WARNING: Do NOT use Chaweng route, like the other user mentioned it is offroad with soft soil and mud, roadbike could have tire stucked and is extremely steep for a very long time. If you insist, ensure you will ride a dirt bike with manual gear change, also ensure your bike is on tip top condition with full tank. Once you are up, you can't turn back, or abandone your bike and walk, road was too steep to be parked. Or rent a 4x4 truck, easier. Please use Lamai route instead, longer length but less steep and road was well built. It is an abandoned Viewpoint, full of mosquitoes. Do visit the temple too, it has amazing view. Very scary but also good experience overall. Stay alive!

WARNING: both roads cha-weng and lamai to the view point are very difficult I would not recommended taking a scooter. I would recommend, if you have experience to take a dirt bike, ATV or 4WD or go with a tour who can drive you up. I rode a scooter up chaweng and down lamai both routes included uneven gravel roads, broken concrete, large ruts, rocks and soft sand. It is very challenging and potentially dangerous (have 10 years riding experience). On a positive note, the views on the way up and at the top of the mountain are beautiful! There is seating available, cool spots to take pictures and drinks available. there is also a swimming pool to use which was cool but has a charge.

Super Aussichtspunkt, hier lohnt sich ein Besuch! Kalte Getränke kann man hier auch kaufen. Zur Anfahrt: Wir haben den Weg vom Lamai Beach aus gewählt. Für unsichere Rollerfahrer ist der Weg hoch und vor allem wieder runter nicht geeignet. Die Straße ist teilweise sehr Löchrig und zum Ende hin nur noch eine Schotterpiste. Achtet beim Weg runter auf eure Bremsen, diese überhitzen schnell. Fahrt definitiv nur mit einem Roller in guten Zustand (Bremsen, Reifendruck) hier hoch!

Lovely views. This spot is accessible easily in Chaweng while riding a scooter to other places. Visit the Lamai beach and stop by this interesting spot for beautiful snaps. Enjoy the breeze, enjoy the sea.

Der Aufstieg lohnt sich sehr! Mit dem Roller auf jeden Fall gut machbar wenn man kein Anfänger ist. Als wir da waren, war nicht viel los und man konnte ruhig die schöne Aussicht bei einem leckeren Getränk genießen!

Amazing views but be warned this is for advanced riders ONLY. Do not attempt during or after heavy rain. Dirt roads. Best route up is from Lamai as most of the road is concrete. We explored some other routes and it got very scary. There is an organised jungle tour if you don't want to risk it.

Safest way up/down is now from Mae Nam. Be aware of the crazy driving jungle tour 4wheelers.

Tolle Aussicht, es gibt dort auch ein Restaurant. Die Fahrt dorthin mit dem Motorbike ist eine Herausforderung. Die meisten steilen Streckenabschnitte sind betoniert. Danach gibt es einen Abschnitt der nicht betoniert ist und sandig ist mit festem Untergrund. Es gibt aber auch Abschnitte die bestehen aus einer dicken Sandschicht und sind sehr steil. Da kann der Automatic Motorbike schon Zuwenig Drehmoment haben und der Roller muss dann Bergauf geschoben werden, vorallem wenn man zu zweit auf dem Roller ist. Wenn man auf Koh Tao oder Koh Phangan mit dem Roller rum gefahren ist sollte der Aufstieg kein Problem sein aber Anfänger sollten diese Strecke auf jeden Fall meiden!

The road is too difficult. We walked around 3 km to get to the view point. The scenery along the way is beautiful and enjoyable. On the way up is only up hill, no flat road. On the way down, better prepared your knee 😅. The view point is beautiful but since there is a restaurant there and they play music too loud, it destroys the vibe of this place. The dogs are the best part, they are so welcoming.

Don't take the road from Chaweng with your motorbike, it is really offroad and there is a big chance of crashing or getting stuck . The road from Lamai is way better, there is just a very short part offroad. The view seemed to be nice. Unfortunately, it was very cloudy when we arrived at the top.

When we went, the area was overgrown and it was tough to see much of the island from the viewpoint. Maybe once the restaurant reopens it will be nicer there! It might not be worth the drive up, and there are other, better viewpoints on the island (Overlap Stone, or Namtok Na Mueang Waterfall 2)

Views are even better than the pictures can capture, also a lovely viewing area that's a nice place to rest after a tough road. Also a restaurant with cold drinks and a pool of all things! Can recommend the road from Lamai, not awesome but not too difficult if you take it slow. Most of the road is ok, with rough/broken concrete/sand in places. Did it on a scooter with my wife on the back! Not suitable for first time scooterers but if you've ridden a little you'll probably be ok. The nearby Wat is also worth a stop, lovely views and a fun adventurous day out.

Gorgeous view, the venue is run by a restaurant but feel kind of weird is there are animal sculptures(zebra giraffe…) on the peak. Admission fee is 20B. And 100B if you want to use their swimming pool.

Great view, but the road is terrible, we left our motorbike 1km behind this spot and that was right decision. We relaxed walking and adoring other views all the way long. Not far you can find a restaurant, so there's everything you need to have a good time!

Absolutely breathtaking view! We got there at 6pm and was alone. You can get some drinks at the bar&restaurant at the view point. As well they have pool with rate 100 thb adult and 50 thb per child for all day access (when we’ve been there pool was not very clean) The road to get there: if you’re a good driver with a good car and bike you should go. However if you’re not sure in your driving skills better to skip. A lot of turns and off road.

Виды оттуда замечательные! Очень зелено и ухожено. Наверху есть , парковка, ресторан, туалет и тд. Вкусные кокосы. Дорога красивая и не простая. Пожалуйста будьте аккуратны, даже если вы заберетесь наверх на своём мопеде до 300 кубов. Вниз спускаться гораздо сложнее, ваши тормоза с большой вероятность перегреются ... Люди спукались пешком оттуда не рассчитав свои силы . Лучше конечно на 🏍 с передачами.

Schöner Aussichtspunkt, mit Schaukel. Es gehört aber alles zu einem Restaurant, aber die schicken einen nicht weg 👍 Wenn man etwas kauft, kann man bestimmt auch in den Pool, mit Top Aussicht.

Didn't make it there because our bike crashed. DO NOT GO THERE EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU'RE GOOD ON A MOTORBIKE AND DO NOT TAKE AUTOMATIC BIKE. (We're ok. Just scrapes and bruises. But could have been worse)

Super disappointing! The road - if you can even call it one - is super bumpy & the view isn‘t rewarding at all. Don‘t do it!
