Jardins de l’Europe in Annecy is a serene and picturesque park nestled between the city’s historic old town and the shimmering waters of Lake Annecy. Designed in 1863 by Henri Porreaux, this romantic English-style garden offers a tranquil retreat with its lush lawns, towering trees, and panoramic views of the surrounding Alps . The park boasts a diverse collection of approximately 250 trees, including notable species such as ginkgo biloba, Virginia tulip trees, laricio pines, and giant sequoias . Its well-maintained pathways invite visitors to leisurely strolls, while benches scattered throughout provide perfect spots to relax and soak in the natural beauty.

Called in for dinner, staff very friendly and accommodating. Nice menu and good service. Both had the steak, one was excellent the other not so good - staff immediately reorder the meal and very apologetic.
