Great place, nice and clean. Plenty do to. Long countryside walks. Has a zoo there with variety of animals. Perfect place to take plenty of pictures with the family as they have many nice scenery places to take great pictures. So peaceful to walk along the lakes and hearing the sounds of fresh water downfalls. My stand out feature was the upside down house never seen anything like it I truly enjoyed that, also the staff were great took many pictures for me. I even got to hold some parrots and the owner took pictures for me what a great guy

I wanted to see this place earlier as I felt it is different as a must see for nature lovers and I was right. It was super nice, free entry. You can spend some time, unfortunately I didn’t have a plenty of time to explore all of it but got the vibe. Too many options for taking photos. I liked the houses of dwarfs 😁 it closes at 5 pm. There are toilets but didn’t try it.

A beautiful nature park with zoo animals and walking trails. You can spend the whole day inside. The children will love it. It's very well taken care of, and there's no place like it nearby. Free to enter, but you need to pay a small fee to park. The park is mostly a forest so you should bring a jacket with you.

Great for forest walk if you want to get away from the city. The hobbit houses are a little exaggerated, but overall we had a good experience just walking around and refreshing. It’s not too far from Istanbul (took us a little over an hour by car to get there).

a great place to visit. parking is 10 Tl per car and entrance is free. hasanice zoo and lots of walking and hiking routes in spectacular nature. bring your sportswear and prepare to get muddy shoes. a nice collection of animals and has a nice meatball restaurant. good for family trips. can easily spend 2 to 3 hours here

It has great nature and environment. The children zoo and the hobbit houses were my main things to show my kid. The rest is a large parkour. It was worth to visit Ormanya all the way from Istanbul. Definetly recommended.

This place is the beauty of nature. Especially for children, you can find lots of facilities such as a library made of wood, a little zoo, and also hobbit houses. You can bring your food or order a meal in the restaurant. There are also roads to walk, run or cycle. Enjoy your weekend by yourself or your family!

Wir waren an einem Dienstag Mittag da, der Park war besucht aber nicht überfüllt. Parkplatz direkt neben dem Park für 30 Lira. Ansonsten kostet der Park nichts. Was ich tatsächlich bemerkenswert finde, da hier viel zu sehen ist. Mit Kinderwagen konnten wir alles gut erreichen. Der Park ist riesig sodass man hier viel läuft. Toiletten waren Sauber und genügend da. Auch Wickelmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden Der Park ist beschildert und das auch überall um die Orientierung zu behalten. Es gibt viele Tiere: Esel, Ziegen, Affen, Geier, Zebras, sogar Kängurus. Den Tieren ging es gut, sie wurden von den Pflegern gefüttert und der Stall wurde gereinigt. Wirklich traumhafte Natur. Zudem hat der Park viele schöne Sitzmöglichkeiten zum Picknicken. Was ich hier auch empfehle. Denn der Park ist riesig. Aber auch ein Restaurant mit direktem schattigen tollen Spielplatz gibt es da. Was ich außerdem sehr freundlich finde ist, dass es alle paar Meter einen kleinen Trinkbrunnen gibt, um etwas Wasser zu trinken, falls man möchte. Um alles zu erkunden, sollte man mindestens 5 - 6 Stunden einplanen. Vorort kann man Mountainbikes ausleihen um den Park mit dem Fahrrad zu erkunden. Die kleinen Hobbit Häuser sind sehr süß gestaltet. Ein kleiner Dorf mit Teich. Sehr detailreich und hübsch gemacht. Als Fazit kann ich jedem empfehlen den Park zu besuchen, auch jene, die keine Kinder haben, werden einen schönen Tag im Ormanya haben. Der Park ist einfach sehr toll aufgebaut und wirklich freundlich gestaltet. Ich finde es immer noch beeindruckend, dass hier kein Eintritt verlangt wird, für das was man im Ormanya sehen kann.

Hobbit House , very nice cozy place to visit with the family,, you need at least 2 hours to spend there,, enjoyed the walk in the forest. Free entrance.

I loved this place, suitable for family and children, they have a small zoo, not all kind of animals but nice collections. There are different activities like sound of jungle, small village, deers jungle.

Amazing, specially being free. As a biologist it really stood out how well taken care the animals are. I just think they could put some more signs inside.

Camping area is a little bit small but visiting area is magnificent. A bicycle rental service is also available.

Very nice and lush forest park, got different types of animals especially deers, very nice place to walk and have a fresh air. Great for walking exercise or jogging,but can be crowded especially in weekends. Totally advice visiting it.

What an amazing place to visit.. the garden/forest reserve has so many sections, it has a small zoo, cafes beautiful walkways.. unfortunately it rained while we were there. Try to check the weather before you go

Exceptionally beautiful forest area, rather busy with lost of people for picnic at the weekends. Several recreation are including super min ponds, bird observation zone, and most liked hobbit houses... If you have some time, should definitely see... There is large parking lot where you can park easily. Otherwise you can also take local buses to city centre.. Takes about 20 minutes from izmit east end

This is a place that takes your breath. It contains few amazing places such as insect house, up-down house, an amazing children's zoo, a huge forest, and Hobbits houses.

It is great to be in nature. Red track is the longest one in the park. This is 8.5 km long track but it follows a rugged terrain, so get prepared.

A view merges Kartepe Mountain with Sapanca Lake , where you going to have a lot of fresh air with magneficient view

Nice place to go and see, but it is very crowded at evening, specially the tiny village, which you could not take a picture with them.

Highly recommend to visit this park and enjoy the views as well as the greenery.

My wife loved the place so much... we did enjoy the time .. even there is not alot of animals ... but the place is very wide and good for family with kids too..
