I'm giving it 4* which is a very good rating but not the top. The hotel is clean, relatively quiet, and the staff is friendly and very helpful. They really helped us juggle our arrival and departure dates to meet our needs. Housekeeping is available by request (no problem) but you can pick up coffee and cups at the front desk (also additional soap, etc. as needed). Very convenient location. Ample parking. WiFi is free, solid and sufficient to stream TV shows if not available on their cable system. Refrigerator is good but no freezer section (for freezing cold packs). Things needed to make it 5*: room safe for laptop and valuables; more wall soundproofing, cleaner carpet in the room (spots); have courtesy coffee available in the lobby for arrival and departure (as Hampton Inn does); maybe have a free breakfast option (there is a paid restaurant on site so that may be a barrier). Overall still a very good, long (8 days) stay.

I LOVE THIS HOTEL!! YOUR TEAM GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND!! What that tells me about management is your doing it right!! Very amazing experience, one upset employee lashing out at the others and when I tell you this team held their composure I mean it, something you can only gain from years of customer service and it showed.. I would of punched the jerk in his chops! Y'all handled it like champs!!! I should mention the food here is awesome to! Definitely coming back!!

Rooms were nice and clean. Front desk and restaurant staff are not friendly. We had a huge wedding party stay for three nights at this hotel. We spent a thousands between the rooms bar and restaurant and a catered lunch. There were two gentleman who helped with our catered lunch and they were wonderful. Literally everyone else was very rude. The restaurant staffed acted like we were inconveniencing them to order food. The front desk staff was less than pleasant and argued with us about a $40 credit even after everything we spent. Will not be staying here ever again.

Hotel has a shuttle service that provides free transportation to nearby restaurants, parks and other destinations. Rooms are comfortable. I had a NW side window room with nice views of the Rockies.

I have always considered myself a Choice Hotel Preferred member for life. However, after traveling to numerous states and experiencing terrible customer service and filthy rooms, I decided to try a different hotel chain. Very impressed with the level of customer service at this Holiday Inn. From the beginning to the end of our visit the staff was courteous and professional. In addition, I appreciate the front desk staff receiving and signing for numerous packages when I was away from my room. The Positives: *Friendly customer service *Clean rooms * Spacious parking lot *Located within miles of shopping and restaurants *The janitorial staff was excellent at keeping the lobby and surrounding areas clean. The Negatives: *Complimentary breakfast has been removed. Instead the hotel wants you to purchase your meals from the restaurant (adjacent to the hotel). This would not be an issue except for the fact the food at the restaurant was terrible. We purchased food on two separate occasions and we could not stomach anything. *We did not use the unsanitary liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner located in the room. Even if a lock is on those bottles, I know what people are capable of doing to those containers. Overall, a positive experience with this hotel. October 9th- Response to the manager: Thank you for responding to my review. However, I've stayed at numerous Holiday Inn locations in Ohio, Michigan, and Tennessee. Each of these locations offered complimentary breakfast- no matter what package. Spending $800.00+ for my hotel room seems to be more than basic. Maybe it just depends on ownership. In reference to the hotel restaurant: the staff should be well aware of what we ordered because we sent it back twice.

The beds and pillows were so comfortable! The customer service great, they delivered extra comforters to our room upon request. The room was quiet and I was able to get wonderful sleep, even on New Year’s Eve. Adequate on site parking available.

I have stayed here many times over the years as it is a good location to visiting family. There is a gym, business lounge, outdoor pool and a restaurant. This time wasn't the greatest of stays, maybe just due to a combination of things. Vent in bathroom didn't work so bathroom was very steamy after showers. Fridge had no settings I could change so it was barely cool. No extra bedding provided for the pull-out couch (had to go to front desk and ask for some) and then found a huge dog bone underneath. We've usually been provided breakfast vouchers in the past but didn't receive any this visit. We were booked for 4 nights stay but left after 2. Again, hoping that this was just a fluke stay as before it has been very nice. Ask for a south facing room unless highway traffic noise doesn't bother you.

Initial impressions: great front desk staff during regular hours. Check-in was quick and painless. Room was clean but had a musty odor. No room safes. Maid service available but only on request. The location is near very busy roads, so the traffic noise is constant. The down comforter was warm and cozy. The bed was comfortable. No complementary coffee in the lobby in the morning, no complementary breakfast, no exhaust in the bathroom. The channel guide on the TV is for viewing only, so expect to scroll through some 60 channels to select anything. Having stayed in many similar type hotels over the years, I would rate this the Holiday Inn Lakewood as the lower end of average (for the noise and lack of coffee or breakfast). Lots of room for improvement.

We booked and paid the hotel through our CC rewards program which made the the check in process quick and efficient. The guest service rep was friendly and professional. We stayed in a king size room. The room was spacious and clean, although the walls are thin, so request a room away from the elevators. We also included daily breakfast during our stay which actually turned out quite good. It was a real breakfast that one can order from the regular menu. Overall we enjoyed our experience at the Holiday Inn.

I had a great stay at this location. The staff was wonderful during every interaction. The hotel was clean and well kept. The rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable with a nice big bathroom. Breakfast was in the attached Restraurant / Bar and they had a pretty decent option of food. The gym was great with 5 cardio machines and dumbells. I didn't experience the pool but it looks clean and appealing. I will definitely return when I'm in Denver.

We hold a monthly meeting here: Colorado REIA. Several times a year we also hold a weekend event. The hotel staff is polite, helpful, and accommodating. The food is also very good at the restaurant. I love their breakfast and Shrimp Pasta. So YUM. The rooms are always clean, the outdoor pool is always hot, and the fireplace is perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for a vacation or an event. You will not be disappointed. It's close to everything! We love it there.

Beautiful property. So close to all of the downtown attractions. Breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend the hotel!

Nice accommodations. Some rooms updated. The King suite my wife and I stayed in was up to date, beautiful, and inviting. Separate seating area and office from bed area made the room flow well. Gorgeous bathroom updates with modern walk-in shower and long white solid surface floating vanity polished off the experience.

This was a great place to stay not far from downtown. The Staff was amazing and super accommodating. My sister in-law requires a service animal and they were more than happy to oblige, even though they have a no pet policy. Rooms were nice and comfortable and plenty of room for the 3 adults and 1 child we traveled with. The parking area was well lit with regular security patrols and made you feel better about leaving items in the car when there was no other choice. The only downside was the smoking happening on the non-smoking floor. The amazing staff did a great job covering up the smoke smell when they could, but it was still very strong where our room was located and left me wondering if there was anything they could do to enforce the no smoking policy on non-smoking floors. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be choosing this hotel again. So that's a big recommendation from me.

Pool unavailable and not updated on website. Shower didn’t drain well; toilet stopped flushing. No microwave in room. No free breakfast. I understand they want you to eat at their restaurant but it’s not an option for travelers with food allergies. I wouldn’t stay here unless you had to. The employees were nice and efficient but that was the only positive from the experience.
