!!! Anyone planning to stay here, please look here This is my first experience in this hotel. Smoke-Free Hotel?: The hotel claims to be smoke-free, but that's far from the truth. The lingering smell of smoke in the hallways and some rooms was quite noticeable. Seems like I am not the only noticed this based on the reviews given. If you're a non-smoker, this is definitely not the place for you. Card Expired in the Middle of Stay: During my stay, my card expired, and this created quite a hassle. The front desk staff should have informed me about this in advance, rather than letting me find out the hard way. They probably thought I am checking out (???) I was literally carrying so many stuffs and I have to go up and down just to fix this............. Stained Floor: The room I stayed in had a visibly stained floor. (Seems like blood? They are in dark maroon red color) which made me question the overall cleanliness of the hotel. I just found out this is a quarantine hotel... oh hell. Unwanted Housekeeping: I had no need for daily housekeeping, but the cleaning staff repeatedly knocked on my door, even when I declined their services. (The Do Not Disturb button is activated) This was frustrating and intrusive. They even called us using the front desk to ask when I will be leaving my room. Unpleasant Noise Levels: During my stay, there was a group of noisy guests, primarily from China. They made a lot of noise in the corridors and disrupted the peace and quiet of the hotel. Additionally, the elevators were often crowded with this group, which made it difficult to use them efficiently. Can you believe I waited for like 15 mins just to get down to 1 floor? How I wish this was a joke while typing this review. In conclusion, my stay at this hotel was marred by a multitude of issues, from false advertising about being smoke-free to intrusive housekeeping, noisy guests, and cleanliness concerns.

The staff at Dorsett were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Kevin and Katherine. They went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The hotel itself was also great. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Hong Kong. **Special thanks to Kevin and Katherine for their outstanding service!**

It says smoke free hotel but my room has extremely strong smoke smell. The chair has a big pile of stain, the towels given even has hair on it. Worst being, I brought my own towel, used and hang, yet housekeeping took it away. Seriously disappointed.

We booked the standard room with a queen bed. The size of the room is acceptable for for the price but the lack of wardrobe and luggage space let it down. The bathroom is quite small but the shower is quite spacious and strong. The fitness facilities is quite basic but if you know what you’re doing then it is fine. There are also a filtered water dispensers on every floor which was very useful for making hot beverages and pot noodles when you need a snack late at night. The location is good as it is just a short walk from 2 MTR stations and you are surrounded by local eating places but if you prefer western foods then the choices are limited. We were just transiting through Hong Kong for a few days and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

We stayed here for the entirety of our Hong Kong trip and it was amazing! Superb customer service and they gave us a free room upgrade when we asked for a bigger bed. They definitely made our stay in Hongkong much more convenient and memorable. Their club lounge rooms are highly recommended!

Had 7-days quarantine in this hotel at early Apr. The room was not big yet clean and tidy. The shower was powerful and hot which was a plus. The meals were quite tasty and punctual to be delivered. The points reward system was also handy to order stuffs from their Webpage. They have really done a great job on customer service and meals' quality to overcome the shortcoming of their location. I would love to thank Tony and his team on helping out with transportation. They have done above and beyond on their jobs with very satisfied customer walking out from the hotel. Highly appreciate and highly recommend them to everyone. ☺️

The room was good and i believe is bigger than the standard room in city center. They have like free shuttle to some places and they put the time table on the lobby so you can check if you want to use this service. Even though the location quite far, but all good, we can catch up with MRT so that is not quite an issue for us. The neighborhood is really nice and quite, i think it’s around apartments area. There is MRT station and a lot of bus stops nearby. There is seven eleven right next to the hotel but it,s not open for 24 hours. The room is clean and neat. They provide drinking water dispenser in every floor. When we were there, the weather was so cold even though we already turn off the ac. So i ask for heater and they send portable heater in minutes, really appreciate that. For someone who have early flight, we can use MTR but they just open at 6am. If you guys need to go to airport earlier than that, i suggest you guys use bus A32 with earliest schedule on 05.25 and the bust stop is just few minutes walk. In our experience, since it was early morning, we arrived at airport within 20minutes only. If you still need earlier bus, use the overnight bus start with the N, but i don’t know exactly which one, you can use that. We didn’t have the picture of the room but it’s absolutely the same as what they put on the website.

I had booked a reservation with Dorsett Tsuen Wan. However shortly after making the reservation (non refundable/no cancellation) we had an untimely family emergency which meant we cannot continue with the reservation. I emailed reservations to see if they were able to assist with cancellation with the understanding that I did not have the option of refunds. To my pleasant surprise, Johnny Leung wrote back and kindly assisted with my request and provided me a full refund to due this unfortunate rise of events. I will for sure book my stay with Dorsett Tsuen Wan in the future as they make sure they take care of their clientele. Thank you Johnny for your efficient and amazing customer service. I hope you are recognized for your exceptional care towards clientele!!

Location are very bad, you cannot reach the hotel unless you take their shuttle bus. The lobby is always noisy and full of Mainland Chinese tour. They crouch outside the hotel and smoke, it makes the place like local market! Room is OK, look a bit worn down. In the midnight, some people shouting and running in the corridor. Advise: It is better to avoid tour visited hotel.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. The carpets and rooms are dirty, walls are thin. Guests are loud, cigarette smoke is always present. Worst are the cleaners who are rough and love to bang the doors everyday. Even if you have the DND lights on, front desk will keep calling you for housekeeping and the cleaners will nag you coz they are paid per room. The swimming pool is non-existent. Don’t be fooled by the photos. Very unpleasant experience here.

Room was clean and nice, decent size for Hongkong hotel. Location is very good in my opinion, although it's not very close to MTR station (about 15 mnt walk) and beware if you are bringing many luggages, since you have to take many stairs up and down from MTR to the hotel. Aside of that, the hotel location is good, you are close to dine-in shops and there's a seven eleven store adjacent to the hotel. Nice...

About 10-min walk from MTR station and they do have a shuttle bus connecting places nearby including MTR but you have to book a day in advance. We stayed in a Twin Room, there was a hair dryer, toiletries, and a USB ports! You can also leave your bag after you check out. Overall nice stay but the front staff could be a little more attentive and friendly.

I don't like to write bad review, but today when I return to the hotel at about 6:30 pm (May 10) the room was not make up, I wasn't too upset about it, anyone could make a mistake. So I call house keeping and told them they didn't make up the room. She said she will check but then ask me if they could make it up tomorrow, what kind of answer is that, I would think the proper approach would be saying we are sorry and we will send someone up to clean the room for you ASAP. bottom line is I told them I need some clean towels, water and some tea bags and they deliver them but still didn't offer to clean the room, end of story.

I can't believe even the DND light is on, their housekeeping still break in to clean the room. And actually, they just changed the towels, I stay here for 4 nights so far, they never change the bed sheet and pillow case. Temperature in the room remain the same no matter you turn the air-con to low/med/high. Pillow is too soft and blanket only a little thicker than the bed sheet. No one answer the phone at night no matter call to front desk, housekeeping or operator. Location is not convenient. I don't see anything in this hotel that can claim a 4-star.

The hotel itself is nice, as are the staff. It's clean and modern, the amenities are all good... BUT THE BEDS are not very comfortable. Our first bed was slanting down from the sides into the middle, so we were both rolling into the middle of the bed. Staff let us change to another room immediately, and that bed was better, but still not great. It still felt like it was slightly leaning in towards the middle. I think a lot of the beds are broken/worn out, and really need to be changed.

Not the most convenient for travelling to some areas tourists might want to visit. Hotel is OK, and staff helpful. I thought the self service laundry was a bit expensive compared to the last hotel I stayed in but having it on site was convenient, especially for long stay. Shops and eateries nearby.

Chloe, Katherine, Ariel, and Icy at the front desk is very welcoming and helpful. They have been really kind to accommodate all my requests. Dorsett Tsuen Wan is also located in a great location with very reasonable price. It is going to be my go to hotel in Hong Kong at all time :) love this place

Hotel is at comfortable walking distance from A32 bus from airport, but little far from MTR station. They asked for 1000hkd security deposit, but we refused. Room were small, but triple bed room are ok. They provide free shuttle bus service to metro station and other Mall which is nice. Drinking water is no problem , since every floor has a water filter. Rooms are clean, with clean toilet seat. Overall , nice experience.

Joined the Halloween workshop with my 2yo daughter, staff is very helpful and nice. We went to the playhouse afterwards, place is clean, with numerous toys in each section. The playhouse is not small but with several hallways, if too many kids are there, it could be a problem, but since we are the only one here at the time so it’s fantastic, we had a great timeπŸ‘πŸ»

Nice hotel that offered me a comfortable stay for quarantine after travel. I stayed with my husband in a Deluxe Room for a week. The room is clean, spacious enough for my 6 pieces of luggage, yet leaving a small corridor for exercise there. I especially give a thumb up to the meals provided. Food are fresh, yummy, always serving hot, with different varieties and every meal comes with either a drink or a fruit. Staff are helpful. Delivery of outsider stuff to room is always efficient. Highly recommend Dorsett Tsuen Hotel for quarantine stay πŸ‘πŸΌ

Located just a short walk from Tai Wu Ho station on the Tsuen Wen MTR (Red Line) so easy to get to. We were provided an upgraded room which was still quite small. But it suited our needs just fine. No complimentary water, however there was filtered water available on every floor, I guess as part of their green initiative. Breakfast was really good. And they actually had the closed the lids on the food so it stayed hot!! I would happily stay again.

Most of the staffs are nice , helpful and friendly. Even my room was upgraded to high floor with good view, nice blackout curtains, its clean, tidy , but its still a abit small and not enough space for me ,overall the room was satisfied. I was happy to do the laundry with new installed washing n drying machine. The price was good, not high for my 22 days stay Feb 3-24 because the location really not convenience, it's good to have free shuttle bus, but the service was per hour from 8am to 4.30pm, its too early for the last schedule 4.30pm as the hotel is not close to mtr . To be improved: The room has no microwave, i hope at least one share microwave in the gym or laundry room. The small freezer was not cool and cold enough. One thingt to complain was once i checked in, i ask the front desk staff if the hotel has a luggage scale to lend me to check the weight, the lady said yes, but the night before i checked out, the gentlemen said no, absolutely no, i confirmed at housekeeping i was so upset and no pleased that that staff was so rude and impatient for answering my question. Anyway, thanks all your staff for helping me.

Pros: - The staff are nice, friendly, and helpful. - Area is great, close by the MTR (10 mins away) and it's not super noisy at night. - Shuttle buses to 3 plaza's - There's a 7-eleven downstairs next to it - Laundry area Issues: We ordered two rooms, one with 2 separate single beds and 1 with a queen size bed way before our trip started. During our check-in they didn't have the queen size bedroom available because it was all fully booked... which makes no sense. If we booked it, you should have one available if you organized it well. We were given 2 single-bed rooms and had to wait a couple days for us to swap to the room we initially ordered. The rooms are quite small and the bathroom was super small in the single-bed rooms (I'm 5'2" and had issues where if you're sitting on the toilet and you lean over for even 2 millimeters, you'll touch the door). The rooms are super dusty, even when the air purifier is turned on or even if housekeeping was involved. Some floors are super humid and no matter what you do it won't go away. 2 days during the week is where they have housekeeping services and they don't vacuum unless you check-out I believe. The washing and drying machines are nice, but I tried drying a load of laundry 3 times and it still wasn't dry... mind you it's $40 HKD per use. So when you need to do laundry, it's only useful for small batches. This hotel is a smoke free institute. However, outside my room, I smell cigarette smoke, and my room is next to the emergency exit/stairs. Not sure if someone is smoking in there or not but kinda sus. Overall, area is great and the staff is cool. I guess you're getting what you paid for? Not sure if I want to book this hotel again though...

I stayed at Dorsett tsuen wan for a little just over two weeks. The room was decent, I quite liked the walk-in shower, the room obviously had been made prior to my arrival however I could still find blonde hair on the carpet. There was ? mould near the vent. The room also had an air fresher/ dehumidifier, I couldn't tell but it'd be better it if was a dehumidifier given how humid HK can be. The room came with a clothing rack which I thought was helpful. The room attendants were very helpful in the morning though. You can ask for unlimited supply of bottled water which I thought was nice. The gym was small but functional, could only occupy 2 - 3 people at a time. The gym does not have an emergency button which I think is a bit of a problem. Even though its air conditioned, the ventilation in the gym isn't very good and can be very steamy after a while. I didn't try their breakfast not dinner so couldnt comment. Location wise was ok, about 10-15 mins walk to the nearest MTR (though you have to walk past several gas stations which can be dangerous as the drivers wouldn't slow down for pedestrians). About 5-10 mins walk to various bus stops and local village and supermarkets. It's surrounded by a number of industrial buildings so it can be very dark at night (gives a differ vibe). Also don't expect a good view from the room due to same. The hotel provides shuttle bus services to the bigger shopping centres. Overall it wasn't a bad stay, I did not think it's a 4-star hotel, they were doing many of the reward programs which weren't explained to me when I arrived. Though the staff was helpful

We stayed in Dorsett Tsuen Wan last week and had a pleasant stay. Ms Agnes Si - their Senior Sales Manager - had everything arranged well and smooth. We will choose to stay in this hotel again.

Excellent job as a quarantine hotel. Clean room. Reasonable size. Excellent WiFi. Adjustable temperature for air conditioner. Well designed washroom: sufficient space to put your clothes and hang your towels, hand held shower head, hot water with good pressure. Good size desk for working. Good variety of TV channels. Responsive and helpful staff. In house games for guests. Food is hot most of the time when served. Air purifier in room. Sheer curtain to make use of daylight while protecting privacy. Encourage to reduce and recycle!

Tbh I wasn’t expecting much from a quarantine hotel at first, but it turned out to be a really smooth and pleasant stay! The ceiling was high that made the room spacious and comfy. They gave us a lot of supplies to make it through the seven days. Food was yum and warm, they also gave us fruits and coffee mixes. The staff was also really friendly and helpful. We were exhausted when we arrived the hotel but the procedures and settling down were really quick. I think it’s a really good deal with this price, RECOMMEND!

I quite enjoy my stay at the hotel. Even though I did not interact with the hotel staffs for long, every encounter has left me with an extremely positive impression. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my return date to Hong Kong was changed and I had to look for accommodations in short notice. Leo Hui from the sales department was extremely kind and patient in helping me to look for a place to stay for when I return. Despite being extremely busy with bookings, Leo worked tirelessly in assisting me, and kept our line of communication open; I could not thank him enough. Also, during my check-in and check-out at the hotel, I was greeted by extremely friendly and informative staffs. They explained the rules and precautions of quarantine to me in great details and clarity. All in all, I just want to thank all the staffs who kept my stay problems free, and as enjoyable as it could be.

Stayed 7 days in Dorsett Tsuen Wan was excellent quarantine experience. Thank you so much for all staffs in Food and Beverage, Concierge and especially Sales Agnes Si who care of my family and assist us during my quarantine period. Much appreciate for the pre-preparation of baby amenities upon our check in. The hotel room was clean and tidy. Food was delicious and good. When we requested more water, housekeeping staff was quickly response and sent to my room. During the staying period, we bought the playful toys and so glad that hotel provide the weekly game for fun. My son was happy for them. On the day of leaving the hotel, I asked for help to Concierge and pick up luggage. The staff not only on time to bring my bags but also go downstairs with us, I was surprised staff waiting for us and dropped luggage until taxi came. Overall, I was so impressed that everyone who were take care of us and really recommend for my friends and family.

We had a really great stay during our quarantine here. The room was really clean and beds were comfortable as well. The size of the room was a lot bigger than expected with a huge window overlooking the hills (which was very nice). The hotel staff were also extremely friendly and made sure our stay was comfortable. Overall 5/5 would come back again.

My stay at Dorsett, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong thus far has been a wonderful experience. The bed was comfortable, both the room and toilet are tidy and clean. I especially like the "Welcome Pack" was given which includes the utensils, washing detergent and lingerie wash were given. Having said that, the food has some improvements to be done. The rice isn't well cooked for me for a few meals. Thus, I called and kindly asked it to be more cooked subsequently. And I was please to note that the rice have improved and cooked. Let's see for the remaining few days.

Enough amenities to keep myself hygienic, and enough space to place my things. A good bed to sleep in as well, though the duvet and the carpet were all pretty dusty. The food served was decent, but I should also note the rather large portions. Although some of what was served simply aren’t what I like β€” such as the kidney beans for breakfast on Monday β€” the beef recipes served for lunch and dinner contained rather tough pieces of meat. It would be appreciated if the kitchen can do something to make the meat easier to chew. The staff service was excellent, however. Any needs that we requested were promptly done, such as a request for more drinking water, coffee, towels. The meals were served on time as well.

The staff are helpful and responsive. The room in general is clean. It is equipped with air purifier, hanging rack, and daily necessities like laundry detergent which makes our life easier. Menu is nicely designed and my son enjoys the kids menu. Also, we appreciate the hotel’s efforts to organize some fun games. Thank you to your team.

I'm very happy and satisfied with my stay at Dorsett Tsuen Wan so far, 2 more days to go to complete my compulsory quarantine period) The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend! πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

We are very disappointed for this hotel . We stayed for 14 nights and I booked it very early so I got the early bird promotion and 14 nights stay promotion. However after I checkin I think the room maybe a bit small for two adult and 1 baby so I checked hotel website to see how much for upgrade and any availability but they showed the price is cheaper than I paid and it was a deluxe room (my one is standard room) so I went to front desk to check with the staff, they only replied the hotel rate is flexible if the price higher we also will not charge more from youπŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„ Of course I understood it is flexible but you can setup the price a bit higher than your early bird promotion. This is a really bad feeling for the customer, what's the point we booked it so earlier and when I request I don't want the last room in the hallway, the staff just reply early bird promotion must be the last room πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„ Concussion is I paid more money but the type of room is the lower one also can't request anything because it is a early bird promotion πŸ™ƒ Never stay again, staff is not friendly and not helpful at all.

I'm a bit frustration on the service. Call many times, never pick up the phone. We planned to use the shuttle van while staying here & wanted to know what time for next trip but no one pick up & at the end we have to use taxi. Also, I have booked to stay 3 nights at the same room, on the last night was asked to checkout but already check with receptionist & already confirm with the stay but still the room service ask many times to check out. It was very stressful. Hope you will take the necessary steps to address the issue and improve in future. But anyways, the room was big & satisfied.
