𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 | 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮 This Novotel was beautiful form start to finish. The main reception and lobby was classy and very well equipped. Location is really good for walking with family and friends love ones and pets. The harbour is near by and offers many eateries and fast food outlets, bars, highly recommended area to visit. Hotel is highly recommended despite the AC not in service from my understanding, staff accommodating and offer great advice and support to travellers looking to potter about the local area. Highly Recommended.

Rooms are small beds are bad and breakfast is ok for what it is. But it is a cheaper place

We love La Rochelle and have stayed at this hotel many times. It is located centrally but in a large park. It is very easy to walk into the town in about 15-20 minutes. On this occasion we visited on a French bank holiday and found the restaurant experience disappointing. The dinner menu was very limited and the breakfast experience wasn’t any better. A child on a table behind us was sick on the table but didn’t see any staff assisting. Many children were also mauling the food and as a result both my wife and myself were ill. It may not have been caused by this but seems suspicious. Because of previous positive experiences we will probably return in the future and put this down to a bad experience.

Quiet, clean, friendly staff. Rooms quite big with large sofa. Comfortable. Separate toilet and bathroom. Very nice breakfast with good selection of food. The only downside is just one English channel on TV. I can honestly recommend for short stay

It was à beautiful calm expérience. Hope to return when possible. We had dinner in the restaurant and the waiter was assallam, we were very impressed with his customer service. Xx thank you

Great hotel. Situated on the park within walking distance to all of the La Rochelle sites. Breakfast was great, include all of the french and continental options. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again!

Pleasant hotel. Good location, just 10 minutes walk from the delightful old port. Large and clean rooms. Staff all friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant are functional but nothing to particularly write home about. Swimming pool is smaller than it appears on the photos. Good for a night’s stay but nothing more.

Needs better cleaning:dirty floor, poor bed not even made just something thrown over a black mattress, smelly. I know it's budget but please do some decent cleaning.

Wonderful location just five minute walk through a park to the beach, unfortunately that's as good as it gets. Restaurant and pool area is very grubby, cobwebs cover some windows. Breakfast it's typical for this standard of hotel, buffet offering both English and continental style. The staff were helpful and speak English. The decor is looking tired and the hotel in general is in need of maintenance

Very good hotel for families. Roms are a little small but space downstairs for bar and restaurant and kids play good. Pool is nice. Breakfast very good.

Great hotel with very helpful staff. Our only concern was the windows open fully and we were on the fourth floor with young children

No air con 😢 not a good night's sleep 😴 location is really good for walking dogs and walking to the harbour. Been on a Rd trip different hotel everyday though we would treat ourselves to a more expensive hotel have to say worse stay so far just goes to show more money doesn't mean a better hotel!!!!!
