This is another favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Though the decor is not as impressive as the one on Pacific str. The margaritas were a bit watery and tasted more like soda with lime juice. I guess you have to pay double to get some real ones... Burritos were tasty and generous. Salsa and guac is good and freshly made. Service is fast and nice. Location is perfect right next to freeway I5...

We came during lunch, slightly busy but it smelled amazing upon entry. Service was amazing food was delicious!! Servings were more then adequate and piping hot!! Pricing was typical not too bad. I am one to read reviews before going to a place and to some of the negative experience or servings complains they must be used to sliver spoon and being fed because they did above and way beyond my expectations❤️

This was our first time here and the food was very good and very hot! The waiter and waitresses are very kind! I highly recommend this place for some good Mexican food that hits the spot just right!

Love this place ordered the Felipe's platter and I had more than enough food, it also came with some hot tortillas I couldn't quite fit in the picture. The staff was all super friendly and helpful and the place was very clean and inviting.

This place was clean so it gets a star. The server was not around much, I had to beg for water and salsa. We ordered the tacos al carbon. Instead of steak we got a used worn out car tire that i am still trying to chew thru days later. The time we spent dodging the fat, trying to get m to the steak.. and the shell was fried in too much oil that my fork could not cut thru it.. The rice and beans weren't appealing enough to try.. We'd never come back.

One of our favorite Mexican restaurants in Lacey. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend their carne asada meal.

Good mexican food restaurant Service here was not quite up to par because the server took a long time to deliver the food and did not anticipate what we needed before asking for salsa, check, etc, Ordered the Super Nachos with Chicken which were good but not exceptional. Server was not too friendly.

Super friendly staff. It is always a special treat for us - the whole family loves their food. We try to go there for at least one meal when our kids come down for a visit. They have the typical wide range of favorites one expects at a Mexican restaurant. The food is consistently delicious with ample serving sizes. Come with an appetite and be prepared to still take some home. This trip I had the chicken enchiladas and my wife had one of their salads. Both were delicious...as were the left-overs we had for lunch the next day. Will definitely keep going back. I should say that there is plenty of parking. The entrance is on the back side of the building and it can appear that the restaurant is closed...when, in fact, it is actually open. The first time we went there we almost drove away as it looked closed. Very glad we decided to park and go in.

Mexican food is our go-to style for food and we quickly evaluate the basics: 1) chips and salsa, 2) house margaritas, and 3) the entrees. This place failed to meet any of our basic starters. Other than friendly service, this seemed to be simply store-bought chips and El Paso salsa from a jar. For their house marg, I’d be embarrassed to put my name on this and actually sell these to people. It was a brutal marg that reminded us of a cleaning supply we couldn’t quite put our finger on. Lastly, our entree, a burrito supreme with chicken, was a solid 4/10. I’m sure the owners are nice folks, but this will be our only visit.

So, first off I want to say the food was good. The portions are pretty big, and the price is reasonable. The staff was friendly and attended to us at all times. I would say that overall the restaurant is nice and mostly authentic with decent food. 4/5 because it lacks the vibe and the food is good, not great if that makes sense. I'd come back for a nice lunch.

I enjoyed the food it had great flavor, and the menu choices are abundant. The staff all were very nice, and service was great from the time we entered. I look forward to trying other menu items in the future!

Mayan, as the name rings the familiarity to its heritage, this restaurant serves one of finest dining experience for Mexican foods. I dined in Sunday night. Although, reservation may not be necessary due to high turn rate of table, expect to see some lines when you at later evening. The infamous chips and salsa experience was on par! Salsa was on the ‘spicy’ side of things. Chips were fresh as it can be! Main dishes were both served in hot plate. Foods stayed somewhat warm even towards the end of the dining. I especially enjoyed the Mariscada. The sauces were good, shrimps was on point with how cooked it was to be served soft, and mushrooms were on point with its sizing, too. Tortillas were also served while it was hot and warm. I chose the corn based. It was heavenly match when wrapping some of Mariscada. For the price range of $15-$20 per person, and proximity from interstate exit, this place checks out on many points. I give 4 stars instead of 5, as the tables are somewhat old, and maintenance of floors seems quite dated(greasy everywhere and gunks here and there).

Amazing food selection, and great service. The ambience is very good. The murals on the wall are really lifelike. The spicy salsa is to die for. The restrooms are clean. The music is authentic. The food is authentic and piping hot when it comes out, the wait staff on you every few minutes if you need anything additional. All in all, it is a great place to go out with family and friends.

well I love the food here they have the best food drinks and at a fair price. I've eaten in the dinning room and the bar let me tell you big big difference from the dinning and bar the dinning room is best you can here your company's conversation in the bar it echoes so bad it's crazy everyone is yelling to talk over all the other voices my ears hurt. but the food is the same. I'm not sure how they could silence some of the noise, but it's something I would definitely look into.

We were hesitant to try after being let down by the other Mexican restaurants in Lacey. But man, this place is awesome! Service is extremely fast. The chips and salsa kept coming without even having to ask for more. Alcoholic drinks were nice and strong. More importantly, our dinners were delicious! Tasted fresh and was full of flavor. This is our favorite spot in the Lacey/Olympia area.

Have to try the albóndiga soup on a cold day. It was phenomenal. The taquito things are great as well.

More than we expected from a Mexican restaurant up here in the PNW! Service was good, however took a while to get the check! We will return sometime when we are in Lacey.

Our go to! You cannot get a better meal for the price. Food was delivered on time and still hot. Even the chips were still warm. Usually have left overs per meal. These meals are pounders!

Really reliable B+ Mexican food! It’s almost Tex Mex… but not quite. I’ve been a couple times in person and ordered takeout a couple times too. Overall, good has always been enjoyable and it’s incredibly fairly priced. If you’re going to enjoy, highly recommend some frozen margaritas on a hot day! Of the food we’ve had, best have included the pollo a la crema and the seafood chimi. More details - portions are pretty good, staff is friendly both in person and for takeout, and the takeout is really well put together - no flimsy styrofoam! And they’re fast… even when they’re busy. So I this is an easy recommendation for a quick pick up or pitstop for easy going “Mexican” fare.
