I originally wanted to go to an Argentinian restaurant for my steak fix after a long and tiring day of touring. I was already hungry though and after consulting google maps, Restauracya Four was literally just around the block from my hotel and boy did I hit the jackpot! The place is apparently one of the best in the whole of Poland and it did not disappoint! The service was warm and friendly, especially the waitress who took care of me. I ordered soup, steak and dessert. All divine! How much did I splurge on this three course dinner? $43 (US dollars)… total!

Truly amazing restaurant - we are talking Michelin star quality - 10 minute walk from the Market Square. Very diverse menu, small and very competent wine list. We ordered 2 starters, 2 soups, 2 main dishes and shared a dessert. Plus a bottle of fantastic Polish white wine. Everything was beautifully plated and had an amazing combination of tastes and flavors. Gabriela, who was our server provided good recommendations and impeccable service. The restaurant Four, inside the Grand Ascot Hotel, is an amazing restaurant and seriously underrated. It has a lovely variety of food and the staff are very pleasant. I enjoyed many meals there. It was often empty, it definitely deserves more customers! I was also surprised at how good the prices are. Long story short, I highly recommend the restaurant to anyone who is staying either in the hotel itself or in Kraków, as to not would be missing out on a real jem of a restaurant.
