If you want a luxurious vacation with supreme service that comes with the word ā€œreserve,ā€ stay away from this hotel. We booked the Ocean Reserve Suite with suite and villa experience but thereā€™s nothing really luxurious about it. At max, this hotel would be only four stars. The good things are that the hotel is large and spectacular. Itā€™s a beautiful building with a lot of area that includes 3 swimming with a very long stretch of white sand beach. Chaweng beach is one of the very best in Samui. So you can always enjoy that. The Reserve Cenvaree Spa is one of the best I have visited at luxury hotels. I tried the Echoes of the Past treatment that include oil message, crystals treatment and rose quartz facial treatment. It was so unique yet clever. The crystals, believe it or not, actually works! So Iā€™ll definitely visit the Spa again when Iā€™m back in Samui. We want to highlight Khun William, our driver from the airport, who really made us feel special and just really so friendly yet respectful. Heā€™s the type of staff that this hotel needs the most. However, these are probably only good things I can say. Our package includes a Reserve Host, aka. butler which was no where to be found. And so does the herb specialist who will take us on a tour at the herb garden to pick out local herbs for cocktails or spa. Apparently I had to book with a spa. The room description on the website says it comes with bathtub and rain shower. Well, donā€™t trust their official website. Apparently the copy are incorrect. Many room types do not have bathtubs. The bathroom didnā€™t have essential amenities such as shaving kit, dental kit or comb either. I was told that they intentionally left these out so that guests can have more interaction with the staff. šŸ˜¬ Turn down is possibly the weirdest. We got a chocolate treats with different names on the card, our towels were not changed, they move water bottles and glasses from the bathroom to bedside tables. A manager came up to apologize on the incorrect room description with afternoon nibble leftovers and cocktail ingredients for mojito. But the spirit in the minibar are vodka, whisky and gin. The food at Salt Society was okay. Nothing to run home. The breakfast is worse. It was a mess of a show. Egg station cooked a wrong dish. Noodle station didnā€™t serve a bowl with a saucer. Instead the cook just pointed to ones so that guests can grab themselves while holding hot bowl of food. The buffet line doesnā€™t have pot holders, so all those steam waters always wet the countertop. And the afternoon nibble is literally three bites of food. I can name at least 5 different properties that have better club benefits. At least 80% of the staff do not know what they are doing. Literally the most frustrating part is that what makes 5 stars are the staff and service. Se have decided to spend dinner on the last night at another hotel, which was completely different in terms of service and flavors. We used the limousine service provided by the hotel. On the return trip, we had to wait for almost an hour for the car to arrive. We scheduled it at 9 pm. We call them at 8:30 pm to make sure that the car came on time. But the car arrived at 9:40. During check-out, I had to raise up the issue to duty manager and the only thing I got was a sorry. No compensation offer on the waisted time. I try to reach out to management to discuss about my experience at the hotel. He didnā€™t reply. So we felt like our money are just bring wasted there and we are not really valued. So we decided to spend our last afternoon somewhere else to avoid the frustration. In conclusion, if they do not fix the problem, stay as far as possible.

Myself and my partner stayed here for a week. The service is outstanding from the moment you step foot into the hotel. It is the little details that make it stand out. The surprise of the day, the inclusive cocktail bar in your room, the beech bag for you to use. It was our 2nd anniversary, and they put fresh roses and balloons in our room. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, and I highly recommend the Thai restaurant we will definitely return.

A stunning slice of paradise! Delighted to stay at Centara Reserve Samui on its 1st official day of opening (1 Dec 2021). Booked a week in a king reserve ocean view room on the top floor (833). TL:DR summary: this hotel is the best on Samui so just book it! It's exquisitely renovated, beautifully presented, with outstanding facilities - but above all, I've never before met a hotel team who are so dedicated to making sure their guests are happy. You really get a sense that the team here are striving for true perfection. So that's the short version of the review... The longer one must start with a special mention of all the amazing staff here. We tried our best to remember all the names of the fabulous people who assisted us but apologies if we missed anyone - genuinely, each encounter with someone from the team here was impressive. We had the best check in with Pare on arrival - welcome drinks with some theatre, cold towels and a great intro to the hotel and it's services. On our first night we ate at Salt Society (reviewed separately, worth a visit) and met 'Na' who was one of the senior management team here. He was a delight to chat to, clearly took enormous pride in the hotel concept they have created and explained that Centara Reserve is the chains first foray into 5* luxury. So this is a true flagship hotel - and it shows! We also met 'Now/Nao(?)' who was one of the senior team here, too. Both of them since checked on us daily to see how we were enjoying the hotel. What we really appreciated was their interest in our honest, unfiltered feedback. We mentioned just the slightest issue in our room for example and it was immediately noted and rectified. Elsewhere there needs to be a special mention of the breakfast and pool area teams, in particular Nan, Bo, Yod (such a gentleman!), Pla, Em, Por, Pang, Paul, Sin, Koko and Nannie. The team is a credit to Patrick the GM - he should be extremely proud of what has been created here. The room was exceptional. As part of the renovation they have 'stolen' half of a neighbouring room to create a massive master bathroom with centerpiece freestanding bath and the most amazing rain shower (so soft!) for the king rooms. All high quality, German sanitary ware. The a/c is great, the bed new and comfortable, the linens and towels so soft. We were so impressed by the housekeeping and turndown services, too. Precision folding of the duvet(!), placing water by the bedsides, little details that make a difference. They even managed to tidy up after us on a daily basis - no mean feat! Perhaps the only point for improvement would be the storage: the wardrobe is a little small and there are too few drawers. There is definitely space in the room for a small freestanding chest of drawers for extra storage. Great free minibar! The gym is massive for a hotel with new technogym machines and plenty of free weights, squat rack and cable jungle. Brilliant for a hotel. Special mention as well for sustainable practices. No single use toiletries, water all served in reusable glass bottles, bamboo and glass strawers, no plastic bin liners - excellent attention to sustainable practices to help preserve this stunning island. Finally, the pools and beach area are superb in every way. As a renovated hotel, there are already established, mature coconut palms (catch them when they are being trimmed and you get free, fresh coconuts straight from the tree!). There is stunning landscaping, flowers, so many butterflies, delightful pools and even an adult only infinity pool with a special glass exposed wall! Check the pics! So much fun. This part of Chaweng beach is also wide and clean. And it goes without saying that the pool service is as brilliant as the rest of the hotel, with free iced water always topped up. Overall, this place is perfection. We've stayed in many hotels around the world and this has to be one of our top five. You really shouldn't stay anywhere else in Samui!

Great hotel with amazing service. It has surprise of the day button on the phone which brings you a nice treat every day :) A cool app which you can call them with. And an in room cocktail bar with daily refill.

Our stay at the hotel was amazing! We enjoyed every moment. Upon our arrival we were greeted with joy, respect and a very high level of service. The room was equipped with everything, a free mini bar that is filled every morning, a high level of cleanliness and a luxurious bed. We were on our honeymoon, and they put a bouquet of flowers and treats on the bed. The breakfast was very tasty, with a menu and serving of personal dishes like in a chef's restaurant. It is mandatory and recommended for every couple/family to spend their vacation in Kosmoi in this hotel!

Best hotel in Thailand. Service is beyond amazing, the staff are super nice and helpful. Only problem is some of them donā€™t really know English well enough for basic communication.. we stayed at the Garden pool suite, which is an excellent room with a huge private pool. The breakfast is amazing, they have Japanese food as well. The hotel is very clean and modern, they have an adult only pool which is amazing. 10000/10 much recommended!!

A good luxury resort offering. Staff are friendly and attentive. Some ground floor rooms have private plunge pool and others have a common large pool. The cocktails are reasonably priced. Only quibble might be the location, not a lot on offer along the street by way of shops, those are closer up to the Central shopping centre about 1km north. It is walkable but just grab a baht bus if it's hot. I travelled in early January and the temperature was similar to Brisbane summer but higher humidity.

We are here enjoying one week (7 nights), and at time of writing itā€™s the afternoon of night 5. We are truly settled in now and really donā€™t want to leave. Everything is perfect! The staff are warm and friendly and so attentive. The pools are gorgeous and so many great spots to enjoy the sun, shade, beach, pools or gardens. Like a beautiful oasis. The food is OUTSTANDING and we have stayed and eaten at countless 5 (and beyond) star luxury places around the world. We are in a standard garden view room which is perfectly well set up and very comfortable, especially when youā€™re out all day enjoying the grounds and facilities, and exploring the island! Today we have decided that the only thing wrong is we are not here long enough, so will book the same trip for 2 full weeks, same time next year. I will write another review as soon as Google will let me, with more detailā€¦ but felt compelled to share how fantastic this place is asap.

This is the worse hotel I have ever seen. We ran out after one night there. Just not worth your money at all I am shocked of what you are given with the price you pay. 1.first of all the rooms are smaller than what booking said (after measuring and verifying) that was the most disgraceful lie!!!! Almost completely ruined our honeymoon. 2.the showers had mold!!!! And the washroom and shower did not have separation from rest of the room ...this is the most bizarre thing ever 3.they don't even offer mineral water.they say water is complimentary but it is tap water put onto a bottle with rust! 4.the only night we stayed there reception woke us up at 8:00 in the morning. They dialed the wrong room!!!! 5.there is no closet and where to put clothes just a small hanger 6.a lot of the rooms you hear the street ,very noisy To sum up just stay away this is definitely not worth a dime

Oasis of Koh Samui! They serve the best breakfast ever šŸ˜‹ with many varieties to choose, from Western to Eastern, you name it, they have it.. What's more! you can also order Alacarte drink & morning menus such as egg Benedict or Salmon or Avocados burst, banana booster or blueberries toast, you can go wild with your options.. I love Centara Reserve Coffee & Tea, they are magical. Rooms are clean and quite spacious, lights are automatic.. Room Service is superb with every day surprise, love this little unique feature, where they serve you with something cute and delicious every day if you call for it. Free flow of Whisky, Vodka or Malt. And fruit juice, coffee or tea. Pool and pool bar is great too, have relaxing Jacuzzis build in the pool area to wind down your day.. They also have many different restaurants to choose from, where they serve you really really well.. Hotel building, landscape and architecture all stands out from the rest and make you feel worth every penny you spend here for your holiday.. 5 stars and all thumbs up!

We had such a lovely time, the hotel is beautifully landscaped and promotes sustainability in every detail. It sits on the best stretch of beach on the island. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and they really go the extra mile. My daughter loved calling room service for the surprise of the day and then they really spoil you with an extra treat for turn down service. We felt really spoiled during our stay and loved every moment!

The best resort/hotel I have ever stayed in. Newly renovated and all parts of the resort is in excellent condition. We were travelling with our 5 boys and had 3 pool access rooms next to each other. Fantastic having a large pool just shared with a few other rooms. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Only negative was a Friday night seafood buffet dinner, which was quite disappointing not least given that the dessert were all very strange and definitely not targeted European tourists. In short still the best resort we have ever stayed in.

Hard to fault this place. It's pristine. The staff are great( Paul especially). The food is top notch....shout out to the kids meals...kids licking the plates. Loads to do. Kids club lovely. Pool great ( too warm) but beautiful. Water area for the kids OUTSTANDING. They do a Sunday Brunch which acts as a partial daypass and a day pass the rest of the week. All offsettable against food and drink. A lot of the other 5 star resorts will simply let you use the facilities if you buy a drink or have lunch. The Banyan tree doesn't either, but their day pass is a third less than the centara. I love this place, I just need to limit my visits to a luxury treat.

Excellent place. Great staff at service. Supreme beach. And one of the best restaurant in town. Any Centaraā€™s breakfast never disappoint me, also here once again. Lot of surprises and boutique experience on green&eco concept (no plastic will be found here). Our family of 11 visited here for 3D 2N. We were super happy. Six stars deserved šŸ‘

Fantastic hotel near to loads of small restaurants. Attention to detail is outstanding in this hotel. With many nice little touches such as ā€œsurprise of the dayā€ where you press the titled button on the phone and a nice little something is brought to your room. Also Love the free daily stocked mini bar on the room, although not an All inclusive hotel per seā€™. We booked a Reserve Ocean King room which was lovely. Staff are also great and well trained in my point of view.

Wow wow wow I just could not wait to review this Paradise Hotel This is our second day in the hotel, and I just had to write it an early review. The hotel is just a paradise and so beautiful. The staff are lovely professional, but yet super friendly. The breakfast, which we are having right now is to die for. We have been too many five star luxury hotels, but this one is just on the top. Please try the sweet, dumpling, peanuts and coconut. You have never experienced Such an amazing and delicious food.It just melts in your mouth Decor of the hotel, the colours the materials used in this hotel just gives a cosy and warm feel but yet luxurious Hotel is very big, but you donā€™t feel overcrowded as the grounds are huge so people are spread. There is a beach club, just two minute walk from the beach . They had amazing DJs if youā€™re into electronic and house music we will definitely go tonight as well.. (You will not hear the sound from the Hotel.) A beach club is called seem beach club, Samui We feel like we have found a gem in Thailand, which we will definitely revisit again and stay here when we come back to Thailand again Thank you in advance Saba and mehdi emily Room 713

From the personal and soothing check-in process, to delicious and generous breakfast and great pools, there is nothing lacking here. Grounds and gardens are gorgeous, lush, and immaculate. Plenty of comfortable loungers and terrific service. Right on the beach! Restaurants and shops just steps away. Highly recommend! Donā€™t miss the massage operation on the beach just south of the resort.

The resort is AMAZING and so BEAUTIFUL! As soon as we arrived, we had warm welcome from the staff. FAH showed us our room. Room is clean, spacious, view from our room is beautiful! There are three pools, we spent our time with our little boy at the kids pool and love it! We ate couple times at salt society and the terrace, food is tasty there too. Breakfast you can order from the menu but they also have buffet options. Breakfast is very yummy too. There are many restaurants options outside of the resorts with other shops around. We would like to thank all the staff, from the receptionists, restaurant staff to pool staff, they all have smile on their face every time when we see them and very nice and friendly which makes the whole experience even better! We enjoyed our stay and love it so much! We are already planning our next trip! Highly recommended!

We are now staying at the resort, the best resort we have ever been to!! We will definitely come back here and recommend to everyone!! The breakfast is delicious and rich, everything is available (even a kosher omelette!), the service is excellent and very pampering, the hotel facilities (pool, sports activities, spa and more) are also high quality and pampering, the rooms are simple wow! Everything is clean and meticulous down to the smallest details, the hotel simply takes care of everything for you, we have no reason or desire to leave it! We haven't left yet and are already waiting to come back!

Cannot reccomend Centara Reserve highly enough. The team amd general service here is excellent. There is an app to contact concierge easily for any requests which are responded to promptly. They have great kids amenities on the room. Super clean and tidy. Breakfast is phenomenal and there are always little treats to be had in your room. Cocktails here are also amazing ! We were on a reserve pool villa with a private plunge pool. It was rainy season so a few mosquitoes about but we were provided with spray and mosquito coils as soon as we mentioned it. It was a great location for us as the main busy part of Chaweng beach is a 15 to 20 minute walk away (with a stroller/pushchair/toddler) so nice and quiet around the hotel itself.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Centara Reserve in Nov 2023. The hotel, rooms and facilities are beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Big thanks to William who organised all our transport around the island. The swim-up bar in the main pool was a big plus and the restaurants were excellent. The breakfast buffet was particularly good. Easy access to the beach. Highly recommended.

By far the worst experience we had in a hotel, made my wife cry on our honeymoon, We switched hotels after one day. * The rooms are smaller than advertised. * Shower had mold in it. * Room is not soundproof (you can hear all that in going in the street). * The hotel does not provide mineral water, only had two "complimentary" tap water in rusty bottles. *The shower and bathroom are not separated from the rest of the room and there in no closet. I would not recommend this hotel, Also from browsing reviews it seems that some 5 star or 10 ratings include the issues with the room.

No chairs or tables inside, excellent toiletries, towels, bed, drinks included in the room including spirits, soft drinks juices and beer. Shower is outstanding. Breakfast is fantastic. Restaurants need a menu revision. Beach is fantastic. Pools are great. Service is wonderful. Staff really good. There is no restaurant with typical Thai dishes.

My husband and I stayed here for a week in October and it is the best resort I have ever stayed in. We never left the resort for the week. Loved the pool but only got to swim in the ocean on two days as the others had red flags, although the ocean looked okay. Happy hour at the Gin bar was always fun. Great staff and a really good breakfast. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved everything about this resort. It has been totally refurbished since we were last there 6 yrs ago. Staff were all so very friendly and helpful. On arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful room close to all amenities and close to the elevator when they realised my husband was visually impaired and had had us originally booked in a room a bit further away. We were given complimentary drinks while we waited for our newly allocated room to be ready which was not very long at all. Loved the fact that there is an adult only pool away from the main pool area. Loved that the resort had it's own private beach with sun lounges. Loved the pool bar ! Loved there were day beds , lounges and hammocks around the resort. The on site spa/massage parlour is first class, fantastic massages, very professional. I cannot speak highly enough of this resort and we will certainly be going back there in the future. Thank you to all of the staff at the resort with a special mention to Mr BIG (I think he was the manager) and also Sophie who escorted us to our room and made sure we were looked after. Both ever so friendly.

Beautiful and modern hotel set right on the beach. One of the most impressive features, is the amount of complimentary items we receive included in the price (mini bar, snacks etc). You also press a ā€˜surprise of the dayā€™ button on the phone, and a treat gets brought to you. All staff were fantastic, and overall this is definitely a 5-star stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Centara. Stayed for over 1.5 weeks and enjoyed it all. Hotel is brand new and they are providing excellent service to guests. Rooms are modern, quiet, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the large bathroom with lush fluffy towels and the big bathtub. The breakfast buffet has lots of fresh and 5 star choices. Savoury or sweet options. They bake all pastries and cocolates on site and they became our favourite chocolate croissants ever! On overcast/rainy days sea water was quite wavy. However, on sunny still days it was very calm. The pool has comfy lounge chairs, with staff to help w towels and shade. Swim up bar has friendly staff and other guests. Fun music amd ambiance but not a party pool. Just chill and nice. Ate several times at Salt Society and enjoyed the beach views and delicious drinks and meals.

Absolutely stunning. The best beach front I would say. Clean white sand and clear shallow waters for kids to enjoy. Despite monsoon season. The sea was calm. The hotel has amazing facilities specially free Canoeing experience. Great breakfast, pool, staff and welcome drinks. Minibar was free and hotel gave 2500 bhat for any food. Surprise of the day was a great feature. The pool suites should have a bit of privacy. They did have ones with walls but was in a far corner.

The hotel is new. We visited in Dec 2021. To promote the opening, they offered a lot of special treats i.e., bubble bath, surprise of the day, complementary alcohols. The service was also very impressive. Every staff was cheerful and warm. The hotel is very large with beautiful garden and beachfront. The lobby is very well decorative, good for taking photos.

We had a one week stay here and loved every minute of it. The pool is spacious with enough sun beds and the beach is well maintained. There was a red flag warning at the beach for our entire stay and the waves were quite strong, however it was perfect for wave jumping and body boarding. No issue getting a spot by the beach or pool everyday. At breakfast there is a good variety of food, both buffet and al a carte. Clean rooms and attentive staff. Thank you
