This restaurant is off the tourist trail. Hidden gem! Frequented mostly by locals. They have menus with pictures. We were so hungry that we forgotten to take photos except for this salad. Very interesting and yummy salad. The main ingredient is longkong. A seasonal fruit found mostly in South East Asia.

We had diner here twice during our trip to Krabi. Food is amazing! Very authentic, tasty and fresh ingredients. The deep fried pork leg is a MUST! Thai milk tea is also super good. Staffs are very nice! Highly recommended!

They have a great selection of local dishes, but we ordered gaeng som with coconut shoot (southern Thai dish), stir-fried squid with sauce, and pineapple fried rice. Everything came in big portions, more than enough for 2 people!

We were told that ruen thip was one of the two best Thai restaurants near ao nang. Been to many thai quality restaurants and this was not one of them. My tea tasted like pure sugar with ice. The staff was rude and food was at best was just ok. Too many people inside and too hot inside. If you don't speak any thai good luck at this place very disappointed.

I was invited to this restaurant by Thai friends and really liked all the food. We ordered glass noodle salad with fish, deep fried prawns in garlic and pepper, Panang chicken curry, pork neck and Tom Ka Gai ( chicken soup with galangal and coconut milk). I especially loved the Panang curry and soup. The staff is friendly, the service was fast, the atmosphere is great. It wasn’t too busy when I went , but it started to get crowded around 7:30 pm.
