I haven't been inside but it is a very beautiful building from outside. Very good preserved. All the market Street around this mosque is an old business neighborhood. There are malls from couple of hundred years ago still in use and functional. Behind this neighbourhood starts the area for labours and utilities for such people. Seems like it was the end of the old town center.

A beautiful small mosque which is just 300 ms away from Rumi’s tomb. Has very different minarets which you dont find nirmally in Turkey. It has a beautiful and decorated interior which is well preserved. The mosque was built in 1670’s was however burnt and reconstructed later in 1870’s. A wonderful example of Rocco styled construction. Worth a quick visit.

Inside Konya's bustling bazaar neighborhood, the Aziziye Mosque is one for architecture fans. It was first built in 1676 by the Ottoman court adviser Mustafa Pasa and reconstructed again in 1867 after a fire. Because of this 19th-century restoration, the mosque's architecture is heavily Baroque-inspired (the style most fashionable at the time), with twin minarets in Rococo style and a brightly painted interior with a Rococo prayer niche. This very European decorative style makes for an interesting contrast with traditional mosque design.

One of the most underrated mosques in Turkey. First built in 16-17th century and then rebuilded by Sultan Abdülaziz in the second half of 19th century. Both interior and exterior engravings present rare examples of Baroque-style design, which makes it unique among mosques.

A 19th century Ottoman mosque blending different styles of architecture. The mosque has very large windows and many Neoclassical features, making it lighter and more airy than many other mosques in Turkey. It is a peaceful and beautiful place.

The architecture of this mosque is very nice and the details are so good to appreciate. This is a free place to visit for tourists, of course you have to respect the place and the people praying. It’s within the market so definitely stop and check it.

This old mosque has some really neat features to it. If you are walking by stop and take a picture but probably not worth an extra trip.

A different but amazing style of mosque enriched with multiple sights specially in sunny days. Its minarets are increasing the worth of this mosque and its entrance door is also mind blowing.

The Pertevniyal mosque in Istanbul was built in this way, from the Ottoman baroque architectural works, in the same way. it represents a more baroque view than the usual mosque image. Close to Mevlana museo
