We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel. We had a stunning view over the port, delicious (and convenient) breakfasts enjoying our sea view, and lovely friendly conversations with the owners, who incidentally were incredibly supportive and helpful when our travels were unexpectedly disrupted. Highly recommended.

Very good hotel in an excellent location. The view from the room window was superb, looking out across the marina. Double glazed inner and outer window meant the was no noise from the street below. The staff were very friendly and always offered to held with bags etc. There is a great variety of bars and restaurants only a few metres from the hotel door and the marina is just across the road. Most of the boat trips depart from about 300 metres away. The bus stop to the airport is just outside the hotel.

Ideally placed for any activities in La Rochelle. Good arrangements for parking facilities. Very friendly staff, reception staff speak fluent English. Very accommodating indeed.

Port side rooms are impossible to beat for location and view. Beds very comfortable and adequate for 4 adults. Good shower. Kept windows open for breeze and atmosphere but it is very noisy outside with revellers on the streets until early hours then rubbish and delivery trucks doing the rounds from around 04:30 am

What a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, our view over the harbour was amazing. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and fresh. But most importantly the service was faultless, everyone is very friendly and helpful, even running back after hours to help with a small issue we had with the air-conditioning. A truly amazing experience, thankyou so much for making the trip to La Rochelle so memorable.

Wonderful location on the port. Clean, pleasant room. Very good breakfast served in your room. Only problem was the stairs to get in, a little steep. But we'd come back with pleasure.

Small clean room, with good location. But what they don't tell you is that it is impossible (if you don't know the exact trick) to get to the hotel by car. We spent two hours walking back and forth to the hotel because we could not find a way on google map to get the car there (long term road repairs under way in the city). Also, you have to carry your luggage up three different sets of stairs. Make sure you travel light if you choose this place or, even better, find another hotel in the city. The city is lovely BTW!

We dropped into La Rochelle for a night on travels and came across this wonderful property right in the centre of town on the waterfront. Can really recommend it highly for accommodation and service from owners and staff. Would have been willing to pay more for such a central location and lovely room overlooking the harbour. Spend a bit extra and take the rooms overlooking the harbour they are worth it and are airy and light with windows that open onto the water and when you want to sleep there is a double window system that blocks out the noise. Value for money in a a lovely town.

Hotel La Marine is a lovely, small hotel facing the Old Port in La Rochelle. There's a lush and beautiful interior courtyard garden that can be viewed from the rooms that don't look out on the waterfront. The staff are all extremely nice and some speak a little English. Since it's in the heart of Old La Rochelle, there are many options for dining and recreation available within walking distance. The only caveats are that there is no elevator and parking is available in a public lot several blocks from the hotel, but the location more than makes up for it.

Good hotel, great location. Clean & tidy at a reasonable price. (Vincent) on reception was incredibly helpful and recommended an amazing local reastaurant (iseo). If you travel to La Rochelle double check where to park before you head off

Set opposite the harbour and port of La Rochelle nestled between many restaurants. It's a very basic hotel with small but reasonable rooms with a nautical theme.
