Was expecting the same cleanliness and cozyness of Thailand but was a bit disappointed. Anyhow lower your expectations and you can enjoy the stay here. It had a pool on the 11th floor and it was the best hotel could offer. Visited in September so it was a bit hot at KL and this was my place most of the time. The window view was one of the best. Overall rates were economical and it had some shops on the ground floor so getting food was easy as well.

Booked for 3 nights, left after 1! If I could give zero stars I would. I originally booked for the mixed dorm but requested to move. The room seemed to have long term habitants living in it, all males. The room smelled absolutely terrible and when I asked about the aircon I was told that it was only operating during certain hours. In a place as hot as KL this is totally unacceptable. No toilet paper in the toilet and the bathroom did not look clean. The bed was sunken in and pillow was lumpy. I asked to move to a private room which wasn't much better. The shower didn't work properly and the water dribbled out making it very hard to shower with. The bed was even worse. I don't know what it was made from but I was awake most of the night. I am not exaggerating when I say this. I'm now writing this review with a sore neck, shoulders and back and have huge bags under my eyes. When I told the host about these issues he just looked at me. NO APOLOGY was offered to me but instead he just walked away. I am honestly not one to leave reviews, good or bad, because I'm lazy, but this was just too bad for me to not say or do anything. Please do not stay here, there are many other good options available in KL. The only good aspects were the location, pool and small gym in the building

This review is for MR FARUK. First of all, he took quite a while to reply to messages. When I arrived, I asked to see the room first and he said he wouldn't show it to me until I paid him 280 MYR and that I'd be receiving the room I booked. When I again asked to see it he told me to cancel the reservation, I suppose in hopes that he would still receive the money. I didn't cancel, I instead showed him the room that I booked and asked if that was the one I would get. He then started talking about how he has many rooms and he couldn't be sure that I'd be getting what I booked. This type of person cannot be trusted. If the room is good why is there a problem showing it. Do not book with him.

My stay at Summer Suites KLCC Apartment was a mixed experience, leading to a 4-star rating. It's important to note that this is not a hotel, and the absence of a reception made the check-in process a bit of a nightmare. However, once settled in, the extra security measures provided a sense of safety, with each guest receiving a pass card for building and amenity access. While this added layer of security was appreciated, it also led to a few moments of inconvenience. The apartment itself was basic, and the view from my room overlooked another building. While not ideal, the apartment had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. However, I found the overall value for money to be questionable. Considering the drawbacks and the basic nature of the accommodation, I felt that the price was not entirely justified. On the positive side, the convenience store located on-site was a welcome addition. It offered added convenience, making it easy to grab essentials without having to venture far from the apartment. In conclusion, Summer Suites KLCC Apartment has its pros and cons. While the lack of hotel-like amenities and the view were drawbacks, the extra security measures and the convenience store on-site were positives. It's important to weigh the factors and decide if it aligns with your preferences and budget before booking. Hope this helps 🙏

WARNING: doggy place I don't know who has written these reviews, but this place was so bad that we had to leave after seeing 3 apartments. Smelly and dirty. The only positive was communication with the host and probably a location. It's an old shabby building. Avoid this place if you can.

There no longer a coworking space at this location. We were lucky to meet the manager who let us stay for a few hours as we needed to get some work done. we didn't stay in a room here! Thank you so much for all your suggestions and help!

I went here to pass things to my friend who is living there but there area there is pretty nice, the roads are large enough for cars and trucks to pass by. People here are even very friendly, generally. Police are also always on the lookout here so please do mind sitting on the roadside without any business and wear your mask always. Stay Safe everyone.

Mercu summer suit is unbelievable price of condo in middle of the city centre. So close to KLCC and highways. In middle of city with many accessibilities to reach out of traffic too. It is so amazing when you live here and work around. You ll see the traffic just on your opposite. Funny and lovely. I never imagined this place is so clean, trendy and upclass. You have grocery store and my news in lobby plus cafe, restaurant, money changer, barber shop and beauty services. Many lift working in each tower and great security team. It's what you need at your home all in one. Thanks developer and management to create this lovely spot for long and short time residents.

Of course you may easily get different experiences with different landlords, I've rented from two different landlords in this building price wise for long term stay it is over priced I paid 2500 ringets/ month on a 1 year lease for a studio apartment. The gym and pool are relatively small and are often over crowded. Also the pool water did not look too clean (it was a little murky) Best thing of course is the location fairly easy access to two of the most important lines LRT(7 minutes walk) and Mono Rail(less than 5 minutes walk) Also you have to well stocked convenient stores ("My News" & "Selection") in the lobby

Hi everyone. This is true story about Summer suites by Star residence. I have booked the room for 2 nights in Summer suites by Star residence. Booking was confirmed . We have arrived from Kyrgyzstan, middle east Asia. So it was terrible day because host send me message that he doesn't want to check in us without reason . It had happened before 3 hour check in time. We came to this garbage suit with 3 big suitcases and host spoke very rudely. he was obviously a bad guy. It didn't bring any changes. never stay at the Summer suites by Star residence if you don't want to stay on the street on a holiday when all the hotels in the center are busy. this employee is a moral freak

Spacious well-equipped rooms and everything you need on the ground floor: a cafe, a coffee stand, a grocery store with a wide selection of goods, including fresh fruit and produce, another 24/7 store, a nail salon, a hair salon, and a money exchange. The place is just a 20-25 minute walk from the Twin Towers and Pavilion (one of the largest malls in KL).

Please don't be fooled by the google and agoda reviews. Almost all the good reviews are from the same community if you notice it. My bad, i only realised that after checking in. Total scam. This is managed by foreign workers (Bangladeshi). The apartment looked new from outside. When you enter the lobby, full of foreigners. Very rude and not helpful security guards. Parking has to be beared by visitors, which was not mentioned by the host. It is very difficult to enter the building with only 1 card. The corridor to the rooms are smelly, dark and creepy at night. The room was bright and just ok. The bathroom was so old and horrible! Deposit is rm100. I would never want to go back to this place!

A new property that's an alternative to the hotel chains in the heart of KL city that lives up to the high life of some discerning travellers. Face Style offers state of the art deco in a 50 storey tower with a rooftop pool that's sure to wow with the view. Rooms and bedding is top notch and the kitchenette is larger than most other apartments I've had the opportunity to stay before. Clean, spacious and a new chapter opens for this property and for those looking for a room with some pluses, I highly recommend the Face Styles Kuala Lumpur!

4. Kaputte Handtücher und verpackte Möbel und Wände. 5. Schwimmbad ist eiseklat und im Schatten. 6. Wasser in der Dusche kalt. Überzeugt euch selbst! Ich habe extra Fotos gemacht und hochgeladen.

Stayed here for 3 days and absolutely enjoyed it! Well located within walking distance to the Petrona Towers, and many dining options in the area. There’s a grocery store, convenient store, a cafe, and a restaurant in the main lobby. The grocery store has international items. There’s also a big gym and pool on the 11th floor. Check in and checkout process was super easy. We contacted the company and they met us to give us the key and explain everything. To check out, we placed the key in the mailbox. The bed is a bit harder than most but for me this was okay. The best part about staying here was how spacious the apartment was, complete with a dining room, washing machine, and kitchen. The only minor issue was that we were given 1 key so it was a bit of a hassle to organize our whereabouts. Overall, I would recommend staying here!

That reception guy , he was so rude , he ringing door many times then i opened door and i told to him that why you ringing this rude , i have headache and he said i don’t care your headache 😵 whatttt! Im a costumer for this hotel and is it ok being this rude for costumer ! That guy looks like Kazakhstan and tall, thin … Be careful contact and conversation with him , he is not right human . And this hotel location is good , but inside the room every stuff has old , that white sheet had bad smell and didn’t ironed , sofa broken , kitchen stuffs too old , seems like used many times , oh my god that swimming pool sooo dirty , you can see yellow color from inside of the pool , security guy always see you at front of you , he sitting there, its not comfortable , someone watching you when you swimming , they want to get deposit if you not give to them they will turn off your water! Even you paid room they doesn’t matter …

Great company great view, great price. The staff are very kind and welcomeing. If the 12 person per room does not disturb you, you are backpacking or just on a budget vacation it does not get better than this in Kuala Lumpur. Entrance is sometimes problematic as key cards don't always work, but someone is always there to help. And you can also use the buildings gym and pool.

We stayed 4 nights in the Summer Suites. The apartment was nice and well equiped. But unfortunatly nothing worked. The keycard to the elevator, Wifi, hotplate, waterheater.. They fixed the keycard at day2. We fixed the Wifi. The other things weren't fix till check out. I would like to give 5* for the nice apartment, but the inconveniences we had isn't it worth that. We contacted SummerSuites everytime, we found a new problem in the apartment. And it shouldn't be that way. I hope SummerSuites will fix all the problems & will review every apartment before a new Check In.

The rooms are fine and location is very convenient to public transport like LRT and bus. But the parking service is terrible. The payment machine has a lot of breakdown. I was temporarily staying there for few months. It takes forever more than 2 months for the parking deposit to be refund (I have not yet receive the refund up till now) . Better not to rent the parking space there.

The room was very basic and simple. It was clean and comfortable. Netflix was provided too. There wasnt any view because there was another tall building facing this unit. The best thing about this place is the service from the staff. He was very helpful and responded quickly to any problems i had. But the thing that i dislike is the parking which is not for free. I had to pay around rm25 for the parking fee.

It’s a great place for quite cheap price considering the proximity to KLCC and the area around the apartment. You can get a really nice view staying at block B facing kampung bharu but it is also facing a highway. The windows at the apartment I stayed in were really thin so the noise from the outside was quite loud ~65 db which can feels loud first few nights.

Well maintained and premium suites. Most of the suites are occupied by short term travellers. Walking distance to KLCC, Quill city mall and a lot more places. Selections & Mynews is available for all the basic amenities. Cafe and restaurant is also present. The Parking charges are slightly high. If staying for long term, better get monthly pass.

AirBnbing; a lovely 2-bedder apartment 👌 The host/owners are absolutely on spot with his place for the guests 👍 Standard laundry, shower, kitchen amenities fully equipped so all is good till the end. Lovely view of the city from the balcony day and night Walkable distance to KLCC and roof bars nearby etc. The only gripe is fully on the building mgmt I.E the glitchy access card system to gain entry . The guards will have to pop by to the gates to manually tap the guests in , daily occurance .. tad annoying..

It is not a hostel, it is small apartment, one dorm 6bunkbed for meal and the same for woman, one bathroom only. No kitchen, t.v,clean water for drink, the apartment located on the 28th floor,no laundry or dryer. The only laundry machine was out of service for over a year .if you are on budget it is better to book at Hostels in the downtown where everything available for your needs .

First the agent gave us a sex dungeon room instead of the work lounge design we requested and needed. Then he lied to us that there are no rooms of the type we need, only when we told him we want our money back did he provide us with the proper room for the next day. Finally, when I tried to leave the compound while my compagnion was still up in the shower, security refused to open the exit gate for me. I had to go back up to the 19th floor and get her from the shower in order to escape from the building using the keycard.

The apartman is not clean, it is not the same aa the photos, shower was broken, a/c wasn't working, kitchen is not equipped, there was not enough towels 1 per person, we ask for more but didn't get it. The information about accomodation stated that late check out is 20 per hour but they charge us double. Avoid this place.

I was travelling for vacation. Booked a studio apartment through Airbnb. The place is a great place to stay in KL. A few minutes walk to KLCC. Spacious lobby area with a covered pickup and drop off entrance. Common lobby for tower A and B. There are 2 convenient stores at the ground floor where you can get a variety of food and drinks. There's a café for proper meals as well. Additionally there's a small kiosk that sells pastries and coffee. There is a money exchange shop, a salon and a barbers shop at ground floor as well. The place is very secure, where security guards are always around, atleast at the ground floor. You have to use the access card to get through a security barrier gates before entering the lift, and use the card again to access your room floor. I was informed that swimming pool, whirlpool, yoga deck facilities were available at level 11, but I personally didn't go there. In overall, the place is a very convenient place for your stay in KL.

Excellent location. Not far from LRT. Has my news open for 24 hours and small grocery for daily needs.

  • 2/5 Jade L. 4 years ago on Google
Location is not too bad as you can walk to 2 nearest train stations for about 7mins if you want go Jalan Bintang, Pavillion, Petaling Street, China town, central market. They are all 2 train stations away. Besides the 24hour minimart, there is not much to eat at the lobby. There are 2 cafes but the food is not nice. Grab is very convenient. But if you want to go nearby places like KLCC twin towers, walk there about 10min may be faster than taking a grab as sometime there may be traffic jam during certain hours. So walking is best. The studio room we have is reasonably big for 2 persons. Generally clean. What we hope they could improve are:1. Internet is working well but the TV channels are of poor reception. Cannot watch news. But can watch old Netflix programs. They have Chinese, English, Cantonese programs. 2. The blanket is old and to us quite dirty. They don’t change towels daily nor do house cleaning daily. May be upon request. But they do house cleaning after 2 days of our stay. 3. The bathroom should install a shower curtain so that the toilet area won’t be wet. And the floor mat should use a slip proof material than a towel as the floor is slippery. Can be dangerous for old folks. 4. Provide min 2 pairs of slippers as the floor may be sticky. 5. Provide washing machine simple manual. Not easy to operate. 5. We feel security is not tied at all. The security Guards downstair don’t care who entered and how many people get through the gantry. And the key locks are those common ones that can be duplicated easily. So not surprise to hear about theft cases. No safe provided. 6. Ants around. And they bite too. The lady who attended to us by name Lisa is good. She what’s Apps me before I arrived to inform me to contact her upon arrival. She checked us in and provided us keys. Any issue to contact her.
