This place is like a missed opportunity. It is beautifully furnished, the service is impeccable but the chef has an identity crisis and no idea which direction he or she is going. This is based on a 7 course New Years Eve gala dinner, meat less option. All the dishes were boring, unimaginative, zero direction, no use of local produce, all fish dishes were technically unacceptable as the fish was over cooked, the beetroot carpaccio was okay but a lazy choice for gala dinner, the goat cheese dish was ridiculous. When you are attached to Bachleda name you probably have access to the best local produce so why not utilize it? Trying too hard to be international while you could excel with local deliciousness. The worse course was the dessert which was supposed to be Sacher Torte, clearly the chef never went to Vienna to see how it should be done. All that seems like missed opportunity. Change the chef and with this interior and the service you could have the best restaurant in Krakow.

Decent food, decent service. Nothing too special about the experience here. Regret not sitting outside where there is live music and a great ambience Chef has a weird obsession with sweet flavours and berries on Everything.

We had a beautiful night. The sommelier and waiter were great and we had a lot of fun, learned a lot, had such an amazing service and an interesting five meal dinner.

As a guest of the adjoining hotel, I dined at Gavi enough times that I learned the names of the wait staff, and I tried every dish that tempted me on the menu. From breakfast through dinner, everything at Gavi is delicious. I tried so many amazing dishes but my favorite was the Sea Bass. It was completely boneless, delicate, and melts in your mouth. The staff is fantastic, and they treat you so well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent service and cosy ambiance. The food was hit and miss. The cheese starter and the tiger prawn starter were both amazing, great balance of flavours. The beef tenderloin itself was great but the sides were not; no acidity in the chimichurri and premade fries from a frozen bag. The first try on the duck breast was so bad that they didn't want to serve it. I appreciate that they fixed it without bringing it out but it ment that we didn't eat at the same time. A higher quality restaurant would have remade both dishes. We got free desserts as compensation. Great wine recommendations.

We were there for fine dining week. The food and the service were both very good but not exceptional, as I would expect for fine dining, specially comparing our previous experiences in other Michelin Guide restaurants of the city.

A great high-end place for a business lunch or a romantic dinner. Tatar, foie gras, octopus, duck leg, hot caramelized plums with ice cream, crème brulée - beyond praise!!! I recommend!!! The staff is very professional, well-mannered, attentive.

Great experience in Gavi Restaurant, we tried Polish menu from Tydzień Kuchni Polskej - considering this fact, we thought that portions will be small, but no, they were really enough to be full & overall food was supper delicious; as well as the service, our service guy was very professional 👏

This restaurant exceeded all expectations (which were already pretty high) for cuisine, service, ambience, and overall value. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we returned for breakfast. The service was so fantastic that we need to offer special recognition to Jakub and Krisztof — thank you again! The atmosphere and service in the bar downstairs, and the hotel in which both establishments are situated, also deserve their own accolades, so I will review them separately to show our appreciation. Standout dishes to not miss; Duck Leg Confit, Zucchini Pancakes, Crème Brûlée, and the list for breakfast would go on and on… because we tried almost everything, and the offering is extensive.

Visited here on Friday for a birthday meal as recommended by the Krakow guide on Instagram.. and was certainly not disappointed, fantastic food, amazing unique cocktails and brilliant service from our waiter who unfortunately have forgotten his name but was incredibly kind with hunting me down a charger to charge my phone! Will certainly recommend to friends visiting Krakow

Every dish I experienced at Gavi Restaurant was made with care and good quality.We opted for the 5 course tasting menu with a flight of wines and everything we tasted was "wow"The service is very good and you can spend an excellent time in a special atmosphere. Great food. My friend and I both started with the soup, it was lovely. I had the beef tartar which is one of the best I’ve ever had, it was the perfect balance. My friend ordered the pork chop, and my mouth was watering for it, it looked amazing and she said it was delicious. I had the duck which was cooked to Perfection. The service was great! Gavi is an all around beautiful atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised that this is a hotel restaurant. I would dine here again for sure.

Best place with very relaxing atmosphere in Poland. Food depends on season but you can always find something nice. Please put back in menu zhurek and pavlova as that’s 2 items I’m craving for when I visit Poland lol. Atmosphere is fantastic and I believe it’s best service like you can only find in best places in NY and London. Fantastic bar downstairs. Exceptional!

We were guests at the hotel, and had breakfast every morning at Gavi. The eggs Benedict were absolutely perfect! A full 10 out of 10! To top it off, Grazyna was our waitress each morning, and she made sure we were well looked after. We also had a dinner there one evening and the food was excellent, as was our server. Excellent experience all 'round!

Charming vibe, amazing decor and atmosphere. The food is very tasty. Service at a high level... I mean Mrs. Joanna, who shows great professionalism, kindness and courtesy, spending time in this place with such great service as Mrs. Joanna is pure pleasure. her knowledge of English is top level. I think that Mrs. Joanna is the face of this place, she made my stay in this place unique! I can't wait to visit this place again!
