A nice little tower for a good viewpoint of Khao Khanab Nam, the river and a bit of Krabi Town. The atmosphere is calming. I would recommend to visit in the morning or late afternoon as it can be quite hot up there with the bright sun. Yet to visit again to checkout either the sunrise or the sunset.

Nice walk trough the mangroves and to the watch tower. Unfortunately currently there is not much water, so the mangroves are not covered. But still, nice walk. On the way to the tower no monkeys were there - on our way back they suddenly appeared out of nowhere… They left us alone, but the guys after us were not that lucky. So maybe have a stick to grab, than they normally ignore you.

Walk in only 100 meters from the main road, you will see a bridge.

A big jungle near the city by the Krabi River, a short but a very nice, bit spooky for people who are not used to the vegetation around. Coming from the Himalayan mountains, where the vegetation is so different, this kind of vegetation is intriguing as well as it looked bit spooky. Luckily there were no insects or animals around, walking alone would have been more spookier. Anyway it was a real enjoyable short walk and an special experience.

Great view. And the way to get there is cool too. If you continue on the path you can take a boat to access a pretty cool cave on the other side of the river

Nice view, little walk was calming too. However, insect repellent spray should be applied every time. Were the only ones there.

Nice observation tower combined with a short walk through the mangroves. Quiet atmosphere. No entry. Definitely worth a visit!

A good look out point to get an overview of the area though nothing really spectacular to see. Was only a couple of other people up there when I arrived. Nice gentle cooling breeze coming off the river. Costs nothing so if you're in the area and have a bit of time to kill it's worth a visit.

I went early in the morning and it was sunny all thr way through the tower. The views are great. The sounds are peaceful. Views over trees are mesmerizing.

And as location you come here from the mangrove forest, not by Google map which leads you to a private sector.

Beautiful, really liked it, these structures exist quite a lot in Thailand and they are so good for catching the view.

9 flights of 8-9 steps for a view of the surroundings, it's worth it
