Decided to stop in to Rooted Lakeland for a snack and OMG so good and light. Had a pineapple guava refresher, iced coffee, acai bowl, and Belgian waffle, and some protein mini donuts. So delicious. Small business, great people. Check them out.

Rooted is exactly the business Lakeland needed!! Well, at least I think so, haah. It’s about time another nutrition shop came to South Lakeland- one that’s super high quality and will succeed greatly because the owners know what they are doing. That’s Rooted! If you aren’t familiar, Rooted is a nutrition shop. What this means is they sell wonderfully delicious protein shakes and fruity teas that are made with Herbalife supplement products. Nutrition shops are one of my favorite places ever. There are a few in Lakeland, but most are on the North side, in Bartow, and what few were in South Lakeland mainly moved or closed down. So Rooted truly came in clutch!! The shakes sold here are incredible. They taste like milkshakes with about half the calories and 3x the nutritional value! It seems impossible, but trust me that it’s not. The teas are probably my favorite- they are super zingy and there are tons of flavor combos. My first time I got a Watermelon Orange Pineapple tea and I wish I could’ve gotten 3 of them. Along with these, Rooted goes above and beyond by offering protein waffles, mini protein donuts, and even protein açaí bowls! They are all about the health, but making it fun and actually tasty! I had a waffle and you wouldn’t even know the difference between theirs and one from IHop, and yet the ingredients are certainly on opposite ends of the health scale. The shop itself is a dream. Whoever created the interior design seriously nailed it. From recycled frames to a succulent wall and graffiti with industrial light fixtures, this is a place you WANT to sit and hang out in. And the two women working were also the sweetest ever. They have a sister business in Miami and wanted to bring the magic to Lakeland. I am SO glad they did!! One heads up to be aware of is that this is not a cheap stop. Most nutrition places are not cheap, because the supplements used are also not. But the way I look at it, if you’re willing to spend $6-7 on a high calorie high sugar drink from Starbucks, then isn’t it worth it to get a healthier drink that tastes just as good? Pick your poison (or antidote, really). Rooted will be a place I am not rooted to, and rooting for!!

I love it here! The family who owns it is so warm, welcoming, and attentive. I had a passion fruit refresher and a waffle and I ate it all. Sooo goood, definitely would recommend checking it out.

My absolute favorite place. The protein shakes are so insanely good. Actually everything I have tried there has been good. Not to mention the owners are amazing people that make the place an amazing atmosphere to be in. 1000000/10 recommend.

Absolutely love this place! It’s my favorite acai bowl to date! The waffles don’t disappoint, and the refreshers are amazing. Love the vibe inside, very cozy and perfect for studying. The owners are amazing, so sweet and loving.

Such a cute little place. I have had my fair share of açaí bowls and this one was my favorite! Every bite was followed by an omg this is sooo good! We will absolutely be back.

Love this place! My new choice for protein on the go! I wish the menu though included nutritional facts such as sugar and calories per item.

Service was great, food was amazing and love the ladies restroom walls. 😉 I ordered the “birthday cake” protein waffle with fruity pebbles instead of sprinkles, pb&j donut, fruity pebbles donut, strawberry cheesecake shake and a mocha frappe - EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Thank you.

Great new place with shakes, acai bowls, and much more. Neat ambiance and friendly owners. We had the fried banana shake and the acai bowl. Both were delicious. We will definitely be back! Check it out!!

What a great place! The staff is friendly and kind! And I have never tried anything I haven't liked! Everything taste good! My favorite is the Mi Amor!!

A protein shake from Rooted keeps me full until late afternoon! I love having this small business around the corner to support my sweet tooth, it allows me not to feel as guilty with the high amount of protein. Between the friendly staff and menu, I will keep coming back!

Tried Rooted today for the first time and it was AMAZING! The shop is warm and inviting. I very much enjoyed visiting with the owner. And can't say enough about the Caramel Protein coffee and the DONUTS!!! If you haven't stopped in yet...you NEED to! Right next door to Anthony's Health Hut.

Really nice place to sit and study. The tea tasted great and wasn't full of sugar, like most other places, so it felt good too. I will definitely be going back regularly. The mini donuts are certainly worth a visit too

Discovered this place on IG, had to come and didn’t disappoint! Tried the birthday cake shake and a Nutella mini donut that was also tasty. Definitely will come again!

We really enjoyed our experience at Rooted! The bubble everything waffle was out of this world! So light and airy! My husband enjoyed his non bubble everything waffle that was more of a traditional style. Our girls loved the donuts and chocolate and vanilla shakes. The owner was so personal! The atmosphere was really inviting too! We will definitely be back!

My daughter and I stopped in because we heard such good things! It was all amazing! We ordered an açaí bowl, a hot protein coffee and a refresher and everything was AMAZING!! I cannot recommend this place enough. The owners are so so friendly and made us feel like family. The interior has homemade touches using reclaimed items from right here in Lakeland. So talented! Wonderful fusion of Cafe and smoothie bar. Mostly vegan and dairy free(I think the only exception is whey protein in the coffee smoothies). They also have tea and acai bowls. Everything also seems to be protein centric, which I absolutely love. I had the Twix Protein smoothie, which includes a shot of expresso. It normally has 23 grams of protein, but i got an extra scoop, making it 30 grams. I can honestly say it was one of the best smoothies I've ever had. The place is a family operation. I met the husband, wife, and daughter while there. Everyone was super nice and friendly. The atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. It's not a large place, but was very cozy, with a lot of charm.

My family absolutely loves this place! What isn’t good on the menu. From the Island Fusion to the White Chocolate to the Açaí Bowls to the Mini Donuts. This establishment treats you like family. If you haven’t stopped by then you’re missing out!
