20/10 dining experience. The food is absolutely out of this world yum. The staff are incredibly personable and explain everything to you. We had the lamb tenderloin and Tiger prawn and mangosteen curry and were blown away by the flavour. Try the Thai Basil smash cocktail also. You won’t be disappointed. Be sure to book ahead of time though. I think the word has got out 😃

A one of a kind dining experience in Ko Samui. By far my favorite meal of the entire trip! This gem is ran by a husband and wife team - the husband who enthusiastically greets guests and explains the menu in thorough detail, and the wife who precisely executes the dishes in the kitchen. Everything we had was phenomenal, but the highlight for me was the blue crab curry. 10/10 recommend!

Supattra was recommended by the Four Seasons in Koh Samui, and for good reason—absolutely stellar meal and experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Wonderful indoor/outdoor ambiance. Food was sensational (and very well-priced). For appetizers, I highly recommend the grilled mushroom, laab thod, and crispy squid. For main, I only tried the blue crab, which was mouthwateringly delicious and perfectly spiced (request “Thai” level spice if you’re up for it!). Will absolutely return next time I am in Koh Samui.

Worth all the hype. I saw the mangosteen seafood salad and had to try it. Simply impressive. The sweetness if the mangosteen, minced pork, and shrimp blended perfectly with the sauces sourness and a touch of heat. The crab in southern curry took it to the next level. The first thing you notice is the sweetness from the coconut cream, then comes a punch of the wonderful curry paste and right after that comes some heat. They then all linger and dance around in your mouth. The last dish that really stands out and you should try is the sea king shrimp in tamarind sauce. The shrimp is cooked perfectly and at the last moment she adds the sauce to extract the shrimp's flavor into the sauce, leaving you with the juicy sweetness of shrimp, lovely sourness of tamarind, wrapped with a bit of smokiness from the wok. Besides the food Supattra has a very impressive wine menu. They have a great variety of quality wines at a price that makes you just say let's get a bottle instead of a couple of glasses. I definitely recommend you give Supattra Thai Dining while on Samui.

Lovely modern Thai food. You have to try if you respect creativity. We had the crab curry - grilled prawns - fried squid and one of the best bowls of coconut ice cream on the planet! The other best bowl is some joint in Ubud Bali called Tukies. I’ll be thinking about Supattra’s coconut ice cream until the next time I visit Samui. Kob kuhn kap

We had a very nice evening in this very well run restaurant by an Austrian (Thomas) and his wife (Supattra). The atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxed and pleasant. The service staff is unusually attentive and friendly. (This is not typical on Samui). The food is really tasty and beautifully presented and you can choose the degree of spiciness yourself... by Supattra. The kitchen team does a very good job! They have also a good selection of different wines and other drinks and with the help of Thomas you will surely find the right one to go with your meal. Thomas is also very helpful in choosing the food you want. He can explain everything to you. (The menu is on a blackboard :) There aren't 100 various dishes on the menu and that's a good thing! 😉 The prices are higher than elsewhere, but for the quality you get, it's definitely okay! It's a special Thai restaurant, you won't find another one like this on Samui. We can recommend a visit! 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻 (Reservation is required)

This restaurant is THE BEST thai Experience I have ever had so far. The place is a very authentic thai vibe place. The owners are active working, the Wife is Supattra herself the cook and I can really certainly tell that she cooks with Soul and Love. The food tastes like it has the perfect balance of all tastes and spices. The wine selection is also exceptional, as her Husband is from Europe and you can see Austrian, Italian, French and even Hungarian wines. Stunning. The menu is selected from a board where they explain you the dishes, like you would read a Hemingway book. You have to try it when you are un Koh Samui.

The absolute best restaurant in Samui, offering amazing thai food. The flavors were out of this world, a 5 star chef! Service was also super nice. All together, amazing experience.

The reviews are true: Supattra offers a great high class Thai dining experience. All of our meals were very good. The restaurant is run by an Austrian and his Thai wife. He explained every dish in great detail. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want to have a fancy Thai dinner in Koh Samui. Make sure to reserve in advance. We only got a table by chance as a walk-in.

Our favorite restaurant! Had to go back the second time and try everything on the menu. Small careful selected menu with detailed explanation. Every dish is delicious and our favorite is the curry crab and seafood in coconut. Loved watching Supattra in the open kitchen creating her masterpieces. Thomas is always enthusiastic and super hospitable, he also makes great recommendations on the wine and cocktails. Highly recommend!

Owner explained the menu from top to bottom in detail, which was a very nice touch. Food was prepared by his wife, very authentic and delicious. Ambience was great as well, feels like you’re having a local, cosy homecooked but high quality meal. You HAVE to order the blue crab curry and the warm coconut milk dessert. Two thumbs up!

Well, what can I say! Absolutely incredible My boyfriend was hesitant because he didn't think it was authentic, but IT WAS, and he ordered his main twice!! Incredible food, amazing service, and a lovely treat! We spent £170 for 2 startes, 3 mains, 1 desert, a bottle of wine, and some G&T, so it is definitely expensive for Thailand but fair for what we had and what you get!

I'm quite bothered by the praises for the very pleasant cook's cuisine, but the Christmas dinner, perhaps due to the special menu, was rather average. Average because, in general, one eats very well almost everywhere in Koh Samui for a fraction of the bill at Supattra. Paying Paris or London prices in Koh Samui, one expects something exceptional. It was not, except for the delicious tiger schrimp/ fish plate. Like almost everywhere in Koh Samui, the service is impeccable.

I don't review much, neither a big fan of lemongrass, however the experience in this place has warranted to spend some time advocating for those of you who read a stranger's recommendation. Go. Book in advance. Order some starters to share. Get the blue crab curry for yourself, do NOT share, it's too good. Order the Coconut deserts, both of them. Share at your peril. White wine was great. Super fresh fish and seafood, cooked to perfection. I loved it. Service was out of this world - even the Chef came to answer our questions. Point is made, Go here when you're in Koh Samui

Upmarket restaurant with a fantastic chef and very professional staff. Food was very well presented and at the same time, tasty. Chef even came to check if we ŵere happy with the meal. You will be dining outdoor so out one some mosquito repellent before you venture there. Highly recommended

To start off: if I could give more than five stars, I would. The service is extraordinary and the food is as well. The restaurant specialises in seafood, but also has other options available. The selection of wines is extensive. The three wines we've had (per glass selection) were all very tasteful. The taste and structure of the mango in the desert was the best I've ever had! The restaurant is expensive for Thai standards, but more than worth her price. If wanting to dine here, it is advised to reserve a table.

Delicious food and good value for money! Thomas and Supattra are superfriendly and explained the specialties of the different meals to us. Will definately come back one day.

Amazing place - worth all the reviews, best meal we had so far on our three week trip in Thailand. We had the: Rock Lobster (the spices were divine), the crispy calamari (delicious!), blue crab (this is the specialty) and something else which is basically a lot of seafood cooked in a coconut!

It is a Thai restaurant with a touch of western standards. It is owned and managed by a French and Thai couple. The owner is quite attentive; he explains the entire menu and makes suggestions. They have few items on the menu, but all are well selected. Reservation is essential as they only have a few table.

This place was excellent! From the food, to the atmosphere, to the incredible staff - we can’t say enough great things about our experience here. The owner takes his time to walk you though the menu and give you options; all food here supports local markets and local fishermen which is also great. The food is delicious, while it is catered to a more western type of clientele it does not loose any of its locals Thai flavours. We’ve been in Thailand for almost two weeks and have eaten at endless might markets and street vendors; and have had the best curries and dishes here. This place is a must for us while in Koh Samui.

Just amazing. Such a well curated menu that really captures all the flavours of the South. Fresh fish, succulent crab, prawns bursting with flavour, a foodies dream. All capped off with an impeccable wine list served via Coravin at the perfect temperature. The starters were nice but fairly standard, and thus good for kids. The mains were where the real flavour and creativity lay, and the most difficult decision was trying to decide what to order. The wine could perhaps be a little more reasonably priced given the pours are only 125ml, but that’s really the only drawback, and to be fair the beers and cocktails are very appropriately priced so everyone is catered for. Ps - the negroni was superb. Would most definitely return, again and again. Best restaurant in Samui in my opinion and the owners are extremely friendly also.

A hidden gem of a restaurant in Koh Samui. I had dinner there a year ago during my holidays in the island and it is the best food I had in a long time. Fresh ingredients and an absolutely amazing chez made this an evening to remember. They also had a fantastic wine selection. The staff was attentive and friendly, clearly a place not to miss.

It was a rainy day in Koh Samui, but despite the bad weather, we found the coziest place on the island. The service was flawless, and we felt at home since the first moment: the owners greeted us explaining the menu items one by one and the food was as good as you can get. The plates perfectly encapsuled the flavours and the tradition of Thai culture, while the wine selection was broad and encopassed wines from all over the world. The desserts were simply perfect. Mandatory stop in Koh Samui
