Have been in a few times to buy food but when I asked for help, i was told by the employees on multiple occasions that they don’t speak English. I was really excited to get a pet food store in St Henri, it's a shame that I can’t be served in the way I’m best able to express myself

I want to like this neighborhood store ( St. Henri) but I can't. I rather walk 10 min to Mondou down the street. 1)Very inconsistent stock. 2) More expensive than Mondou. 3) Most items not food are not even listed for prices. See above 3) Points system sucks compared to Mondou. I always collect points but never seem to redeem. 4) Only pet store in the city that doesnt offer fresh Cat Grass. You cater to cats and dogs, how do you NOT have freshat Grass 5) Food selection has gotten worse and more expensive by 30% on many food brands. The brands they carry is limited and not even good. 6)ABSOLUTELY the worst website I have ever seen. Dated and amateur and useless. 7) Store always smells like a barn and poop. It is very off putting. I WANT to support it cause its local, but this is the worst damn store in the city hands down. Little Bear in Westmount and Mondou Little Burgandy are both 10 min walk away.

Great to have lots of selection but please work on more billigual staff. People appreciate EFFORT even when staff might not speak English fluently.

There are a lot of things I can criticize about this place which is simply objective. They need to work on inventory. However, their staff merits 5 stars specifically Rina. I was having a tough day as a dog owner. Rina was empathetic, she listened and hugged me to give me comfort. Thank you Rina! Being a dog mom has its days and you were a blessing helping me get through it.

The staff here is always friendly even if certain food items I want for my cat are not available. They’re usually so helpful and help me figure out alternatives that are equally as good. I know they offer grooming services. I have not tried that yet. They also have a reward program that essentially Gives you one percent cash back in store

It says it opens at 9am. Wasn't open at 9:15am. What's the point of having these hours if you're not going to be punctual.

So happy with the service here. When i need something which is out of stock they will go the extra step to call me when its in. The staff is always in such a great mood and happy to welcome your dog with smiles and a treat. It's my dogs favorite place to visit :))

I have been using this pet shop as my regular go-to store for all my dogs food and toys for almost 2 years and while the selection of products are okay, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Often it has been an unwelcoming atmosphere to walk into and feels like your presence is an inconvenience. I have tried to order my dog's food twice recently, once I was told it was not possible to pre-order even though I had done this in the past, and the second time a girl took down my name, number and details of what I was trying to order and said that she would have the manager call me as she didn't know how to use the ordering system herself. This was about a month ago and I never received a call regarding my order. Several times previously I have also placed orders and been told that I would receive a call when my products were in the store and I have never heard back from the shop. (I know my number is correct as you give them it before each purchase to collect points.) I decided to go to a competitor located on the same road after being frustrated at these unsuccessful attempts trying to purchase my dogs food and not only was I welcomed upon entering, I was also able to order what I needed AND have it delivered to my house for no extra charge within 2 days of placing my order. Unfortunately I wont be continuing to use Pattes et Griffes due to these reasons.

The girl that was working today 18/05 in the store is amazing! I was not sure about what Feliway I should buy and she Google it, checked the box and everything to make sure that I would get the right one :)

Great price and really nice staff. You can find a lot of things, large selection of frozen goodies for pets. The large cat litter bags are very affordable. Would recommend!

Honestly I'm almost in there biweekly, whether it's communicating in french or english I never have any problems with the staff and that's how it's been for me since day one. Everyone is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

Good selection of merchandise however unlike Mondou they do not take returns or exchanges. Rather frustrating as you never know what your pet will enjoy. I hope their policy will change as the location in st-henri is convenient
