Very nice location with excellent service. The owner was so Friendly and sweet. We have the set menu for 390 wich was great and I recommend the mussels and massaman chicken 🐔 curry spicy ⭐️ and we ordered the truffle 🍄 pasta 🍝 which was so delicious and tasty 👅 and you will not go wrong with it. I wish if I knew this place earlier because it was my last night here hopefully next time will come back again 🌹

Best restaurant in the island. Gao is an amazing french chef but the real boss of the place is his Vietnamese wife. Good deal is to come for lunch with the Vietnamese 7 course menu. If you come at night, don't hesitate to let the chef you the menu of the day for you as it is always good ! Thank you Gao for the food and the experience! We will come back for sure!

One of the best restaurants on Samui! Super friendly owner and staff, high quality food and very fair pricing. We went there nearly every day during our Samui trip and can‘t wait to come back soon! The owner‘s dog Misa also is super friendly and makes Red Moon our new #1 in Samui :-)

King dish of Fisherman's Village. A must eat when you visit. We really enjoy the meal. It was an wonderful experience. Friendly & humorous owner. Lovley staff. It couldn't be any better. All the food and desserts are great. Especially mushroom truffle pasta and ravioli is so good. It has a very very rich flavor to it. You'll love it on your first mouthful. Tartar tuna is delicious too. Thank you for the sweet present. I highly recommended this restaurant♡

The food here was amazing - very flavourful and authentic. The service was also great! I can highly recommend the chocolate macaron dessert. Will definitely be coming back again soon!

Excellent food, this level of high level food is very surprising and an unexpected pleasant find. I think this is probably the best (western) restaurant in the fisherman area. (maybe even in Samui). Good prices for what we ordered. - Excellent duck - Excellent steaks ! - Excellent kids food like "שניצל" schnitzel. Recommended.

Had dinner here last night , excellent value 390 bht for entrée & main. Good selection to choose from. Serving Thai & French cuisine, very yummy desert and a Beautiful bottle of French Rose for only 1000 bht. Spike our waiter was very friendly and provided excellent attentive service. Just 30 metres past the old pier at Fisherman’s Village, therefore nice and quiet. Worth a visit for a great meal, definitely going back again before we leave.

Came here for dinner. The owner was friendly, accommodating and gave great recommendations for food and drinks. Food was authentic and value for money. Ambience indoors as well as our in the back garden was amazing as well. One of the best restaurants along Fisherman’s Wharf, you won’t regret eating here!

a hidden gem in the fisherman village, with amazing food and friendly stuff. we came with 3 young kids which enjoy every second in the place with the fishes and even got to feed them, and they also love every dish on the table. 6 start if we could give it ;)

French Vietnamese cuisine in Thailand We loved Red Moon so much we went twice! On our last opportunity to eat out on our holiday, we went back to Red Moon. The owners are lovely, warm-hearted and generous. The food is amazing and so much to choose from. If you're not sure what to get, let the owner/chef choose for you. A must try is the Tea Leaf Salad, I was recommended to try it, and I'm so glad I did as it's not something I'd consider to order. Pasta in Thailand? Absolutely, made fresh each day by the French owner, beautiful and delicate. Absolutely 5 stars all round. Number one place to eat at Fisherman's Market and an absolute experience.

Very friendly staff, French owner who loves a chat and helped us choose our meals for the night. We tried his new idea of veal which was amazing! The staff love a chat too, very good English. Highly recommend!

We lived in koh samui for 6 months and RED MOON is the BEST RESTAURANT in all the Island. Gao and his family are incridble, its my number 1 recommendation. In the lunch have a super vietnamese menu(you will love) and the dinner will be the heaven. 😀

Really good restaurant, with high quality food. The staff was super friendly. The food was delicious. Really recommend this place especially if you are looking for really good western food. But they also have Thai food.

The food here is beyond good. Your best bet is to just skip the menu and let the chef's recommendation be your guide. He's as skilled as he is pleasant to chat to. My only complaint is we didn't try it until our last night. We'll be back on our next trip to Sumui. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did!

There are some Restaurants you can go and some Restaurants you definitely have to go. This is one of them. Amazing Food (Thai and some European Dishes). We recommend to ask the wonderful french chef for his personal recommendation and have at least a little Chat with him. We had the great Thai Leaf Salad, Spring Rolls, Truffle Fettuccine and Duck breast with red Curry. Will come here again!

Absolutely brilliant little restaurant, we stayed at a small boutique hotel about a 1min walk away. The owners are fantastic hosts and nothing was ever too much trouble for them, the food was superb and by the end of the week we found ourselves chilling like we’d known the owners for years.

The food is amazing, I recommend take for the appetizer the spring roll-it was one of the best I have ever had! The service is amazing, very nice waitresses. Will definitely recommend!
