An old historical Mosque that is near to the famous Mevlana Museum. This mosque had been closed for a long time due to refurbishment and restoration. It has recently been open for general public to visit and hosts five public calls to prayer every day.

Wonderful mosque right next to Rumi's museum. You can easily skip this place but don't. It is an immaculate mosque where you will be at peace and have your worries wiped away. Spent some time reflecting on innerself and offered prayers. The beautiful architecture and arts on the wall will capture your minds

An Ottoman era mosque on the main square of Konya. The mosque is a classic Ottoman mosque, and well laid out inside. The interior decorations are beautiful, and although the mosque is well-frequented, it doesn’t generally feel too crowded. There are free Qur’an’s in different languages and other Islamic literature for people to read also.

İ was lucky to spend a ramazan evening at the square in front of the mosque. Place was full with people, families came down for the first meal after day of fasting. They were sitting on carpets they brought with and putting out various homemade dishes. After the call for prayer the whole square started to eat at the same time. Good place to share an old local tradition.

Very beautiful mosque, not inferior in beauty to the great mosques in istanbul.. Highly recommended to visit.

Beautiful interior and exterior, ladies area is to the side rather than upstairs. This made it harder to appreciate the artistry of the mosque's interior. There is also a separate door to the side for ladies only, look for the signs!

My wife and I had Asr and Maghrib prayers at this mosque. The mosque is very beautiful. Great ottoman architecture. This mosque is right beside the Mevlana museum.

Beautiful mosque, pray there when you visit the museum, do not pray in museum

Good mosque if you want to visit and pray. They offer plastic bags for your shoes so you can enter without stepping the carpet inside. You have to also buy tickets to enter

This Mosque was within walking distance to our hotel and an absolutely amazing place to visit and perform prayers. They provides facilities for both Men and Women and have a great outdoor courtyard where you can sit and enjoy the world whizz by.

It is right opposite to Mevlana Tomb. It’s very central and has a perfect architecture. The spiritual air is all around this mosque. A must in Konya
