Revelation! Not only the food is solid, with a large menu of polish delicacies, but the prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity. Huge portions that are not reflected in the money necessary to purchase them is a welcome sight in times of high inflation like these. Service was impeccable, friendly and professional. The kotlet schabowy I had was cooked perfectly, and my partner's goulash was tender and juicy. The position in the heart of Zablocie makes it easy to visit it again and again. One of the best places for polish food in Krakow.

Good place for breakfast. It was tasty and rather traditional. I liked that it was served with butter, mustard and jam, so you can smear the bread with it. But breakfast looks small and a little bit poor on such huge plates, so maybe they should add some salad just to make it look better :) Also huge plus to service - the waiter was super friendly :)

Warm reception by the restaurant team and nice atmosphere overall. They speak good English and have an English menu and above all the food was amazing. It might be a bit pricey though but worth it. The delicious dish in the picture is Pierogi Kaczką; dumplings with duck. Very nice!

Wahnsinnig lecker und toll serviert. Nach dem Besuch in der Fabrik von Oskar Schindler haben wir einen Ort gesucht, wo man was schön essen kann und so sind wir in Talerz polski gelandet. Es war nichts los, was uns ein bisschen verunsichert hat, aber die Rezensionen waren sehr gut und so haben wir uns entschieden zu riskieren und sind auch zum Essen geblieben... Was eine sehr gute Entscheidung war. Das Essen war einfach genial. Alles lecker, frisch, gut gewürzt, perfekt gebraten. Einfach nur lecker. Auch die Dame, die uns bedient hat, war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die selbstgemachte Limonaden schmeckten wunderbar, Koktail hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt, was nach vielen wässrigen Koktails in Krakau eine nette Überraschung war. Wir hatten wirklich keinen einzigen Grund unzufrieden zu sein. Die Pierogi mit Entenfüllung, das krossgenratene Hähnchenfleisch, Salat mit Rindfleisch und der Burger. Alles hat toll gescheckt. Eine große Empfehlung. Das Essen war viel besser, als in vielen Restaurants in Krakau, kostete dennoch weniger. Damit war ist auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in Talerz Polski unschlagbar.

Amazing duck pierogi ! Went there only for it! The girl who welcome us was sweet and very friendly she speak perfectly english ✨ I will be back next time for the white sausage pierogi !

Service was really nice, waitresses were lovely and helpful. Salmon dish was great so was dessert. Cocktails were good too. Was not impressed with mushroom starter. The interior is very simple, there are quite many tables and space for kids.

Stopped by talerz on the way back to old town from the schindlers museum and the food/service was great.

Just dined here and really enjoyed it. They were happy to substitute an potatoes for pasta on account of a gluten sensitivity. The flavors were great, priced reasonably for current times, and care was taking to composing the menu. One criticism is the potato+Buratta appetizer, it doesn’t work and there should be a larger, while buratta instead. The potato would be better thin and crispy, complementing the cheese rather than overpowering it. The waitress was great and friendly. Getting here is easy, as it’s a short walk from the tram stop. The front outdoor seats are a bit loud as it’s next to the road, but the inside is very nice and comfortable. Overall definitely recommend it. Lots of cafes and little shops around the area to enjoy afterwards.

I found this restaurant simple because I want to have polish restaurant closed to the two museums. Turns out was over my expectations! I enjoyed a lot my lunch, food were attentively prepared, very tasty and well presented. A fantastic break for me among the museums!

Superb food and excellent value. We had the duck and the schnitzel dishes really generous portions and great tasting food. The chocolate souffle was more like how we'd expect a fondant to be but regardless was magnificent. Highly recommended.

Dined here as a couple on a Monday night in February. The food was genuinely delicious and the waitress was very attentive and polite. As it was our first night in Krakow/Poland, we wanted somewhere authentic and not in the busy tourist areas. We felt we got exactly that. Really impressed and will recommend to anyone visiting.

We have been with our group of students already twice in this restaurant during our visit in Krakow. The approach is more than friendly, nothing is a problem, the dishes were delicious, and the environment cosy. I can only recommend this place and say huge thanks for the care.

Was looking for somewhere close to our hotel to try some Polish food. Found this about a 10 to 15 minute walk. There was just one other group of diners in. It was around 7.45 and they close at 9pm so had plenty of time. My friend is vegetarian and we wanted to try the dumplings and potato pancakes so opted for 3 dishes. Sweet potato fries with aioli dip. Fab. We had cottage cheese dumplings with sour cream. Also delicious. Because my friend is vegetarian we asked for the goulash to be put in a separate bowl. All I can say is that it was absolutely delicious. The pork was so tender and the gravy delicious I asked for some bread to soak it up. Pancakes also very nice. We decided to share a New York cheesecake with lime. Also delicious. Had an aperol spritz and Pepsi Max and the total was 160pln which is about £32. Our server was very helpful and lovely. Would definitely recommend. Meant to take photos of all of the food but forgot the pancakes and dumplings. Just the sweet potato fries. Thank you again for the warm welcome from the 2 British ladies.

The place gave a nice and welcoming feeling. The food was delicious, i had the toast, polish duck and apple pie. All dishes were lovely served, and food tasted very good. Very friendly waitress too. :)

Food is average, personnel is good though. Clients are often drunk which can spoil your evening. Do not recommend if you have alternatives

It was an excellent decision. My wife and I entered the restaurant for dinner and were promptly served upon arrival. The menu is in Polish and English, so that helped a lot. The staff are very attentive, friendly and efficient. WONDERFUL FOOD WITH AN EXCELLENT PRESENTATION. The next day we went back to the restaurant for dinner. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.

Food was good, and the prices aren’t bad for current Krakow standards. The server was very nice. Wait time for food is slightly long, probably due to the large amount of take out orders they had. Duck was nicely made and tasted great with the slightly spicy sauce. Zurek was a big positive, great taste and good size.

Delicious food! I've been there many times and everything I tried from the menu deserves to be recommended, especially the beef burger, potatoe pancakes with goulash, the desserts.. and the salmon with wild rice and lime sauce is plain gorgeous :) thank you!

Lively ambience and Top notch service by all the staff in highly customizing our food and beverage orders. Extra credits for Miss.Sylvia who accommodated us in the last minute and let us sit and enjoy our date, even after the restaurant's closing time. Food is amazing - decent pricing, perfectly Polish, highlight being Potato pancakes with Goulash. I just suggest adding more Polish Desserts in the menu, to make it a complete Polish Restaurant.

I love the decoration and interior design. Our food was vegetarian burger and chicken sznitzel. Both were nice especially beetroot inside the burger. Just preparation took a bit more time than usual...

Nice casual, modern restaurant for non-touristy Polish food. The menu has some really good options - classic Polish dishes in a contemporary style plus tasty salads, pasta etc - in high quality. There are also good drinks and desserts. Our server spoke English well and we didn't have any problems with choosing or ordering. Nice location near the river with some outdoor space or a cool interior. I'd recommend it if you want to eat Polish dishes in a relaxed environment with reasonable prices.

Nice local food. The sweet potato dumplings are a must, and the boar was tasty and a very large portion.

After 5 days in krakow, this was our favourite place. Really lovely staff, really great food at a great price. Super glad we walked past this place, for sure give the pierogi a go!

They serve Fresh and tasty food, nice coffee and very warm raspberries tea. The waitress are so friendly and the place is good, and clean. It's located in Zabłocie neighbourhood :) nice area in the middle of Krakow Ps. Remember to order chocolate Souffle for your dessert 🍮🍫🍦

Amazing food! The periogis were delicious and so were the soups! Actually everything we ate was so yummy. The staff was so helpful and friendly! Highly recommend if you’re in this area!

I've had the pleasure of attending at Talerz multiple times and it's always lovely. The staff are welcoming and patient, the restaurant is always clean, there's a great atmosphere overall and the food is worthy. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it out yet
