This is more of a traditional Thai Buddhist temple. Situated in the forest a few kilometres outside Lampang City, it offers a nice walk up to a hilltop pagoda with nice views of the city. Be warned, it is about 600 steps to get to the top, so it can be hard going if your fitness level is not that good. There are many forest trails from the temple and you can hike for hours in the surrounding hills if you enjoy this sort of thing. The local mountain bike club also uses these trails, so there is always a chance you will see some of them in the forest.
