This hotel ticks all the boxes; perfectly located, great atmosphere, and well managed. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating, the concierge was very helpful! Our room was fantastic; it was decorated to a good standard, had good amenities, was clean, tidy and comforting. Breakfast was really good. Truly highly recommend staying here.

The location and outside sitting area of this hotel are what drives the rating for me. The staff and service were wonderful, but the calm from the courtyard was very hard to beat. Add into the mix a very reasonable rate, and this place is hard to beat!

Gorgeous repurposed former convent. The building has kept much of its architectural history in tact. The rooms are modern and ours had a little balcony overlooking an enormous garden. Breakfast was delicious and can be taken in the garden weather permitting. We absolutely loved this hotel. It’s walking distance to everything in this wonderfully vibrant city. Street parking is hard to come by but the hotel can direct you to a garage nearby.

We loved this hotel. Never met such friendly staff, rooms and beds are super comfy. Really really quiet air con!! Blows lovely cool air in and you don't even hear it. Be good when the hotel starts doing some proper food, apart from that it was perfect.

Well located for the old town and port. Paid parking available a little walk away so drop off your bags first. All the staff were superb, very helpful, professional and friendly. Superior room very comfortable and very clean. There was a very good selection of food at breakfast time and although we were unable to enjoy it in the garden due to rain, the dining room was fine. Overall, we felt the hotel was a little overpriced based on facilities but the staff were 5 star.

We hosted a small event/workshop and everything was truly wonderful!! Camille, Jean and Fanny were incredibly helpful, they went beyond their call of duty and made us feel at home. Not only is the place beautiful with its gardens, its architecture and location, but they made sure that we had everything that we needed to make the experience extremely positive for everyone in our group! Our group of 20 people only had great things to say about the place and the people. We are looking forward in hosting another event this winter!! thank you again to Camille and her team!

We had a really good experience. The service provided by the staff was exceptional. The hotel was lovely and the breakfast was really good.

This is an excellent hotel, well-located, well-maintained and updated, but with the charm of an earlier era. In addition to nicely decorated public areas inside, there is a beautiful garden at the rear of the hotel. Our room was large, with a high ceiling, efficient air conditioning, and a very good bed. The staff were accommodating, the breakfast was all it should be, and this would be our first choice were we to return to La Rochelle.

We have a decent 4 nights stay at this hotel which unfortunately stained by the front desk. We ask the front desk to book us a taxi to train station which not cost less than 7€. But a private car came, late and charge us 25€ when we were dropped off at the La Rochelle train station.
