Surely worth a visit for the interesting collection of a variety of ancient (some are just old) objects from France and abroad including weapons, swords, keys, plates, glasses, bottles, scissors, dolls etc. The guide explains the history of the castle and use of many objects. There is a tower and small gardens to visit, too.

Very nice castle with pretty gardens. It makes sense to visit it after the Gorge du Fier - you get a discount on entry then. Be sure to keep admission tickets. Gardens are accessible only after purchasing admission to the castle.

I have to be honest, I am not a great fan of castles and don’t get what all the fuss is about. However this one was great - it was personal, it was quiet, it didn’t feel like a tourist death trap and it was actually kind of cool to explore and discover on your own. Pro tip: Come at 10AM when they are opening. You will be the only one.
