Slightly dated but still very comfortable. The rooms (villas) are nice and big. The location is not that close to anything in particular (walking) but easy enough to get a taxi in the road. Most of the resort has some kind of sea views. Would happily stay here again if the price was right (which it was).

We came here for our honeymoon and had such a wonderful stay. Firstly, the private pools are incredible with the most spectacular views. You can’t access the beach from the hotel, but the pools make up for that. It’s a little way out, but we liked the peace and quiet and you can easily catch a ride anywhere on the island. The hotel is on a hill, but they transport you to and from you room, which is pretty fun.

Our experience was great, the hotel is in a quiet setting with breathtaking views, it’s a nice place to rest after all the hustle of the beaches. The hotel provides a free shuttle to Lamai beach and back once a day to their sister resort ( sand sea and beach resort) which is a great place to relax by the beach. If you want to get around without a bike you can just stand by the entrance and wait for a Songathew (mini bus) to pull by, we never waited more than 4m for one to arrive and they’re cheaper than taxis. There are two pools here and they are clean and not busy. They both offer nice relaxed views. The staff was also helpful and smiley. We will recommend to anyone visiting koh samui

The room was very spacious and clean. The bed wasn’t the comfiest and only one pillow per person was provided but it wasn’t very nice for me personally. Made my neck sore… All the other hotels I’ve stayed at had provided bathrobes so was surprised I didn’t find any here, not a must but it’s nice to have. Overall a nice place to stay.

They really go above and beyond wherever they can here. Lovely staff all around, cleaning, reception, restaurant, maintenance all of it. Honestly.. boosted my faith in the Human race how lovely these people are, pays to know a little Thai too of course. Currently staying here with my Dad training, we’ve extended our stay 3x so far I believe😂I could die here

Good resort to spend a few day exploring Koh Samui. A bit far for the center (5-6km) so you’ll need to rent a motorbike in the hotel (250bt for a day so not that expensive) ! And take a taxi from and to the airport. If you want to fo to another island like Koh Tao or Koh Phangang, I recommend to book ticket in tourist agency in town, it would be cheaper and they will pick you up at the hotel ! The room were great, cold and hot shower. Thea give you water for free and the Wifi is good! You’ll need to call reception to have a free golf car to bring you to the top (the resort is big) I recommend !!

Set in a beautiful jungle bungalow style resort with ocean views. We stayed in the standard double room and had air con, a SUPER large double bed, balcony and nice bathroom facilities. Breakfast included and all the staff are nice and so is the pool. The staff will help you organise anything you need, we were able to rent a motorbike through them and they helped us book ferry tickets and organised a shuttle bus for us. Such a lovely stay! Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the resort, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The sea facing villas with pools are very impressive. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. Specially Surbhi and Janvi were very sweet and helpfull. Good going girls.. Lastly, the hotel's location was perfect. Situated in a serene and picturesque setting, it offered breathtaking views and a peaceful ambiance.

Amazing value for money!!! A true hidden gem. 5 star hotel service, super friendly staff. Rooms were slightly dated but comfortable and spacious, with everything that you need. Me and my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay here, and did not want to leave! P.s the breakfast service with the sea view is wonderful, and thank you to the lovey Indian lady who checked us in at reception. Too kind! ❤️

We stayed 4 night and have had an absolute amazing time. This resort is perfect for relaxing. There is a cliff side infinity pool looking out to the sea. Free shuttle to the beach. Free golf cart around the resort. I would 100% recommend staying here if your looking to relax with views of the sea and islands

It's a very nice place to stay, what an amazing staff super active and supporting. I have been here for three days in a private pool suite room and a room with a jacuzzi. Both rooms are comfortable and have an amazing sea view.

This is one of the worst places I have ever seen, and I have been travelling for almost a year now. The service is awful - staff are rude, unhelpful and not at all welcoming. The rooms are filthy (I ended up cleaning my room myself with the cleaning supplies - sticky stuff on counter tops, soap scum all on the shower walls, dust and dirt everywhere). And to top it all off, I found BED BUGS in my bed. When I shared my concerns with the staff and told them I needed to leave, I had to argue to get a refund, despite the horrible conditions and awful treatment by staff. They kept telling me that they weren’t able to give me a refund and that I needed to get in touch with the agent with whom I booked. After many conversations, and several weeks of back and forth emails between everyone, I finally convinced the hotel to write an email to the agent and lo and behold, I had a refund almost immediately. I was also told that if I write a bad review about my experience then I would not get a refund for the booking! Not only was this hotel FILTHY, the staff are RUDE, UNHELPFUL and there are BED BUGS. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The room was nice but the service was just okay. Some of food was good but it was kind of hit and miss. I loved the Thai green curry but did not enjoy the veg burger. I loved the machine coffee at breakfast but Thai iced coffee was sad.

We appreciate the accommodations so very much, especially help with the ferry! Thank you!! Stayed 12/15-12/17/23. Concierge was the best! Very responsive staff, would come back!

The resort has a sea view, but for only some rooms. The other rooms have a jungle view. The rooms need a renovation, though. The pool and restaurant view was fantastic. The service was also good. You need to rent a bike or car. Otherwise, have to walk a lot.

The property is really beautiful and the service is great. But the food was okay. Recommended booking a sea view room for amazing views.

Awesome resort and hospitality. We stayed there for 3 nights in October 2023. Janhbi at the reception was very sweet and helpful, she not only arranged for a early check in at 9am(check in time was2 pm),but also upgraded us to a sea facing two room villa with personal infinity pool. The room was fantastic where you can watch a mesmerizing sunrise and sunset while dipping your feet in the pool. Breakfast spread was very good.Support staffs especially Survi and Mahipal were extremely helpful for arranging our day trips and cars. I deducted one star as they had a 4 hour long powercut with no generator back up,though we enjoyed the dark environment from the comfort of our pool, many guests with small kids were highly inconvenienced, Also they need to take some measures for mosquito control as the resort is decorated by many shrubs and trees. Overall an excellent place to stay at Koh Samui for family and couples. P.S there's a beautiful beach called Cove beach which is serene and great for snorkeling and only 5 minutes walking distance from the resort(👍to Janvi).

I arrived as part of the Samui plus scheme to enter Thailand and had to stay in Samui for seven days first. I contacted a various amount of hotels and was pleasantly surprised with Baan Hin resort as they replied very promptly and gave all the required information that I needed. I arrived in October and I was pleasantly surprised the staff were very tentative and not overbearing wise and I was looked after extremely well. As for the resort it's a mixture of modern and traditional Thai and the rooms are kept immaculate and very roomy and the beds very comfy. Thery have a few pools to choose from which is nice as it was very hot and very to easy to relax, the grounds surrounding are enriched with tropical plants and it is very beautiful. The restaurant is amazing very spacious and modern and the food and hospitality was outstanding. The location was excellent local areas easy to access I would definitely stay here again and I'm very glad that I picked this resort as part of my Samui plus scheme. Wayne

I must say that the service was above and beyond what was expected. We arrived as a young couple and realizing that the hotel is located far from the center, we turned to JJ the manager and he took care of us in an exceptional way! Transferred us to the sister hotel located in a central area, he was attentive and pleasant. The hotel is absolutely spectacular in its beauty and the service is courteous. Recommend!

Such a lovely place and I recommend you if you come here with your family or with friends its great place to stay. They have many options such as huge swimming pool, piano in the front of the reception and an amazing view from the restaurant. This place is near the beach as well. All the stuffs are so nice and friendly feel like home. Thanks for having me. 🇹🇭🙏🏾

I saw 4 guests get shocked by the toaster and they just kept changing toaster...they clearly have no safety devices to cut the current.. The breakfast is @#$#@$ bring a fishing rod and toss it off the restaurant ask ask them to cook it. We also witnessed the garden lights catch fire due to bad wiring. God kids? Want to see them grow up.. forget this place.....shocking

Serene and tranquil place away from the bustle of the beach roads on Samui.

Our 3 nights stay at Baan Hin Sai was a bit disappointing. First, it was impossible for us to communicate with the hotel via booking. No way is provided by chat or something else via booking website or app if you want to get in touch with the hotel (it’s the first time I experience it whereas I travel a lot). It’s the same for the review that I’m not able to write in booking. The location was inadequate. It's only interesting if you know how to get around on your own, i.e. by scooter. Both the room and the hotel's facilities were outdated and in need of renovation. The bathroom wasn’t clean enough and sanitaires did not work properly. The plugs did not work either. Finally, prices offered for every thing were disproportionally high! 80 bath for a water bottle while you pay it 20e art at a shop in the street. And these high prices cannot be justified by the standard of cleanliness or other services included in the price of your stay (indeed, everything you have to pay for everything you can ask).
