Over all the food was good. It's a good place to have original Peshawari/Afghani food. The ambiance was satisfactory. They have small cabins with floor seating, giving it a good feel. We ordered Rosh, Kabuli Pulao and Kabab-e-Daraz. Talking about the taste, Kabuli pulao was near to authentic. Rosh tates awesome with well cooked meat and yakhni. Kabab-e-Daraz was a massive sized kabab which was split in two flavours, and one side was too spicy for me. The overall presentation was very nice. I will recommend ppl searching for Afghani/Peshawari food to must visit. P.s no credit card accepted, cash only! lol

Tried it after many recommendations and it was much worthy to visit. Dumpukht is one of the best I ever ate. Their Qandhaari naan is delicious and up to the mark. I would recommend it to every shinwari/rosh lover to visit it and enjoy the taste. You'll never regret about cost

Namak is a above average restaurant. Food was good and well made. Hotel ambiance was not very good. They seriously need to upgrade thier sitting space. Their food is amazing and thats the reason behind my 5 star rating. Ambiance and service can be improved. Add-ons like Salad, cold drinks are sometimes not available which is disappointing.

If you are looking for some rich cultural taste then this is the right place however they have only one branch (I wish they had more). The staff and managers are cooperative. You can enjoy beef/mutton/lamb here. The spice is moderate same goes for the salt. They don't have deserts I have to say this with regret they only serve gulab jamuns. Perfect place for meat lovers. The culturally rich sitting place and salt lamps are amazing. Their big nans are so amazing.

Went there 1st time and order Grill Fish. Although it's not full 1kg (they already informed us) but taste wise it was excellent. No heart burn after eating. Went to washroom to wash hands and the toilets were dirty, toilet flush not operational hence surprise was previously left in toilet and therefore smelly. Ordered Mutton Karahi (main course) and Afghani beef boti (starter). Time estimate given:30-35 mins Afghan boti arrived just after 45 minutes. 4 skewers with 4 pieces of “boti” on each skewer. Tasteless and tiny. Would be very surprised if the entire contents of the 4 skewers were 100 grams. Suggestion: use only one skewer if you must but at least provide something worth eating. Mutton Karahi arrived another 15 minutes later. First impression: Didn’t we just eat this at Yasir broast the other night? Did they just order it from Yasir broast and serve us? It was very confusing. The size, taste, everything was the same except for a couple of tiny pieces of “dumba fats”. Suggestion: Send back the chef hired from Yasir broast next door. If this restaurant is being projected as a pakhtoon style eatery then serve the food accordingly, for clues- try Khan baba in choburji. You’re charging about the same so why shouldn’t your quality and quantity match too? Server was courteous and attentive. Picked up full plate of chappal kabab last weekend for 3 persons since it's enough for normal people however when we opened the box while eating at home and shocked to see that kababs are reduced in size and not in shape too, hope that the responsible person will look into this and make sure this won't happen again...
