beach. We also enjoyed massages and cold beers. Family friendly beach. Four legged friends welcome too! Perfect for beach walks. Good scooter parking.

Chaweng Beach is too close to central Sumai. There are lot of resorts and hotel here, so that's why lot of hustle and bustle here in this Beach. This Beach is perfect for walk, swimming and to have some Vitamin D from the Sun. You can enjoy scenes from the mountain and Beach at one place.

Nice beach with white sand. On windy days, could be wavy. Otherwise, calm and peaceful. Great for family with kids.

The nicest beach with the whitest sand on Koh Samui. Chaweng is also nightlife central with bars and restaurants catering to every taste. From beachside institutions to sophisticated cocktail bars, Chaweng's nightlife is streets ahead of anywhere else on Samui in terms of choice. The famous Green Mango strip still forms the axis around which the rest of the town's bars revolve and is packed with (mostly) young revellers every night, alternating between the pubs, dance bars and girly bars. Chaweng's main strip is nearly three kilometres long though, and lots of smaller centres of activity have sprung up along it.

a wonderful beach lots of places to eat and drink, you can play volleyball and swim. I like that the water is clean here compared to other beaches (especially in the north part of the island) during covid it was pretty chill but now it's packed, and you can Russians screaming everywhere.

That's a piece of heaven on Earth. It's simply and awesomely beautiful! The sunrise and the sunsets will last forever in my memory. A lazy walk through the calm water (the water is like mirror- so clear) or spending the late afternoon kayaking, or just sit with a beer when it really gets hot. I went in summer, and the entire of Samui was empty once the sun was in the mid sky. But that was the best part of it. There are a few small restaurants on the beach, perfect places for a beer or early morning tea. No matter how much I write, you HAVE to be THERE to see it for yourself. And perhaps a off season trip is better as you certainly will have the entire beach practically to yourself.

Nice stretch of beach with fine sands and beautiful waters during hot hot sunny days. Great to enjoy some swims and dips. Although at times it gets quite busy, given its hotspot beach title. Given its popularity, there is an unfortunate circumstance that follows which is the higher levels of littering or garbage scattered throughout some parts of the beach. Otherwise, this place is one fine beach to relax at.

Nice beach. Lots of places to eat and drink. Long and sandy with busier and quieter areas. Sea is perfect for swimming and stays shallow a long way out. Not rough at all and very warm.

Nice beach but fully crowded. It used to be nice. The water is calm. Beautiful sand and clean water. Full of western food restaurants. Massage on the beach.

One of the best beaches to spend the day with family. The good point is no deep coastal waters, so you are comfortable with kids playing around. There are variety of choice of beach loanger with umbrella pricing from 100 to 300 baht, bars and fruits served

Dirty beach some days but clear water.. closed bars, hotels, turism quiet..

Awesome Beach! Busy spots, quiet spots. If you wanna go to the beach a lot, buy an inflatable lounger. It costs 200 baht for a lounger/umbrella every time you go. That's life, unless your on a beachfront resort. The sun is out everyday, so enjoy.

Chaweng beach is the longest and most developed on the island, various establishments for every taste at every turn, at night life here is in full swing in places, the beach is more or less clean, not deep, you need to go to get better in the water, there are breakwaters closer to the beginning of the beach and there there are no waves, and just there you can do snorkeling, the sand on the entire line of the beach is chic, shallow and white!

The most beautiful beach in Koh Samui. Since Covid, a few other beautiful beaches have become less beautiful, but this one hasn't lost its beauty. Currently a lot of shops and restaurants are closed because they didn't stay open during Covid. So it's quite difficult to find food around the beach.

Good large beach, good sand. Many people, cheap food on beach (from 10-20b), but not in peak season there is big waves. Some times curren rips - one of them catch me 10 years ago. See the flags - double red or two red is danger. See the end of beach at the right end of beach (parking after family mart) - nice place for photos.

Great beach. Should be one of the best in the world. Pity public access is extremely limited and all the resorts have built right up onto the beach ruining any backdrop.

This usually ram packed beach has been blissfully clear for to covid. A gorgeous beach place to unwind.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great place to come at any time of the day. Team is perfectly trained and fast service. Amazing selection of great dishes as well as wide beverage selection. Definitely the best place to watch a game or just stop by for a pint & bite. BTW. The evening playlist is perfect.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I love thai food, and this restaurant serves authentic dishes of high quality, combined with great service and attention to its guests. We had to re-visit during our stay in Chaweng, as this restaurant stands out from the many (amd slightly cheaper) alternatives on the main street. Strong recomendat...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ This is by far the best home grub we have had in our entire trip!! The food is amazing! We came to watch the leeds game so I ordered lasagna as a one off and was really surprised at how good it was! We then came back a few days later for sausage and mash and it was just like they have back in Englan...
