Chong Buri is also known as Mueang Chon which is an agricultural site of economic plants such as rubber trees and sugar cane. The words Chong Buri literally means the city of water with a population of more than 1,000,000. People who want to seek adventure in the unknown territory, Chong Buri is one of the best tourist places in Thailand. Best Time To Visit: Between November and April Tourist Attractions: Buddha Mountain (Khao Chi Chan) Location: Bangkok, Thailand Things To Do: Scuba diving, Jet-skiing, shopping, elephant show Ideal Duration: 2-3 Days Places To Visit: Wat Chai Mongkon, Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden How To Reach: You can reach by cab or taxis and you must hire a metered taxi as taxi drivers tend to cheat.

The place is big. To those who want to visit the place you have a lot of area to park your car. There are good restaurants at the back of the temple about 5 min walk.

They hold a bi-annual fair. Mainly shops selling a mishmash of clutter. However, if you're passing, it's worth a walk through.

A beautiful Temple to visit. Once there you feel like you are in a spiritual place. Quite, colorful, with stands to buy flowers and other items for offering. Always busy with visitors but you will surely find a place to relax, be quite and still and reflect. On the grounds of the temple there are various little food shops but the best I tried is the little shop with the fish noodles. Not far from either Pattaya or Rayong a must triple to visit.
