One of our best meal in Kraków so far. Small cozy restaurant located in the historic centre, but not touristy at all. Everything we had was tasty and delicious, from the lentil soup to the confit duck. Great ambience too and friendly service, would recommend.

The pork knuckle was the best I've had and we had just visited Berlin. The pork knuckle had amazing crackling and was very moist on the inside, utter perfection. The pork neck and duck breast was cooked really well and had great sauces. We ordered the Cheesecake to finish and it was very crumbly and not too sweet. I would come back just for the pork knuckle.

This is an original Polish restaurant. We called maybe an hour before coming to the restaurant and they accommodated ya well. The food is very good. The service was very nice, they were always checking how we were doing, the dessert is made fresh. Definitely will recommend.

I really like the place...it's nice and even a bit elegant and yet feels friendly and relax. The service is rally nice and attentive. I think one of the very few places where the staff will actually check on you (normal thing in the USA but rarity in Polish restaurants) . and most important of all - food is really tasty with classy presentation. Highly recommend for a nice date, business dinner or even just intimate get together with a few good old friends.

When we read the Google reviews we thought we HAD to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint. tonight we had the pork neck and black pudding, the duck breast, beef burger and the polish soup served in bread. It was presented beautifully whilst maintaining a true polish meal. The service was impeccable and the lady who looked after us truly was so lovely. She recommended what vodka to try and both recommendations were so good. The smoothest vodka we had ever tried. Highly recommend Old Town!

One of the best meals we had in Poland, and 100 percent the best pork knuckle we've had in the whole region. The skin was super crispy, the meat was tender and flavorful, and it's huge (500g) and is enough for 2 people. Our fifth night here in Krakow. Going home in the morning. We ate here a couple of nights ago. We actually only stumbled upon the restaurant accidentally on our way back from the Ferris Wheel. I had a list of recommended restaurants to visit (this wasn't one) I can honestly say that this was my best dining experience in Krakow - I had a fillet of steak for my main course and I have never eaten a steak so tender and cooked to absolute perfection (medium rear) I would have preferred to have been seated in the darker more romantic part of the restaurant but I feel maybe our attire didn't suit that particular room as we were only back from a day roaming the city. Overall, fantastic food, very attentive waitress and very reasonably priced. I've also tried the more pretentious, recommended restaurants. Not a patch on this! Highly recommend ☺️

Also tried the trout and it was flaky and delicious. Staff were courteous and attentive but relaxed and flexible. This place is a true finding if you wish to try local polish cuisine. It is located in the vicinity of the Old Town, hence the name. When we came, we didn’t have a reservation, but fortunately there was a table for two unoccupied at the moment. The ambient is great and the staff is extremely helpful and fluent in english. While waiting for the zurek soup we recieved an apatizer made of onion, cream and paprika. It was a really nice surprise. The soup was excellent. I have been reading about this kind of soup and always wanted to try it - finally I tried it here and totally loved it. For the main course we ordered chicken breast with potatoes, broccoli and carrot in butter an lemon sauce. The breast was excellent. It was big, tasty and it smelled amazing. Broccoli on the other hand was a bit hard and the potato was unsalted, while the butter sauce seamed heavy. However, that’s obviously how the folks here eat their food so I respect that. The dinner was concluded with a shot on the house, which was great and a nice touch. I definately would recommend this place.

The waitstaff understood what celiac disease was, pointed out everything on the menu that could be made gluten-free (most of it), and reported that each dish was gluten-free as it was placed on the table. We shared a bottle of still water and each had a lemonade with our entrees. The lemonades were on the sour side, which I prefer. We finished with cappuccinos and dessert: Erik had a whiskey chocolate mousse (gluten-free) and I had the crustless raspberry cheesecake (gluten-free). The food and service were excellent, the atmosphere was charming, the tables were well spaced, the WC was clean and the music was just the right volume.

The skin was so crispy and went along really well with the sweet taste of honey, the meat was so soft, the fat was like it was melting in my mouth. I’m craving it right now writing this. What a hidden gem this place is! We visited early December and we were not disappointed. Food & service was exceptional and our waiter couldn’t do enough for us. Good choice of wines and plenty to choose from on the menu. The bread soup bowl was just what we needed to warm up and my steak was without doubt the best steak I have ever had! Melt in your mouth, beautiful. Exceptional value for money.

Loved it. Very hearty food and very fling. But each dish we had was so tasty. The serving team were great. Cannot recommend this highly enough for a taste of Poland.

Top place to have local bites! Zurek was really good, also cocktails are must to try - lavender gyn for sure. Worth a visit or two!

Reservation recommended as they had no room on a weekday. Came back with a reservation and had a very good experience. The food and drink were excellent. Staff were able to speak English and were friendly.

Visited Krakow at the end of June 23. Picked this restaurant for dinner on our last night because of the good reviews and we were not disappointed. From the moment we entered the restaurant to when we left we were made to feel like old friends returning. We both had Polish soup. I had fillet steak for my main course which was perfectly cooked. Our waiter was called Pawel (apologies if I have misspelt your name) and he was charming and attentive and provided us with complimentary Polish vodka at the end of our meal. Cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely return!

We enjoyed the dumplings and the pork knuckle. The food was stunning, so beautifully cooked with great flavours. We tried a few of the aperitif shots and they were lovely. The service was also excellent, we had a lovely waitress who was so kind and gave good recommendations. Would definitely recommend and I’ll return if I’m ever back in Krakow!
