Nice small Hotel in the heart of Cappadoccia, perfect service, awesome breakfast, fair price, and the owner, Ertan, is extra-ordinary helpful with tips and as a tour guide has a tremendous knowledge about the cultural and historical background of the region - we would gladly come again!

It was my first time visiting Cappadocia, Honestly, i was worried about where to stay as I know the area hotels are kinds different styles and boutiques generally. I came yesterday in the evening, and Ansari was there to welcome and initiate me through everything, i am gonna admit that the guy is very decent & supportive and has a great attitude. Even the owner Irtan called Ansari on the phone and told him to give me the phone so that he could talk to me, we spoke like 7 minutes, he is smart, friendly & very helpful for every detail matter, and he mentioned that we are a family overall. The breakfast surprisingly was awesome and homemade. Cheers to that group of people working here. it's a few places i can give 5 stars, this will be one of them.

Phenomenal experience overall. The staff and service were all fantastic - very attentive and friendly. The owner (Ertan) was incredible and seemed to think about every little detail. The grounds were beautiful while the room was an excellent combination of rustic charm with modern amenities. Breakfast everyday was delicious . Amazing food and an insane cheese selection. Add to all of that the fact that it’s a 10 minute drive to beautiful attractions in the heart of Kapadokya and I don’t think you can ask for much more! Highly recommend staying here.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Mr Ertan (the owner) and his team go out of their way to make your experience enjoyable. We were in the room with the spa and wonderful decor, and a great painting of horses above the bed making the ambience in the room amazing. Highly recommend a stay at The Red Horse.

Lovely hotel with spacious, comfortable room and bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful at all moments. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. Location was good in Urgup, walking distance to center of town. Ertan, the owner, helped us arranging transfer from and to airport, suggesting good restaurants, and most exciting served us as a personal tour guide to show us all the interesting places in Cappadocia, from historic sites to elegant rug, pottery and jewelry shops. His vast knowledge of the country history, taking us to the most important sites and wherever else we wanted to see, and his stepping out-of-the-way to help without been asked (one person of the group was using a scooter/wheelchair), made this trip unforgettable.

This is a lovely elegant/rustic hotel with a wonderful staff. The breakfast was delicious, generous and well presented. The host and owner Ertan who is a trained guide personally showed us the sites of the Cappadocia area.

The Red Horse Hotel is incredibly cute and extremely gracious.  The design and architecture feels like a different time in history.  Vines and flowers adorn the sandstone blocks.  The owner Ertan treated us like family offering everything we could need and evev to shop for more.  Room had a jacuzzi, fridge, blowdryer with diffuser. hot water kettle, and was always well stocked with water.  Wifi is strong. Breakfasts on the patio were amazing!  Bread, jams, cheese board, veggies and omelets. Towels were all large and soft.  No issues with the rain shower head or towel warmer!   The quiet location was perfect and less than 5 min walk to town center.  And sound blocking outer door let us sleep in. We asked for a fan and they gave us one.  And laundry was very reasonable at 200TL per bag.  Ertan lived in the US for 11 years so he speaks very good English and was always around.  Our room did not have AC but it was not needed in October.  Other rooms most likely have it.   It was nice having a true queen size bed instead of 2 doubles pushed together like at other hotels, though it was a firm mattress.  Loved our time there!

The red Horse Hotel made our Cappadocia holiday perfect and unique , it made us have a great time with its host and friendly staff . Mr. Ertan and his staff will host you at least as nice as Cappadocia. The comfort and warmth of the hotel rooms, as well as the breakfast, did not look for an alternative to us. Its proximity to all the touristic places and terrific delicious restaurants provided a great advantage.
