Very good hike to do and do again! Access to the semaphore is via a steep climb but it is pleasant and offers several remarkable viewpoints!! After going up and down through "the town" we cut off and went back up towards the Notre Dame chapel which also offers a very beautiful view! I recommend this hike which can be done by young people and those less than a month old 😉.

The semaphore is a lookout, radio and military rescue point, access to it is prohibited, you cannot climb inside. But the view is just magnificent, starting from the viewpoint right next to it, there are several marked trails along which you can go for superb hikes. 👍 On the way back and forth following the yellow markings, you can do different hikes on the ridge trail with breathtaking views. 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours or even 4 hours. I highly recommend it, it’s magnificent. Happy walks everyone.😎

Eagle's Beak Semaphore. Located on the crest road. Magnificent place with stunning views. LA CIOTAT seen from above with its old port in the foreground. Further on we can admire St Jean, Bandol, ..... on the Marseille side a breathtaking view of the coves of En Vau and Sor Miou. Magical place where the brave can set off on foot from La CIOTAT Chemin Ste Croix and climb the calanques natural park to a height of 328 M.

Very nice hike of an hour and a half round trip. You will see a dominant panorama from Six-Fours-les-Plages via Bec de l’Aigle to Marseille! A tip: Bring your sandwiches and have a picnic in front of this splendid view!

Site of indescribable beauty. Surely the most beautiful view of the bay of Cassis La Ciotat. You risk draining your camera battery ^^ Bring a coat, it can sometimes be very windy. It's the ideal right for lovers, or to take your mind off things. The detour is worth a look 😉
