I’ll say right away that we were very lucky with our guide! Mikhail is an excellent tour guide! And he recites poetry very sensually. Without a tour, the museum will be incomprehensible. So I recommend taking a tour, especially since the prices are quite reasonable, even more than that.

An iconic place for the cultural life of Kolomna. Passionate people have preserved and increased the heritage that has not been destroyed by time. I did not regret the time or money spent on an individual excursion! I recommend visiting!

A very interesting exhibition about the most famous writer of Kolomna. The staff is knowledgeable, polite and hospitable. It’s just a pity that there is no bookstore or at least a stand - I wouldn’t mind buying a biography of Lazhechnikov or the history of his family home.

Here you can plunge into the world of the Kolomna merchants of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. You need to take a tour; anyone can afford it (inexpensive). Much will become clear from the story. There are not many exhibits, there are even fewer genuine items of the Lazhechnikov family (most of them have not survived), but the atmosphere in the house has been perfectly recreated, the impression is very good. Worth a visit.
