Very good hotel! Bed is good, room is clean and big, reception staff is very polite and friendly. They have parking, but book it in advance! You can park outside, but be careful, it is paid parking. Breakfast is nothing special, but enough, it is only €8, but seeing you are in France, you can get nice breakfast elsewhere. Nice location too, 9 minutes walk from the center.

Starting from 18:00 very strange young girl works there, she lies all the time about everything- availability of the rooms, location and time work of the shops, being rude to the guests because she believes it’s France and she can do crazy things like it’s her home and not work, very weird experience, I would recommend to avoid this strange person.The hotel doesn’t have management and bored team does whatever comes into their “enlightened” heads. It was October - the season was over so plenty of options and I have chosen better hotel with better prices for the rest of my stay. I have asked another tourists regarding what a heck was it with her, they have told me France has nazis who hate foreigners ( they like to call themselves nationalists though) and those strange people unfortunately do work in tourism industry but mostly in bed hotels with poor selection process.

Great hotel in the center of the city. Only a few minutes walk to the center. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the parking. On line they say they have parking but what they have is so limited. They don't tell you that you need to book your parking in advance.

A great place for an overnight stop. Very close to the city centre. It would not be great for a long stay but great for a short stop.

Hotel very near to historical center, perfect to visit the city, but a little bit expensive for what we got. Very welcoming staff (night shift). He helped us when we find out that there wasn't toilet paper in our bathroom. Spacious and clean room, but only one towel in bathroom. We had to use the ones left in upper floor (extra beds).

Great hotel for families, we loved our family room and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel location is excellent, facilities are great and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

This hotel was very convenient, close to the train station, but not noisy, we felt safe and in less than ten minutes of walking we were on the old center of the city. Our only real complain is the pillows: there was only one small and flat pillow on the bed, of bad quality. For the price of the hotel, at least this convenience should be resolved.

We spent one night in this hotel but we'll definitely come again . The price of our stay ( 2 adults 2 children aged 7 and 10 ) was extremely reasonable considering the location ( a few hundred meters from the old port and Aquarium ), the comfort of the mattresses and the excellent breakfast . An enormous plus for us was the mezzanine in the bedroom where the kids had a space of their own while allowing us to stay up late . Of course , a few things could be improved ( one bath towel per person only and one pillow each ) . But considering the overall price of our stay , it would be rude to complain ! All this not to mention that the staff was extremely helpful too and the place was very clean . I highly recommend if you are on a small budget .

Appropiete hotel to visita the city but basic

B&B is a no fuss hotel, only 10 min walk to the port. We had a family room and it was perfect! Room was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. We had a room at the back so it was quiet. Staff were super friendly. Can't really ask for more.... Will come back when in la Rochelle, and definitely recommend it. Thanks again! 🙂

Moreless. The price is good, but...No room cleaning during my stays. Very few variety of options for the breakfast. Bathroom very simple, no additional bath items.

Simple and no fuss. 2 mins walk to train station and less than 10mins walk to center of commercial area. Very good location

Everything from check in, room, breakfast, was excellent. Extremely good value for money and an excellent breakfast. Used the hotel for 2 nights en route from La Rochelle to Nantes for RWC, and return. Compared to hotel prices in Nantes, this was a no brainer. Great stay.

Hotel is centrally located, the staff on duty were extremely helpful and the breakfast was as expected. Pillows were very uncomfortable but could have easily been rectified by better quality extra pillows requested.

This is one of the best hotels from the B&B chain I have stayed in! Clean and modern and modest but efficient rooms. I particularly liked the small kettle for hot water in the room as well as the microwave and kettle counter at reception for heating meals and tea. Most other B&Bs only have a microwave... I also liked that they left me the choice if I wanted to have the room cleaned during my stay. I did not. I find it a waste of resources and I am glad they left me the choice.
