Such a great and painless visa extension experience. I went as soon as they opened to avoid long lines and wait time but there was literally no one else there. It costs 1,900baht for a 30 day extension and took about 10 minutes in total. You will need a photocopy of your passport info page, a photocopy of the original visa stamps in your passport, a passport sized picture of yourself and of course your passport. Highly recommend getting done here if you’re around the area as I can’t imagine the office in Bangkok is as friendly and welcoming as the one here

Super organized, friendly, fast, professional! Only 30 minutes waiting time. Rarely have I had such a pleasant experience at the office. The employees spoke English well and everyone was helped immediately to provide the necessary documents. I came on Monday at 8:20 and was already done with everything at 8:50. There were already about 20 people there. Please bring with you: passport, cash 1900Baht for the extension, passport photo and copy of the visa stamp (photo and copy can also be made on site for a small fee). Note: The visa extension can also take place a few weeks before the visa expires.

We came here around lunch time and we waited for around one hour or more. I guess that's not the best time to come. They have an efficient process. Head straight to the electronic machine for a queue number. They will announce your number and all you have to do is show your passport, show the address of your Krabi accommodation. They'll photocopy your passport and take your picture. Next sign some printed forms and wait until they stamp your passport for another 30 days stay. We paid 2,000 Baht each because of the photocopy and the pictures. Normally, it costs 1,900 Baht for the visa extension for another 30 days.

Kind people, very helpful. The process it’s quite quick. For visa extension be sure that you have 1 copy of your visa 1 copy of your passport 1 photo card Copy’s cost 20 THB here, but if you search around there is the copy shop that charge you 1 THB for copy They are open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

The office is a bit out of town. When we arrived nobody else was there and we started the visa express right away. We didn’t have any photos and we were happily charged 100THB to take them. 10 minutes later we were outside already. The process was very fast and the lady was very friendly and spoke great English. I wish all bureaucratic processes were this easy. Smooth as silk!

I was in and out in about 10 mins for 60 day covid extension, however…! I was charged 3000b instead of 1900 like everyone claimed I would be! The officer sad that I can do 15 day conservation extension (whatever that means…) for 1900b and come back to same office in 45 day for free of charge stamp or I can pay 3000b and get expedited stamp right now! I couldn’t afford to interrupt all my planes because I won’t be in Krabi for that long so I paid 3000b and got it right away… I’m not sure but I think I might have got scammed because on first 30 day extension I got a receipt for the fee I paid but here I got nothing! Just a stamp with a exit date… only reason I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1 is because it was very fast and somewhat friendly…

Great little place, we previously had an awful experience in Bangkok immigration and this was so, so much easier. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very quick 40 minutes in and out. We do have to return 15 days after the end of our visa as our covid extension is under consideration. However you can pay 3000bhat each to get the 60 days immediately

In and out in less than 10 minutes for my visa extension. They even filled out the form for me and I just had to sign. They also took my photo and made photocopies then and there. Very easy and convenient.

4 Jan 2022: Extended our visas for 30 days yesterday. We came at the busiest day and hour too, as they only opened yesterday (after a Christmas break). However, we were surprised with their effectiveness, organisation and service provided. It took us about 45 min (getting a visa for 4ppl at their busiest hour). We forgot to make the copies, so they copied our passports, visa pages and white small blue&white papers for 20thb per person. We didn’t have to fill any form, they just asked us to give them our address and phone number and that was it. They prepared all needed documentation electronically and we just had to sign final form. The best immigration place we ever arrived to. 18 Jan 2022: Came second time in order to get covid visa (60 more days after first extension). Comparing to our first experience, this one wasn’t smooth at all. One of the worst experiences this time! We came at 11 and we were sent “to grab a coffee” because it’s been very crowded and we were asked to come again at 2pm. That’s three hours difference! - we’ve travelled to Krabi by a scooter from ko lanta so we weren’t happy about that. They said they were sorry but it didn’t make the process anyhow faster. Have been waiting there pretty long to get our stamp…. at 14;38 they called two numbers ahead of us… when we got to line at 15;00 they told us we were waiting in the wrong line - idk why the person who knew we wanted covid visa didn’t say anything and gave us a wrong number!!! soo whole day spent at immigration with two hours of driving ahead of us - yay, exciting!! not the smooth yet fast experience this time. The front ladies should improve their English in order to not make people waiting for 4 hours for nothing!!!

Probably the best Thai immigration center in the world. The staff is efficient, friendly and helpful. It’s also well situated close to the pier. Come well prepared with all documents and you will be done in less than 30 min if your lucky with the cue.

Wow! We came 15 minutes after opening. We were the only one there. Staff greeted us and took action immediately! We wanted to extend our two month visa with one more month. *Passport with arrival receipt *Visa *Hotel adress were we stay *Mobile number, preferably Thai number *Photo, if you don't have one they take one for 100 Bath with their computer They fixed photo copies, they typed in all information direct in computer, you sign documents, pay 1900 bath, done. All in all it took 7 minutes! This Immigration is a dream! Thanks!

Very quick & efficient! YOU DO NOT NEED ALL THE PHOTOCOPIES & PHOTOS THAT EVERYONE TELLS YOU HERE!! For 100 baht they will take your photo & do the photocopying for you! So, the 100 baht change from the 2,000 baht you give them for the visa extension (1,900 baht) is used on that .. simple! You COULD write down your Thai address & your telephone number on a piece of paper, that WILL save some time. Lunch is 12pm-1pm for ALL staff, so office literally closes. Check it’s not a Monday public holiday also. (taken from 6 years of experience doing this .. you’re welcome!)

Wow! I wish all countries immigration experiences were like this. My family of 7 wanted to extend our visas today so we headed to the immigration office. We were greeted with smiles by the nicest people ever. It took us longer to get there from Ao Nang than it did to do all the paperwork necessary for all 7 of us. We went with just our passports and exit cards and they did everything else for us. Start to finish it took under 30 minutes and we were out and back on the road. All they wanted was the name and address of our accommodation and we signed to places each and that was it. Oh and of course you have to pay them. Cash only so come prepared. Total was thb2000 each including pictures and photocopies.

Really friendly staff, we visited to extend our visa for another 30 days and was in and out in hyderabad 10 minutes. The staff helped with our paperwork and were even able to take the required passport photo for us for 100 baht each (easier than trying to find a passport photo booth). Highly recommended if needing to deal with visa issues whilst in or near Krabi

For me the best immigration Office in TH. Since over one year no problems. Staff very professional and helpful. Warm welcome guaranteed. So i ask a lot the last month and they give me always the best solutions. So if you have questions ask the staff. They treat you with a lot of respect as usual in Thailand. I can highly recommend it. Thx

Visited at 12 got told everyone would be on break until 1. It was short and kind of grumpy but no issue. May be a language barrier. No biggie. Waited until 1. Asked for the prof of residency documents. Clarified twice the documents even referenced the documentation number on their website. They said that's what they were doing. Half way through we realized they were doing Visa extension. They got angry when we tried to re explain. They then accused us of not telling them. They wouldn't help us after that. Similar treatment to the guy behind us. He had a stutter so they just sent him away....

Fantastic! All the staff spoke great English, and they were brilliant. Within 20 minutes we left with our visas renewed. Well done! No cards are accepted or any other currency.

This is the best immigration office in Thailand so far. One year ago we were in Chiang Mai, but I can't compare these two offices. Krabi office is something else. Everything was prepared, and the officers were very nice, professional, and very, very fast. We came around 9 am and left at 09:20. It took only 20 minutes to get visas and 5 people were before us. Don't forget to bring: 1. 1900bath per person 2. Passport 3. Copy of passport 4. copy of the passport page which contains the visa stamp 5. Photo - passport format However, if you forget copies or photos, then they can help you to get them.

The evening before, I spontaneously decided to extend my visa again for 30 days. I just went there in the morning with my passport and a passport photo of myself and it took less than 20 minutes and the process was already over. If you don't have a passport photo with you, you can take one on site, it costs 100 THB extra. The visa extension cost 1,900 THB. One star deducted because unfortunately no card payment is possible, which is unfortunately what I assumed. Then I had to go back and get cash.
