My wife, my son and I visited in July. We barely speak a word of French. The female wait staff and the guy who ran the cash register were super friendly and happy to speak to us in English, even make some friendly smalltalk. Staff treated us in a very welcoming and friendly manner, and made an effort to help us understand what we were ordering. The food was excellent. Delicious food. Melted cheese with charcuterie .... fantastic. Maybe the best French meal I had in France in two weeks, and reasonably priced. Only one complaint: too many smokers in the outdoor area. Definitely not pleasant for non-smokers, but I guess you can't really blame the restaurant for that. This is France. Smoking like this in a dining area would be illegal in California.

Lots of burgers to choose from. The Rustique is gooey melted cheddar and a hash brown potato on top of about a 1/3lbs patty. Excellent. The fries are very good, halfway between a scallop potato and chip or crisp. They have steak and salmon tartare so make sure that's what you want! Fish menu is skimpy between salmon tartare and fried anchovies. Beer is served in a proper pint size goblet.

One of the best places we have eaten in our two week trip through France. I can definitely recommend this place. The owners are very friendly too.
