Just returned back from 3 day break, after changed booking by Expedia was moved to this hotel what a fantastic choice. I was a little concerned about the move of hotel especially as the taxi driver said about the roadworks in the area, but on arrival the staff were lovely, very attentive super friendly. Hotel was spotless, room was a triple bed had loads of room, seating area, shower modern the hotel hairdryer was even good too. Breakfast excellent choices for continental as well as hot food fresh fruit plentiful. Bar staff were really friendly and made delicious cocktails. Can't say about eating in hotel other than fantastic breakfasts. Lovely area outside to sit and unwind even had a spray of lovely cool water in an afternoon on walk back through courtyard much needed as weather very hot. Cannot rate the hotel and staff enough. At the moment major renovations are being done around the hotel but heard nothing at all so don't be put off as the hotel does have 2 entrances have read negative reviews on other sights about the huge roadworks but this did not impact us at all. Excellent area to be in preferred it to the main square, lovely atmosphere around here with exceptional restaurants to choose from. A lovely trip here in a fantastic hotel.

Service needs to smile, waiters were low moral or just don't like quests, hard to tell. Front desk was unwilling to assist guests with minor or trivial requests. Dust on on bed lamps, no tissues or kleenex. Food was nice, no faults there, compliments to chef and kitchen staff.

Nice hotel and friendly efficient staff. Good choice of hot and cold breakfast but lunch menu options very basic. Never dined there for dinner so cannot comment. Would we return? Yes definitely

Excellent food in the restaurant with absolute lovely and polite staff. Rooms are tidy and cozy. Other rooms such as gym and toilets are always clean and have a nice Ambiente. Only the tram is very loud which is a bit annoying.

Room had everything you needed & was clean but could have had a decent pillow. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Had a lovely cocktail in the hotel bar, which seemed very quiet, considering the prices were extremely reasonable.

Ridiculously bad value for money... When you pay $114 for one night in this beautiful city and you get a very poorly equipped room with a view for the entrance to the underground car parking, when the service is more engaged in a conversation with each other than actually in greeting you at the reception and check you in, when the breakfast served and restaurant looks very motel-style. Really weird vibes. And it's a 4-star facility. It's just a pure mistake. We're very disappointed.

On our trip in Dec/Jan we just popped in for a beer, although we had stayed here before, modern hotel with a great breakfast & bar & restaurant. Always very clean & staff very welcoming.

Went to Krakow for a one day visit and stayed here at the Golden Tulip, although it was just one day, we really had a great time here, the hotel is very nice, nice lobby, nice rooms, nice conference room etc. The very friendly staff welcomed us well and was very accommodating. They have nice, comfortable chairs inside in the lobby and in the outside alleyway too, beautiful flowers and plants to make the relaxing a more pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend this place and stay here again on my next visit to the old city of Krakow.

Everything was OK,just the parking is quite akward, you can not get in with bigger SUV.

Lovely clean hotel with helpful and professional staff. Couldn't fault it at all. It's modern and spotless. Good location. At time of our stay the road directly outside was closed for some work however there is a back way in and out of the hotel so this isn't the end of the world once you get your bearings. It's in a really nice area some lovely bars and restaurants around and short walk from most things . Would definitely stay here again

Good hotel in perfect localization in the city center of Kraków. Nice and helpful Staff, comfortable rooms, good breakfasts, there are also underground parking spots. Place worth to recommend during visit in Kraków.

I stayed at this lovely hotel for 4 nights as a tourist. The staff couldn't be nicer and the central position of the hotel is excellent. You are in the old Jewish quarter where there is much to see and do, great restaurants. You are also about 10 mins s walk from the riverside, Wawal castle, and 20 mins stroll to the main square or to Schindlers factory museum which is wonderful. The hotel room was so clean and the bed very comfortable. All vivid precautions were being taken and I felt very safe. I will recommend this hotel to others. It really is first class.

Very pleasant and comfortable hotel. It's about a 20 minute walk or a few minutes tram ride to the Old Square. This is right in the Jewish Quarter. Very convenient for the river walks and restaurants there. Very helpful that they securely stored our luggage through the day on checkout.

A decent enough hotel, good location with friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. If I have one bad comment, its jus that the bed was a bit on the soft side for me. The breakfast is of continental style and caters for just about every taste. I would visit here again.

Hotel a good 15 minute walk to the centre although it is close to the Jewish quarter. Wouldn't recommend room 101 as it on the main road and tram line. Breakfast is good if you get there early.

The localisation is perfect. The hotel is suited for solo travelers and for families. It wad very clean and calm. My favorite part is the staff. They were fantastic.

Myself and 2 friends stayed here 19th to 22nd November and cannot recommend highly enough. The hotel is spotless, fantastic amenities and a great location. The staff, without exception were wonderful and couldn't do enough for you. I'm definitely planning to go back.

I was the Golden Tulip’s guest for the second time, and as the first one was very fine, this time my stay was horrible. I was a little bit surprised, when during the check in, the guy at the reception desk asked me to pay my bill in advance - despite of credit card payment and my request for open tab („sure sir, you have an open tab, therefore you may pay any additional dues at the departure - but for the room you have to pay right now). The mystery was disclosured as soon as I entered my room number 404. The window view was something really unforgettable: the blind wall within a few meters opposite. No visible sky, no earth, just a grey wall. Nothing. Last but not least: the big blind wall oposite the window was a fantastic amplifier of noise from nearby Krakowska Street - especially generated by trams. I am a rather deep sleeper, but it was unbearable inndeed. Wanna change your room, even for extra fee ? Sorry sir, we have no vacancy. By the way - open tab is actually irrational in this hotel, as the restaurant „Estragon” is temporary closed and they open it up only for the breakfasts. Summary - the hotel absolutely not worth the money, unless you book the room instead of the cage.

Very noisy in the morning with laundry trolleys outside; I arrived late, after midnight and was woken at 6am with the movement of trolleys and opening and closing of doors. Hotel services were first class and very sympathetic with personal belongings. Bar and reception pleasant, welcoming and friendly.

Located 10 minutes from main square but perfect for going over the water to other attractions. Room clean. Used towels replaced. Free water daily. Breakfast is nice with a good choice.

First rate breakfast, good location. Only problem was fridge not working but as I didn't report it not a real issue.

VERY DIRTY hotel and unfriendly staff! Brown mold in the water kettle, dirty cups, dirty shower and bathroom, dirty carpet and stains all over the room. We twice asked for another room but the only thing possible was changing the water kettle. Becouse we were late in case of a delayed train (1 am) we could not leave for another hotel. In the morning we showed the photos to the lady at the front desk and the first reaction was: "You booked without cancellation so we can't give the money back. You can leave if you want but there is no manager we can contact within the next days." No excuses about the dirty very dirty room or anything. The lady was saying that we are lying about asking for another room and did not want to help anymore. After more than one week we haven't heard anything back yet on our complains.

Love this place. Clean & classy. Basic and beautifully. Kind and helpful staff (Rajesh T felt like a personal concierge). Everyone happy to help. Fantastic breakfast with everything you can imagine on the buffet. And some people were ordering omelettes from Kasia who kept the buffet full and attractive and tended to every need. I loved the way they scramble the eggs keeping them moist. They also had a DIY espresso machine with several options. Had a soothing shower head and always perfectly hot water. Beds are quite comfortable! Their entrance is located with a walkway between 2 streets, so it’s on a tram line and right in the Kazmirez district. Easy walking distance to a lot of the cities attractions and to a wide variety of cuisine options.
