The most unique experience as a tourist in Crotoy. Served by an agitated Peter Calpadi look alike. The waitress was hostile. The food was served with no cutlery, and the toilets were in an abysmal state. I would recommend to avoid unless you are a fan of Fawlty Towers and would like a good chuckle.

I had the €14.90 menu. 5 good sized prawns to start with mayonnaise dip pot and bread. Moules marinières & frites which were really poor quality and so small they looked like they should still be growing the frites were fine. The desert was thrown onto the table a small tub of ice cream. The man who served me was a bit strange also asking personal questions and making personal remarks. I had a half bottle of Muscadet and a bottle of sparkling water and a coffee which came to just over €30 euros in total. I think they are working on volume and price here rather than quality.

We went to dine there for dinner with our group of 9 people, which included a wheelchair too. We were welcomed, accomadating well, and even though our French was rusty, the service was prompt and satisfactory. The fish platters, mussels, and other meals were delicious! Thank you for having us! A real nice place to dine outside during the summer months.

I stood outside the door for over ten minutes in a queue with others to order food for an outside table (we had bikes). Tried to order at the bar but asked to wait outside. After ten minutes I asked if I could order food and drinks, very abruptly told only inside seating now being served. There choice to lose money, perhaps explaining this in peeps. Or a sign would prevent many people needlessly queuing . We left and ate outside next door.

I spent six days in Le Crotoy and this was the worst bar I visited. Actually it is the worst experience I have had in France over the last 10 years visiting. There are plenty of other lovely places to eat and drink in the town. The service was poor, the person in charge was very rude and unhelpful. BE AWARE that they do not accept credit cards, or debit cards, only cash in hand, which was not made clear on the menu or when you I ordered.

Visited with my small children hoping for a coffee and some ice cream. Told the ice cream wasn't available and there was no coffee this close to lunch. Other tables adjacent had coffee. We left.
