Located in the Jewish quarter you find this nice polish restaurant. Our tour guide recommended it and we thought it was very good. We had to wait less than 10 minutes to find a table, seating available upstairs and downstairs. A wide variety of local dishes, each carefully prepared. Service was kind and welcoming, the menu was also written in English which made it much easier to understand. Highly recommended if you are visiting town and crave for local dishes

Best meal we have had in a while. Servers were friendly and accommodating. We were sat within 15 minutes on a Friday night. We ordered the potato pancakes, tomato soup, traditional breaded pork, peas and carrots side, and cabbage rolls. Everything was delicious and came out within 30minutes or so. Definitely recommend this place.

A very artistic decorated restaurant to try some of the best local plates! Good prices and service, too. Highly recommend.

This food taste like my grandmother food EXACTLY like home made food. 🥹 I was eating pierogi 🥟 in many different places... But today i find the best place. I'm sure. Absolutely recommended.

Exceptionally nice young waitress, very helpful for us as English to be honest and explain the traditional meals. Food was really good! Really really good. And was actually very cheap! Highly recommended. Will probably go back during our short time here

Found this gem not far from the Jewish neighborhood in Krakow. The restaurant is not very spacey and the interior is nice but nothing crazy. However, the food was really amazing and even my family who was for the first time in Poland loved their traditional food! And they were surprised by the bill, not expensive at all. The waitress was really polite and kind, smiled a lot which is never a small thing at all in my opinion. If you are around that part of Krakow, you should definitely go!

Been coming for almost ten years when in Krakow. This year, i think the taste of the food has slipped down a good bit. The stuffed cabbage rolls were just warm, like they had just been microwaved. Sadly, i don’t think i will come back.

Nice service and food was delicious. Local cuisine for a good price. We had the sour soup, potato pancakes with mushroom sauce and the meat with sauerkraut. Would go again!

Incredible restaurant! Definitely not a tourist trap; I was the only non-Pole in the restaurant. The menu features some of the best of polish cuisine for very cheap (I only paid ~$12.50 for all the food pictures below after tipping). My waitress was also very friendly and provided some good recommendations.

We really wanted to like this place but sadly, apart from the soups, it was disappointing all around. I finally tried the beef tripe soup and my husband had the tomato soup of the day, and both were very, very good. However, my husband's beef wrapped bacon and my cranberry duck left a lot to be desired. His tasted like regular meatballs with a weird filling, and my duck was overcooked (so quite hard) and smothered in just straight cranberry sauce that was pretty one-dimensional tasting and got tiring/overwhelming after a few pieces. We also ordered a spinach pancake, and that was the best part of the main courses (which shouldn't be the case). All in all, this place was a let down and I would try Polish food elsewhere.

Highly recommended 👍🏻 I had a fulfilling meal at this restaurant for an incredible price! For starters, I went with Spinach Pierogi- tasty, especially with the sauce. I had fried trout for main course which was amazing and seemed quite fresh as well. Mulled wine was good too. They did a great job with their service; the waitress was super nice and attentive. Though it was a rush hour, she still managed to get the order on table in time.

A fantastic restaurant located away from the touristy areas awaits you. This trattoria-style establishment offers an authentic dining experience, allowing you to mingle with the locals. The ambiance is cozy, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for enjoying your meal. The portions are generous, making it an ideal choice if you have a big appetite. With a wide variety of options available, you'll find that this restaurant truly captures the essence of Polish cuisine. What's more, the price is unbeatable, leaving you with nothing to complain about.

Polish kitchen restaurant is a real value for money. There is a variety of typical dishes, the portions are really big and the prices are more than reasonable. The serving girls are smiling and helpful. The service is really good. Of course it is not a chic resto, but I recommend for taste and conviviality!

Perfect place to try some traditional polish dishes but also some other tasty things. The service was great and very polite and hospitable. We didn't have a reservation, but we were lucky because we didn't wait to get a table. At rush hour it is quite possible to wait a bit for a place.

Excellent restaurant with local cuisine, all exceptional! The ambience is very welcoming and pleasant and the girls were very kind and helpful. Really recommended.

Super cute traditional place with pretty large menu. Food was delicious. I shouldn’t have eaten so much but when in Krakow right? I had half order of potato pancakes with goulash sauce, a polish sausage with caramelized onions, and a side of braised sauerkraut. All very good, the service was spot on, and the beer fizzy and cold, what more could a boy want?!

Loved the place and the food. Unfortunately the vegetarians options are limited but whatever they have in vegetarian is really good. Ordered 3 different types of pierogi and zucchini pancakes with a lovely salad. The varieties available for meat eaters are great. Cozy and light atmosphere. Good service.

Just phenomenal Polish style cuisine! Amazing service, and outstanding atmosphere. Everything we tried was extraordinary, and food portions were very good. I would put this at the top of the list if looking for traditional Polish style cuisine! Don’t leave before trying the borscht and hand-made apple pie!

Lovely polish restaurant with friendly staff. As a women I had the half portion goulash with fried potatoes and it was plenty. We also had the duck which was so yummy. Very reasonably priced for what we got! Would 100% go back if we were in the area. Thanks again to the lovely staff

If you are in the center of Krakow and you want to try real polish food this is the place! The food is not precooked or frozen, you can taste that everything is fresh! The service was very nice and helpful in choosing the correct dish! I recommend the racuchy as dessert!

Found this place thanks to a friendly tour guide I got to know. Best traditional polish food I've ever had, great service and ended up visiting twice! Food and drinks were also pretty good value. Best making a reservation for dinner as on second night it took about 45 min for a table to be free but it was worth the wait!

Wonderful authentic Polish cuisine experience, excellent food and amicable owner and staff. Highly recommended Kuchnia u Doroty for an exquisite Polish food. I had beet soup and chicken liver with onion which were nothing less than delicious!

We went for lunch with a friend by chance as we did not want to have lunch by no means to all touristic places around and we were pleasantly surprise by the ambience, the food and the service. As I will be revisiting Krakow this restaurant is going to be in my list and I definitely recommend it.

They don't take reservations so you need to get there ahead of time and wait. Very good polish food. Polish food is typically plain/bland. Staff was friendly. Restaurant gets very busy.

We had an amazing experience at Kuchnia u Doroty. We ordered cold beetroot soup, cabbage and mushroom pierogi and pierogi with duck. Everything was awesome 👍 The service was great as well. I would recommend booking the table in advance if you can. We went during lunch time and had to wait for almost 20-25 mins to get the table. But the food was worth it 👌

The cosiest little restaurant. We were met with the warmest welcome and the food was delicious. Huge portions and insanely good value (Just over £20 for a starter, two mains and drinks). We ate at about 4 polish restaurants during our time in Krakow and this was our favourite. As I said before the service was lovely, everyone was so welcoming. Thanks for great memories of Krakow.

Loved the food here! Got the half order of potato pancakes with goulash and a side of the mixed salads. It was a bit too much food but they dishes paired nicely together. Super delicious and reasonably priced! Pretty popular as well.

Traditional and tasty! I am so happy my tour guide recommended this Polish restaurant. I ordered black pudding( which is also made in Guyana where my family is from), breaded chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy with apple pancakes for desert. The food was really good-- seasoned to perfection and quite affordable. The apple pancakes were one the best deserts I've had thus far and it is served with a raspberry sour cream dip.

So.... I had my doubts about the restaurant despite the very good reviews, but it delivers on what it promises, really really good polish homemade food. The staff is really friendly and helpful and the food is really good. Loved it.

My wife and I both loved the food there. In particular, Żurek and potato pancakes were both perfect. The service was excellent, and despite being fully packed, the restaurant was comfortable to be in, and noise levels low enough to allow for comfortable conversations. We'll definitely be coming again.

I can highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for somewhere authentic and cozy to enjoy some traditional Polish cuisine. The service was quick and the staff were wonderful. We came back 2 out of 3 nights, and only missed the last night because it was very busy. Might be worth making a reservation to ensure you get a seat! We will certainly be back next time we find ourselves in Krakow. Thanks so much!

Cozy atmosphere and very quick service . The place gets filled quickly. There are variety of polish specialities 🥟 to try and the soups can be divided for two people . 🥣 Also their main courses with meat are excellent with flavourful sauce

This restaurant is very traditional and the food was absolutely delicious! We had some pierogies and of course the traditional beetroot and zurek soup. The waiters were soo friendly! It is more a local restaurant than for tourists, which makes it a lot more authentic. Thanks for having us!

Amazing traditional Polish dishes at a really affordable price. YOU MUST HAVE THE CABBAGE ROLLS AND POTATO PANCAKES! Complemented by the tasty sauce, both were so delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed, making the dining experience extremely comfortable. A must try when in Kraków! 10/10 👍🏻

Wir haben gegen 18:30 unser Abendessen dort verspeist. Sehr freundliche Kellnerinnen und TOP Essen. Richtig gutes tradionelles Essen.
