If you are in Gran Canaria you must go here!!! The food is amazing. First off yes it is small but...that is a nice thing. The service is awesome... as you finish they pick up and then deliver the next course. As for the food... everything I ordeed was GREAT! If I had availability I would have eaten there again. The beef was cooked to perfection and the goat cheese salad was so flavorful. Any of the desserts will be a great way to end the night.

Finger licking good!! We tried many high rated and tasty places in gran Canaria. But this, this is truly the best by far. Had the risotto, o boy what a joy, it was a sensation for the taste buds. Friend who had the recommend meat dish also glared in his eyes from the amazing taste. Add to that the friendly waiter doing everything in his power to give you the best experience possibly and you have something that's a 5+ star rating. Exceptional!

Highly recommended! If you are looking for a special experience within best food in an authentic atmosphere is this your place to be. It’s being a long time, since we have been “hosted” in this sympathetic and professional way. We came back straight the evening after and will come back as soon as we are staying in LPA again. To the owners: thank you for having us, our stay in your restaurant is one of our best experience on Gran Canaria. We see us definitely again! ✌🏼

What can I say except: fantastic!!! We are pretty picky when it comes to food, but this small restaurant, just having 4 tables and can fit like 12 people, is a great experience. The owner (chef) and his brother are full of passion to their food in any way. Fresh ingredients, great consulting/ explanation of what is what topped with good wines - just stunning. If you visit Grand Canaria, do not miss this restaurant!!!

We went for dinner last night, and we were lucky enough to find a table right away. They only have 5 tables, and they don't take reservations. But I get why. The place is always full, because the service, the food and the atmosphere are great. We had, without a doubt, the best meat in Las Palmas! I don't normally eat steak or beef in general, but my boyfriend does so I wanted him to try the place, as we had had many recommendations about this place, and to my surprise I finished my dish! The meat was soooo tender, it literally melt in my mouth. And we tried also their apple dessert, and were very pleased. We will definitely be coming back for more. On top of that, the service of the 2 brothers who run the place for over 10 years now, was very friendly, and spot on. All in all, a great experience. Highly recommended.

This is definitely a hidden gem, the El Almacen is a small restaurant, if you can get in you will not be disappointed, all the food is first class as is the wine and the staff, homely atmosphere, I could go on about the food, best thing to do is go and try, well worth the money, definitely going back

A must not miss opportunity if in the area. Seating is limited so we took a short walk and returned to a waiting table. The service is second to none. When I get a find like this I always save it to my maps and recommend to people if they travel in those areas and this will definitely be one of them. We had spinach crepes and the Argentinian dish both recommended and were not disappointed. Chocolate moose and apple pie after. We also tried a spinach pastry, goats cheese basket and coffee / wine all of which we couldn't fault. We eat out a lot and generally find of late that a lot of restaurants have lost quality but not this one. Generally speaking we like to try different foods and would rarely return to a place where the food wasn't exceptional. This is one of those places I would have no reservation about returning to again. Very impressed, 10/10.

It's a very small place, it would fit max 15people inside I would say I felt a bit pressured to order more food than what I normally would be capable of eating lol I didn't like the aubergines so chewy and they were swimming in tomato sauce.. I did loved the starters.. didn't try dessert I agree saying a lil overpriced for what it is

Friendly people and good food. There was only 4 tables and did not take reservation so it was recommended to arrive a bit earlier. The iberico secret was the most delicious dish, highly recommended.

Very friendly staff, amazing food (Vacio at medium rare was simply stunning and their chimichurri equally so). They definitely know how to work with meat! Loved the caring attitude and the evening was generally very pleasant. Their signature dessert is lovely!

What an amazing little bar! Super friendly staff, great service, yummy meat empanadas, quality meat cuts. We ordered, Vacío con chimichurri cooked rare, and it was mouthwatering. The Polvito Uruguayo dessert, is one of the best I’ve tried on the island. We are definitely returning to try the rest of the menu. Well recommended.

Gerardo and his deffo makes a difference! He will explain everything in small details and advise the best options available! We tried empanadas, vacio argentinian steak and ofc Polvito Uruguayo! Come there by 7:15 if You wanna get a table, there are only 5!

The best steak I’ve had in a while. The owner of the place is so lovely, accommodating, welcoming & sweet. We had the nicest cosy evening with the glass of wine, steak that melts in your mouth and the sauce that tasted like heaven. The place is very cosy, traditional & tiny. We had empanadas as a snack before our table was free & it was sooo nice! The best flavours & full of meat. You definitely have to try this place if you are in Gran Canaria and please be nice to Gerardo cause he is the nicest human being! They stayed open for an extra hour just so we can finish our meals

We got this place recommended by a friend and we are so glad we came here for our last meal on the island. It’s a small family business restaurant, the food was amazing, but even better was the attention to the customer. Gerardo was extremely kind, providing a 10/10 customer service (not easy to find here!!) This place has already a very good reputation and it’s all very well deserved. I wish everyone to go and experience the good food and the kindness. All the best to Gerard, his business and his family x😊

Don’t go there… so I do not need to wait too long!!! I thought I had steak before, until I tried this restaurant. Absolutely PERFECTO… yum yum yum. The two brothers are running the whole show, they take orders, wait the tables, and cook themselves. If you need to wait 45 mins and not in a hurry, go get a drink close by and wait for it, you won’t regret! Yum yum. Vegetarian can also find your love, by the way.

Very authentic, small place for awesome Argentinian food! Every course was delicious, well prepared and presented. Service was perfect! Our waiter was well prepared and had the perfect recommendations for us. We will definitely come again 👍🏼

Best meal we have had in Gran Canaria. They don’t take reservations but we were lucky to get a table on Saturday evening around 8 with no wait. Black pudding pastry to start was so good. Really nice cut of Vacio steak, cooked perfectly. The three pepper sauce was devine. Chips and peppers were the perfect compliment. Friendly service. We can’t wait to go back!

Great food and great host. The steak was perfect and super delicious. The crepe with beef was also delicious. Parking can be difficult around the area.

The food is fantastic, but the service is really on point and friendly. The Argentinian steak is incredible (don't be confused by the colour). It's amazing!

  • 5/5 Jason C. 2 years ago on Google
Very good. Enthusiastic and friendly owner brothers (chef and waiting staff). Starter ‘basket’ pastries were delicious and tasted freshly made, recommended main of Vacio was simple and delicious. Desert was fine but at that stage we were only being gluttonous anyway.

What can I say… I read the reviews and thought this place might be worth a visit. I noted the hint to arrive early to avoid disappointment, but was surprised to see a closed Shuter when we arrived 30 minutes before opening. Had we got it wrong? Were they out of business , another victim of the pandemic? We went for a drink at fat Franks round the corner ( great warm welcome ) and came back in 15 minutes. The place was open and the first table taken. Be warned, they only have 4 tables! The greeting we received was the warmest you could hope for. We already had an idea what we wanted, and this matched the recommendation of the house. The food was absolutely superb. These guys know how to cook steak and it was exactly how I like it. My wife Rachel, had hers slight less pink , but still spot on. It looked like a British medium rare. The Malbec’s also good and we’ll priced. What was slightly more expensive, but well worth it, was the 23 year old rum. Not cheap, as you would expect, but great with an espresso! We’ll be back in a heartbeat! Thank you

Overall a good place to eat meat, I liked pastries and Argentinian beef however french fries weren't crispy- they were soaking wet from oil and meat juices. Maybe putting them aside on a separate plate would be some kind of solution? Great and personal service 👌

  • 5/5 Marvin O. 2 years ago on Google
Just wow. The starters were amazing and the steak was also amazing. The steak with the mushroom sauce was very good. Best mushroom sauce i had in years. Also for the price you get quite a lot. 10/10 would recommend every tourist to eat here.
