One of the Lagos State owned stadium. Current ongoing upgrading and it has a large sitting capacity. It is located at the tail end of Marina and can be accessed through Obalended too. The parking space is not big enough as it is located in the busy CBD of Lagos. There are toilets available for spectators. I did not pay to gain entrance on the day i was here so i don't know what the charges per match is.

Awesome πŸ‘ place for all large gatherings. The stadium 🏟️ capacity is large enough to accommodate any Christian Worship, Political Events, High Profile Marriage, and More. Awesome time with God at the outpouring 2023

Still under renovation to international standard. The grass is very good for matches and the sitting areas are well arranged.

Neat and well arranged stationed row of seats. A little bit greenery here and there which adds ascetics to the overall clean and quite place.

A beautiful stadium but as at my last visit in December 2022, it was still under renovation. I would say it's 90% done.

Shell Hall, Muson Centre. Onikan is a beautiful place, fully air-conditioned with other fine facilities suitable for events like birthdays, seminars, wedding receptions, etc. It has suitable but limited arrangements for parking cars and security personnel guarding the centre.

The turf is good but synthetic. Pavilion well designed to ensure good view of the pitch.

The transformation is so amazing. Especially for people that experienced the old Onikan Stadium. The only downside to this is the lack of adequate parking, so if you can, please use the car park under the bridge.

One of the best places to go out and enjoy some exercises as well as family good time. It is presently under renovation but with the outlook seems almost completed. A good place to visit anytime.

Onikan Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Lagos. It is currently used mostly for football matches and it’s the home stadium of various Lagos football teams. The stadium has a capacity of 5,000 people and it is the oldest in Nigeria. Located on the southeastern corner of Lagos Island near Tafewa Balewa Square, the original stadium was built in 1930; then between 1963 and 1973, it became known as the Lagos City Stadium. The current Onikan Stadium was then renovated & reopened for football and cultural activities in the 1980s.
