This is history, this is the cradle of Russian fortification. The adults took a walk in the fresh air. The children "shot" from all the guns. Next time we decided to go to the Konstantinrvsky fleet on a local tourist bus. Photo attached. We drove to the beach - it was closed for now. Travel with children. Take water and sandwiches. You can sit on the grass and have a picnic.

I think only locals know what is this monument about, it doesn't have any inscription or plaque... But it's nice.

Very little information and little proper design. In Russia and the CIS, altitudes are calculated from zero on the Kronstadt water gauge in the Baltic Sea in the Gulf of Finland, the average level of which was determined in 1825–1839

Interesting place. Under the bridge you can see the level of the Baltic Sea, for now of course. Here you can also see a monument to the stickleback fish, which saved many lives during the blockade.

A seaograph is a recorder connected to a float in a 7-meter well, constantly recording changes in sea level on a tape. The current booth was built in 1895; before that it was wooden.

Kronshtadt is a town and a naval base, located on the Kotlin island, the cradle of Russian Fleet. Since 1704 it was the main naval fortress of Empire and sustainable defence of the capital Saint Petersburg.

The footstock is not easy to find, but there is something there. Some kind of quest😃 nearby, unobtrusively, is a monument to the stickleback fish that helped survive the blockade

👍 Decent park for a one time visit, if you are lucky enough, you can even feed the seaguls strolling around the pier.

👍👍 Great spacious place! Even in winter it is very cozy here. And slides for riding on cheesecakes are just 😋
