Raised concrete boardwalk over mangroves. Beware monkeys are NOT friendly here. I've been growled at a few times. This is a quiet, couple hundred meter walk through the shady mangroves on Krabi River. At the end is a small pier that is used to temporarily dock small boats and for fishing. Besides the monkeys, this is a safe place to walk alone during daylight.

Nice walk in the Urban Forest Park in the Mangrove Forest, with a peaceful environments full of trees and wildlife. It is connected to the place to take the boat across the river to Khao Khanab Nam.

A beautiful way to experience the mangroves for free A lot of care and protection went into this experience . There's a bunch of little critters running around in the mud! Especially during low tide you can see the crabs and mudskippers

Free boardwalk down to the river with nice views and some good birding. You can take a boat across to the caves for 100 baht round trip.

A free to access concrete boardwalk through the mangroves ending up at the river near to Khao Kanab Nam. The whole walk is around 40 mins both ways and is a nice distraction from the hustle and bustle of Krabi Town. Recommend to do the walk in the early morning or late afternoon as it can get quite hot and humid during the middle of the day. Apparently it is possible to visit the caves at Khao Kanab Nam from here by taking a short boat trip across the river for 100 Baht although there was no evidence of that service when I did the walk.

Markets along the way a great adventure you can also get a watertaxi across to the cave. Climb the tower to view the townsite and valley! 2km hike from Krabi River Hotel easy folks! Except for those who cannot handle heat and stairs for the tower (optional) do bring water!

Nice mangrove walk but not much interesting just mangrove trees and it only takes like 15min to walk to the end. Same way back.

Very beautiful walk through the urban mangrove forest. Worth checking out if you are in Krabi town. There is also a lookout tower which gives you great views overlooking the mangroves and krabi town.

It is a short walk through the forest. A great choice if you dont want to pay for a boat or to find some time alone in nature. At the end, there are boat drivers waiting and trying to sell you a trip. That was annoying. Also take a few minutes to enjoy the view from the small tower along the way.

Great little mangrove forrest and nice landscapes! The entry is free (you only have to pay for the boat if you want to cross the river to the cave). We saw many monkeys, crabs and mudskippers. Definetely a fun activity if you are staying in Krabi town.

I personally love mangrove walks, so I went to visit this one too, although it is not as long as in other places. The boardwalk starts near to the main street along the river, through dense mangrove forest, with the possibility to observe different kinds of crabs. During daytime it might get quite hot, the best time for visiting is either early morning or late afternoon. The boardwalk ends right at the famous Khao Khanap Nam cliffs.

Hidden gems at Krabi town. There is no English information, but we can find it on google maps. We can walk for 1 km in the middle of mangrove forest. The view in the final walking area is so gergous, there is a cliff. It's so relaxing. When you walk, you can hear birds' chirping.

There is no tourist when I visit this place, no officer, no ticket, just walk in there. Just follow the path to enter the forest. Not much there except mangrove everywhere. That's why they call it mangrove forest :p Spent few minutes then left.

It's an OK walk if you have some time to fill. Only a short walk not very interesting. The best part was the view at the end, but still not worth a special trip. Give it a look if your in the area.

A fun little walk where you might spot crabs and mudskippers. At the end of the walk there are boats you can pay to take you to the island opposite, where you can walk around a cave. It's worth doing that either from the walkway or from town.
