I've just stayed here for two weeks. This is a very pleasant hotel to stay in, and a great change from the rather characterless standard hotel. The room was large and clean, the bed comfortable, the breakfast had a great choice available, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. I loved how I felt restored by the atmosphere of the hotel after arriving back from a long day in Konya.

Nothing but 10! From checking in to checking out. Helping finding a guide to walk us in the steps of Mevlana and the heritage of the sufis in Konya and surrounding. Satisfying breakfast. Clean. Friendly. Thanks you!

We always try and choose hotels with a combination of character and comfort - it's the character that makes them memorable. And the Konya Dervish Hotel is a perfect example of a hotel with lots of character - converted from a 200-year old house in the centre of the city. It's owner, Momed, provides fantastic personal service and arranged for his brother, Mehmet, to take us to Catalhoyuk. Everything about the hotel is perfect - the rooms are large, comfortable and quiet, the garden is relaxing and the breakfast is lavish with plenty of variety and fresh, local produce. The owner is helpful, polite, knowledgeable and kind - he even provided us with a package of fruit for the journey back to Istanbul. The hotel is superb value and is absolutely spotlessly clean. Mehmet is a well-known carpet dealer in the area and has a fantastic stock of kilims to suit all requirements and even designs and produces his own kilims using natural dyes and local weavers. We were very pleased to deal with someone so knowledgeable and utterly trustworthy. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Konya and would also recommend Mehmet to anyone looking for transport out to Catalhoyuk or who is interested in buying a kilim at a reasonable price. Our trip was made so much more enjoyable by getting to know the hotel's owner and his brother. Please visit Konya which is a lively city with a fantastic history and if you do, you won't find anywhere better to stay that the Konya Dervish Hotel.

Wonderful hotel, very close to Moulana museum and a short walk to Shams Tabrizi mausoleum. Wifi worked great throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety. The owner is friendly and offered great suggestions. Don't miss looking at/buying the vintage carpets he sells in his store within the hotel compound. Absolutely gorgeous carpets and rugs.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Konya Dervish Hotel and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. The hotel, which is a beautifully restored 200-year-old Ottoman house, is located in the heart of Konya, just a stone's throw away from the iconic Melwana Museum, which is a must-visit attraction for anyone interested in the history of Rumi and the Whirling Dervishes. One of the best things about staying at the Konya Dervish Hotel is the warm and welcoming hospitality of the staff, especially Mr. Mehmet. He went out of his way to make sure that my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. His friendly and supportive nature made me feel right at home, and I was able to make the most of my time in Konya with his helpful guidance. The hotel itself is cozy and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The traditional decor and furnishings add to the charm of the hotel, and the fact that it's housed in a 200-year-old Ottoman house adds to the overall experience. Overall, I would highly recommend the Konya Dervish Hotel to anyone visiting Konya. Its ideal location, proximity to the Melwana Museum, and the exceptional hospitality of Mr. Mehmet make it the perfect base for exploring the city and experiencing the warmth and beauty of Turkish culture.

Very authentic, central and clean. Very kind as well. Too bad breakfast is not taken in the garden, but apart from that small detail we really enjoyed our stay !

My wife and I agree that Konya Dervish Hotel was our favorite stay during a two-week trip in Turkey. Owned by two brothers who both speak excellent English, the place felt warm from the moment we arrived. The spacious room had homey touches. The breakfast spread was a work of art. And the manager could not have been nicer, making us a reservation at an incredible nearby restaurant and guiding us beyond the nearby sights to a local fruit bizarre. Highly recommended!

A lovely hotel with good location. For clean and wide rooms. The owner is a very nice and helpful man. The vision of the hotel deserves to be praised, to keep such places available in the land of Mevlana and dervishes.

I stayed here for 2 nights and the location is perfect for visiting the Mevlânâ Museum and local restaurants. The hotel is a converted Ottoman House built around 150 years ago and you get the sense of what it was like living there. The owner Muammer is a perfect host and the information he provided both in Konya and the surrounding areas was invaluable, also had some good conversations about everything Turkey. Would recommend this hotel if staying in Konya.

The Konya Dervish Hotel is a charming and fascinating place to stay. The design, furnishings and decorations are delightful. It is very clean and comfortable. The manager Muammer is a true gentleman, and his oversight of the hotel is superb. The location is very close to the Mevlana Rumi Mausoleum, the Selimiye Mosque, and high quality local restaurants.

5 * all the way through. This place was recommended for it's traditional feel, location and hospitality. Although everyone is hospitable in konya but the owner Muammer goes one step further. He was in touch with us before arrival, advising the cheapest but but quality services. As we arrived he was waiting at the gate and took us straight to eat from the buffet as we were tired after long journey. This was on the house. He made time to show telling us best places to eat and shop. All were fabulous suggestions. Location is 5 min walk to Rumi and 10 min to city centre. Surrounded by lovely places to eat within 10 - 15 min walk Very clean rooms filled with character. I loved the traditional carpets around the property. Not to forget the peaceful grden where we relaxed as our room was being prepared. The owner made us warm lemon drink as I was feeling bit under the weather. This place is family run business and should be supported due for all above reasons. Will come again when visiting Konya.

Why you should come here: Location: 5 min walk to Mevlana hotel. 15 min walk to Aladdin Meydan (city centre) Minibuses called Dolmeces come here every 10 minutes as well so it’s a convenient location for public transport. Hospitality: the place is family owned and the owner is very friendly and willing to help. Breakfast buffet: the buffet has a enormous selection of food and I believe that it is also vegan friendly as well, as there was many fruits, as well as tahini and assortments of jams and even dried figs in oil. If you’re a vegan that is okay with honey, the tahini and honey on bread was to die for. Cleanliness: a very clean hotel. Has books on Sufism and Rumi as well!! This was an amazing hotel. Located 2-5 minute walk from Mevlana Museum. The location is safe as well. Not a busy street but very close to shops and the city, with only 5 minute walk. The result is that it’s a very calm place. This hotel is the last place in Konya with a garden! The hotel itself is like a cultural experience because it is very traditional. I think it would be a lot better to come here than to a normal, modern hotel that you can find anywhere else in the world. When I went to the hotel, it felt like home and the owner was very warm like family. Sitting in the garden, it’s very peaceful compared to the busy city centre, with birds and butterflies and bees. The hospitality is impressive. When I arrive they immediately gave me a map and recommended a nearby restaurant. Also because I was sick, the owner made me a lemon drink as well. It’s a family owned place, so please come and support local small businesses!
