I really went to Kobe to have a Kobe beef for the first time, and I must say, I have a wonderful experience! 😋😋😋 Location: It’s easy to find, no sweat at all. Taste and Presentation: Gosh, the beef literally melted in my mouth! Really tender and savory! Plus, it’s prepared in front of you by the chef which adds to the wow factor! 🤩 Price: Totally worth it! It’s affordable! The set meal I ordered was the recommended one which is around ¥6,500 I think. You could ask for refill for the side dishes too! 😊 Other tips: We went there at dinner time, walk-in. Glad that there was no line and we were accommodated fast, but to be sure, it’s best to make a reservation. 🤩 It is really a good experience and it’s a 10/10 for me! Will definitely be back!

Straight away, would recommend this as a medium cost high quality steak restaurant. Look to spend around $50-$70 AUD. Lined up after the restaurant opened, only waited maybe 5 minutes to be seated. The steak was amazingly smooth, the service was excellent and the experience was well worth what you pay for.

For those of you who cannot speak japanese, it is recommended that you see the menu first outside and take your pick so you are not overwhelmed while inside as the place is usually crowded during lunch time. I ordered the lunch package as it offers cheap combination of kobe beef steak and can only br purchased during lunch time. You can see the chef preparing your food in front of you and you can also take photos/videos of the process.

Followed a Thai travel show (Go Went Go) review on YouTube and wasn’t a disappointment especially coming all the way from Florida, USA. We went for the Special Kobe Beef loin steak set and the Special Kobe Beef tenderloin steak set. The beef was rich and marbled giving it a tender flavor that literally melted in your mouth. No need for the dipping sauce as they used butter when grilling. The ambience was a little old style decor and service could have been a little better as they seemed to be understaff for lunch. Still worth the whole experience!!

Not bad for a quick fix. Pricing very affordable, for steak. Would say the quality of the meat is really not bad. Yes, it is quite touristy, but the meat is really tender and juicy. For the done-ness of the meat, we just followed the chef’s recommendation. Each set comes with a bowl of salad, grilled vegetables, and drinks (coffee). Tried the wagyu beef steak set and Kobe beef steak lunch. Kobe beef steak which is the cheaper one, tasted better for me. Juicy, tender and soft. There are a few “islands”, so the chef will prepare the necessary portion and go over to each “island” to cook. It gives you the experience of watching the chef cooking the meat and vegetables in front of you. 👍🏼 oh yea, I love the fried garlic. Oh yes for the special set, it gives you the option of either rice or bread, coffee or orange juice! Food - exceed my expectation (because this is quite touristy) Atmosphere - like a cruise experience, like fast food.. for such price. 😂 quite smokey everywhere! And no fabric mist 😢 Pricing - affordable 👍🏼

I came to Kobe to expect some great Kobe steak. Maybe it was the particular restaurant I chose, but the steak that I had at Steakland was average and nothing to rave about. At first glance, the restaurant looked well designed and had some eye catching decor. The waiter spoke English and was quite accommodating. My boyfriend and I both shared a dinner set, which included seafood, and a regular set. The food is cooked and served teppanyaki style and that’s where the experience turned extremely lackluster. The chefs had no expressions and seemed to have passion drained from their faces. It doesn’t really create an inviting mood for their patrons even though they were patient. The Kobe steaks weren’t as amazing as I had imagined walking into here too. Cooked well, texture is good, but not mind blowing experience. Even though this place is priced relatively lower than their competitors around the area, I would urge anyone to spend a little more money on their Kobe meal to have a better experience. I honestly felt as though I was participating in a tourist trap the entire time. *Also a note, you cannot share a dinner set without having your friend(s) order a la carte each or another set each.

Excellent Kobe steak lunch. The beef was so tender, and it just melted in my mouth. The service was quick and so enjoyable to watch. The set for lunch was so affordable with a cold water, a bowl of soup, a small plate of pickled vegetables, a bowl of hot rice, a bowl of salad and with stir fried beansprouts and vegetables and finally, the 150gm of Kobe beef cooked medium with pink and tasty centre. 😋 only set back at this place was the sticky oily floor but it's expected of the teppanyaki style cooking. The cooking in front of you was so enjoyable too. 😉

Its a tourist trap with enticingly low price. The meat is okay at best and its a shame considering that for a bit more you can get actually good kobe beef around the corner or two. The prep was nice and rare as ordered, likely because the rat chef from Ratatouille was prepping the meat. In all seriousness when we showed them the rat they just nodded their head and said "oo wow".

They allow walk-in and entertained us pretty well compared to Mouriya. Kobe tender was very soft, while Kobe beef had more texture. For more bite, I would recommend Wagyu. Octopus tentacle was too tough and salty.

This place is perfect if you want to try a real Kobe beef and don't want to break the bank. For 3,500Y you will get a set menu with 150g Kobe beef, rice, salad, miso soup and orange juice! The Kobe beef was awesome! Staff were friendly and helpful. Place was crowded. There were 20 groups ahead of us but it only take us around 25 minutes. So serve is pretty fast.

Suggest to go during lunch time as the price is cheaper.Kobe Steak is soft , tender and juicy ! The chefs are very friendly and skillful , so you know that your steak are in good hands. Place can get a bit smoky and oily cause the business is too good.

Reservations are recommended but when we went it wasn’t quite busy so easily found a table with no issues. The menu was straightforward and the food was prepared well. Definitely a great show and every bite was amazing. I prefer the Kobe steak over the Kobe Loin. But it’s all Preference. They are all juicy and a delicacy. Well worth the price for something for hard to find elsewhere. Make sure to eat the garlic chips!

Steak is so so, I ordered 11800 set. The soup is like water, salad vegetable is not crispy, nothing is up to standard. The chef assigned to me is so green, not able to deliver the food in good presentation.

It’s on the 6th floor. I queued for like 20 mins and ordered the Kobe beef tender steak lunch. It was quite good but not like wow. I think wygu is more my taste.

Reservations are recommended, but I arrived after lunch so the queue was shorter. I only spent less than 10 minutes before I was able to sit inside. The price is reasonable and good enough to try Kobe beef. I ordered their special Kobe beef set, which cost me around 6,300 yen. The set meal is worth the money. I’m also surprised that the rice and side dishes are unlimited refills. Additionally, one complimentary beverage—a choice of juice or coffee—is included. The Kobe beef melts in my mouth, and it's worth trying while in Kobe. I had a medium-rare, and it’s juicy and tender. It goes really well with the fried garlic and the sauce.

The great Tepanyaki-Steak that I ever ate!! Some people said a staff can't communicate in English, but I don't think so cause I was serviced by a good language staff. About a beef, it's actually Wagyu (my Tenderloin is so very very good). You'll be fun with a chef-style and be happy with a good steak. I recommend this place. And do not worry about payment, a price it's not so cruel.

The very best steak I have ever had, prepared by experts on a grill in front of you. Comes with lovely stir fried vegetables, soup and/or salads. Great lunch special. People start lining up before it opens at 11.00am.

The atmosphere is really western. I recommend going for lunch menu deal time (11:00 - 14:00). The beef served is good and melts in your mouth. The cooking style is teppanyaki, so be careful if you have a kid. The lunch menu set is included salad, 2 dipping sauce, miso soup, pickles, and drink (coffee or orange juice)

Was looking for a steak place and stumbled onto this one. We walked in and were shown to a table straight away. Service was efficient and quick. The food was nice too but I was expecting the steak to be less chewy. We got the recommended set which cost Y9,800 per person. You get a lot for this: - steak (pretty marbled) - salad and Japanese pickles - beef soup - stir fried veggies like beansprout, mushrooms, zucchini and some jelly like thing - rice - drink (I got orange juice and my partner got ice coffee)

FOOD : VERY GOOD! PLACE : Good! SERVICE : Good. TOILET : Clean. PRICE : Fair. This is my 2nd time eating in here, I always return here while Im in Kobe. I took lunch and waiting about 30 minutes (its not bad). Take the ticket in “The Machine Ticket” which located in front of the entrance door then go to the line. Wait till the Staff calling your number (sometimes with English but mostly in Japan). I took Kobe Set Lunch and it was “Perfect”. The Cheff cooked it perfect as I requested. In here all was served fast and nice. Just sit and enjoy “The Steak” : its Juicy and Tender. My opinion the price was “Fair Price” compares to others. So its a good place for Group, Family and Couple. You need to try eating here, dont miss this when you are in Kobe/Kansai Area.

Great place for Japan Kobe beef. Located near the sannomiya station where you can find many grades of Kobe beef and restaurants. Walking down the street you will see steakland adverts everywhere. They offer you set meal which is value for money if you want to just try Kobe beef. It's done teppanyanki style. Of course there are many options. You can choose very high grade beef as well. The decor within the establishment is also nice and has a mid century American vibe to it.

Not worth the price The vegetables are not well cooked nor seasoned properly Steak depends on the level, normal tender meat is no good. Have to order kobe steak will you get something, but it costs 6000 yen But I did not feel anything special compared to other steakhouse The seat is crowded, very smokey environment Not a very pleasant experience

Excellent beef at reasonable prices. One of my favourite places to eat Kobe Beef. Chefs speak English which is great. Can get really crowded during the weekends.

  • 4/5 Van B. 10 months ago on Google
Affordable. Teppanyaki style, the cook will cook and cut your steak set in fromt of you and serve it to you. Recommend the "normal" steak / tender steak set for lunch. The Kobe set which costs almost double doesn't seem worth it for me. Looks like a tourist place due to the price range.

It was a great meal with many unique and various flavors, and the staff was super kind and helpful. I'm a student, so even though it was expensive it was a nice, quick Kobe experience.

Ordered Kobe Beef Set. Juicy and tender. It comes with 150gr kobe beef, assorted stir fry vegetables, salad, miso soup, rice and choice of coffee/tea/orange juice. Mineral water is free flow.

This place is busy. We waited about half an hour and that was a short wait as there were lots of people that arrive after us. I’d suggest making reservation if you can. The place is quite big but doesn’t look like it had enough staff to fill all the seats in the restaurant. The food and meat was really tasty and tender. I’d suggest paying extra for the upgraded beef. Presentation isn’t great on the plate but the taste is more important,

注文/order: 神戸テンダーステーキ/Kobe tender steak 値段/price: 4500円/yen It was very good and a very popular restaurant. I had to queue 30 mins when I arrive at 11:15am. So, it's best to come eat at off-peak hours. They have lunch sets ranging from 1200 to 4500yen options and I opted for the most expensive one (definitely the most worth it one too). My sister had the Kobe steak (3500yen), and both of us agreed that it is definitely better to pay 1000 yen extra for the tender option. I would definitely recommend this place to try out Kobe beef.

Top notch beef. I've never tried Kobe beef before coming here and it changed my life.

  • 3/5 Ruben R. 1 year ago on Google
Food is below par for the price you pay. The steak wasn't that special and the salad looked old so that's why they put a dressing over it. The staff isn't that friendly and the place is kinda dirty. Wouldn't visit it for the price. I rather pay more for a friendly environment.

The ¥3500 150g Kobe beef set meal is delicious. Soft and succulent, juicy and flavourful. A great Kobe beef swimming in your mouth. Simply wonderful.

  • 5/5 Jennifer C. 4 years ago on Google
Drumroll...my first Kobe beef experience! and this was a place that did not disappoint (for its price range) I went for the lunch special which was like half of how much the dinner menu cost. They do it Teppanyaki style in front of you, so you can see the chef melting the butter first (yes, the smell permeates the room and you’re like drooling) and pan frying that fine piece of Kobe steak. They do it just for a couple minutes, ensuring it’s the correct tenderness level you want. I went for medium rare but I actually enjoyed my mom’s medium a lot more. Reason is Kobe steak itself will still be tender and soft at medium, and having it cook longer brings out the flavor of its juice and fat. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!

Great quality with small price. Lunch time is until 14.00. I got queue at 13.00 and wait for 45 mins for table. The day I came, queue closed around 13.45. Try kobe set which 3500 per set. You may ask for more rice for free.

Kobe Steak is cheap if you have lunch Great atmosphere There are many seats that don't have to wait long. There is a chef to show you how to cook. Along with explaining how to eat Overall, very impressed.
