We got tired of staying on the strip This was a lot of fun It's a lot less walking than the strip and just as much fun maybe two nights on Fremont Street then the rest of your trip on the strip

I stayed here for my first trip to Las Vegas. This hotel is right off Fremont Street. Everything you need is within walking distance. Our room was small but nice. The staff was very welcoming. Free valet parking. A lot of food options in the hotel and around. Had a great time. The only thing I would say is if you don't want to hear the excitement of Fremont st from your room you might wanna stay somewhere else. For me, it wasn't a problem and I had a child under 1 with me.

Everyone says it's the best place to gamble! I personally am not a big fan of the bright , noisy colors and the crazy crowds but if that's what you're looking for - this place nails it. 💯 Lots to see everywhere you look downtown Very comfortable?/nice to run into other Hawaii locals here

This is an old school casino! Way too much smoke for me! Super contested...feels like im in NJ. The bathrooms were clean and Tony romas had the $11.99 steak and lobster special 🤣

The rooms are decent sized (bathrooms are small), beds are very comfortable, nice view, safe and dorm sized refrigerators in the rooms. The rooms have been remodeled since our last stay there. Staff is very friendly. Also with their remodeling, they've added a food hall on the first floor by the casino . Good food choices with a variety.

Best place in Vegas to play Blackjack! We loved this place from the service to the quality. Conveniently located right in the mix of Freemont street which to me is the best part of Vegas as a whole. Much better value and experience for your money. Highly recommend staying here while in the Vegas area!

This hotel is fine. Our room was very clean, and the bathroom was nice. It was also very, very small. We had a king bed, and there was only a few inches of space to squeeze past the (completely unusable) desk chair under the television. At nearly $200/night, it didn't feel like much of a good deal. We did not have any negative experience here, but probably won't stay here again. It was fine. Fine!

Stayed here for 4 weekdays and I have little to complain about. The hotel is old, but has been renovated a couple of times and is currently undergoing more renovations. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. There is a lot of noise from Fremont Street, but that is to be expected. The staff are friendly and helpful. The casino is pretty big and convenient food options are open during the day.

Played there in November. Had a variety of table games and slots. Had a great time and the dealers were top notch. Had a few rowdy guests, but security was all over them quickly. Had such a good time that I made reservations to stay there when I go back in March.

We spent a week at the Golden Nugget but we found ourselves spending most of time gambling at the Fremont. It was cleaner, more relaxed and comfortable to gamble. Security was top notch never felt unsafe carrying money around. Plus the machines actually would win. It seemed like every time we would leave we had to cash out a thousand dollar ticket. The bathrooms were cleaner than any casino I visited. Wish I stayed there instead of the Nugget. I don’t know what the hotel rooms are like but after spending a week across the street and never once saw maid service I think the Fremont would have been a better choice.

This place was AWESOME! Nice staff, lots of free drinks (while gambling of course), modern looking decor in rooms, great restaurants including Tony Romas where we had prime rib. Would certainly consider staying their again.

Didn't stay here, but I always stop and gamble here on my trips. Slots are typically better here, craps is much better here. We stopped at the new food court, the renovation is fantastic. Had a Breakfast Burrito from the Cafe inside the food court, it was great.

We stayed at the Fremont Hotel & Casino for 9days & 8 nights. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the warmest smile. Ms. LaTiana, front desk clerk was absolutely amazing. She catered to our every need. She deserves a raise!! The hotel itself definitely had some great perks. The entire Fremont Experience was more than what we expected! We were extremely happy with our decision to celebrate our last days of 2022 at Fremont Hotel and Casino! Everything that you need is within walking distance… it’s like a hidden treasure..most of the hotel being/is newly renovated rooms and restaurants..the 2022/23 NYE celebration shows( lineup!!) was spectacular.. everybody that stayed at the was given an NYE wrist bands as part of admission! It was included in our hotel purchase..in which we did not know that at the time of booking on Hotwire! Awesome Winter vacation!!! We would recommend it to friends and family!

This used to be a great place to get hookers..I haven't stayed for a while but its in the heart of everything on Fremont Street. They usually come out about noon till about 2am. Cops on bikes down there don't bother anybody. Take your pick. All colors, shapes and sizes. ❤❤😛

Going to Freemont again when I'm in Vegas it was great. The atmosphere was perfect. They had so many great things around. I loved how you got to walk around. There are different vendors and overall food everywhere no complaints when walking around; I will make sure next time I'm there, I get to spend more time exploring this part of Las Vegas. A great time I had.

The Fremont Casino is pretty cool. The machines have pretty good returns, and the table minimums are fairly low, at least on weeknights, so we were able to play there from 2PM until 4:30PM when the Tony Roma's prime rib special started pretty much without losing any money. The Tony Roma's offers $8.99 prime rib starting at 4:30 PM. It was a good meal at a great price, especially compared to the vastly inflated prices on the Vegas Strip. Rated 4 stars instead of 5 because the casino has people smoking in it, which to me is a very unpleasant experience, but that's the case in every casino in vegas.

The rooms are cute and updated but very small...it is less noisy than some of the other hotels on Fremont. Tons of places to go here and always lots of Action. A bit Dirty and with a bit more Homeless population in the vicinity... but still always fun and excitement with street performers and old school Vegas Casinos mixed with updated new features like "Slotzilla" and the "Fremont Experience."

Nice place but outside the girls scam people to take pictures with them. When u ask how much they tell you just for tips. Ok now you take the picks and they tell you there minimum tip is 80.00 each and haras you and the people your with to give up the money. And there everywhere outside. Not sure if there part of the hotel but, a huge scam.

I just visited here on Thursday February 10th 2022 before doing the zip lining down Fremont street. This casino was one of the better ones on Fremont street there was less smoke and I was actually able to sit at slot machine and enjoy myself without having to walkout because of the smoke. Definitely will most likely come back again next time I visit

A nicely renovated hotel with cute rooms. The walls are a bit thin, to the point of hearing the rustling of bedsheets in the room next door, but the price is decent and the location is pretty fantastic if you're interested in checking out Fremont Street. Parking is by valet and is free, but don't be a jerk - tip the valets.

  • 4/5 Mr M. 3 months ago on Google • 58 reviews New
Great service hotel the parking is valet only which is already included in your reservation. The valet guys are super friendly and very helpful. Lobby right at the entrance quick and easy check in. Room is a king size 7th floor great size for one or two. Lots of entertainment on the boulevard and plenty of options choices to eat. Weather in January is cloudy ⛅️scattered showers but pretty clear mix and plenty of cold in the low 50s wear a jacket if you’re not a cold weather person.

  • 3/5 Nick F. 2 months ago on Google • 21 reviews New
Mediocre but you get what you pay for. Valet was very helpful as was reception in loving our rooms closer to our friends. But maintenance took a full day to fix a toilet that was clogged and housekeeping is NOT included. You have to call and request for new towels and bedding etc. which is ridiculous. Oh and they’ll hit you with a surprise 90 buck resort fee when you leave even if you didn’t use any of them

We usually gamble between all the casinos on Fremont Street. However our experience at the Fremont Hotel with the cocktail waitress MaryLou was amazing. Warn and friendly. Cared about our experience. After 16 years worker for the Fremont she is definitely the gem of your establishment. We will return every night this week while she is working to enjoy her pleasant service. We come to Vegas 6 times a year she is a first for cocktail waitresses that I would give a 5 star rating ro for service. Take care of her. She is wonderful.

Room had a mildew smell, carpet was filthy. Bathroom was the worse not dusted dispensers in the shower we're old. Do not think your going to relax and watch TV, basic TV not even basic cable for the price they charge . We had a family reunion and met her. Let me just say, we will not be returning.

Visited it but didn't stay, it's right in the middle of all the action. Good gaming, and next trip we are thinking of staying here instead of the strip. The only reason I stay on the strip is for comped rooms.

Didn't stay in a room, although they did offer to get me one when I won 5,000 on the wheel of fortune. Already had one at the Venetian. Maybe they'll give me one next time. Fun casino and like the atmosphere there better then the strip! Let me know would love to review your rooms!

Overall I give them a 3. To be fair they are under construction. Valet service was great, and check in was easy. The rooms are supposed to be smoke free but I smelled cigarette smoke. Restroom was small. It's conveniently located to everything if Fremont st is your thing.

Nice, well maintained casino. Free alcohol is served if you are playing.

  • 5/5 Laureen B. 7 months ago on Google
This casino really surprised me. I thought it would be run down like some other older downtown casinos and have near antique machines. Instead, it was clean and not crazy noisy like many other casinos. The staff were available, attentive, & friendly. They had a pretty good selection of video poker machines ( although still only the older varieties) (compared to most other casinos) and an excellent selection of slots. I would play here again! Many of the newer machines were here that I like. (Luxury Liner, Rich Little Pugs, etc. The casino atmosphere was not crowded I can't comment on the hotel as I only visited for the afternoon.

  • 4/5 Alana 7 months ago on Google
Very nice stay! Slots were playable. Didn't win much but better than strip slots. Staff brought drinks more than any other casinos I visited. Had old and new slots for a bonus! Most places on had high volatility slots and nothing older. I would definitely recommend and I will stay there again!

A jewel in downtown which is getting a fresh new look. The Fremont has always been a favourite hotel of mine, I was worried the revamp would make it lose its charm but it has not, its just a shinier version. The new food court provides a great choice of eateries.

Went for a wedding the weekend before christmas. The staff was friendly and the cafeteria food was yummy. Do wish the ramen place opened earlier. Wish the room had more space, but it was clean and comfortable. Had no issues with my reservation, and they were able to have the 2 rooms I reserved next to each other.

My Grandson and his wife treated me with dinner there for my birthday. The food was good and the service was great. I can't comment on the rooms because we didn't stay there. We are locals.

  • 4/5 Scott M. 5 months ago on Google
For being an older hotel, the rooms are really clean and updated, although small. While the reception desk agents aren't the most friendly or accommodating, slipping them a $20 definitely helps. I have an aversion to smoke due to my asthma, but I don't find the lobby casino too smoky to walk through. The convenience to all the Fremont Street activities is a definite bonus of this hotel.

  • 5/5 Vincent N. 6 months ago on Google
Pleasantly surprised! First of all the location is amazing for the downtown Fremont area. It will be noisy at night and yes, this is an older hotel which is part of the vintage uniqueness, so remember two things – rooms were much smaller when this property were built and soundproofing for hotels was not a thing. Everything else is perfect. Check-in is nice and easy and also done on the app If you are into that. early check-in was granted. All of the staff is extremely friendly. parking is easy. You have direct access from the casino floor to your hotel room in a matter of seconds. The rooms were recently re-done with all the modern conveniences in both the guest room and the shower. This is the best air-conditioning I’ve ever had in a hotel, excellent large screen, TVs, and very comfortable beds. the entire hotel was very clean and once again, the staff is extremely friendly. The restaurant choices are wonderful. You cannot beat the prices on the dinner specials. I highly recommend this place and will return.

  • 1/5 Lina W. 1 year ago on Google
Overall our stay was great, going into it and checking in the staff (two particular ladies) were very rude to me. There was a language barrier and a miscommunication and ruined my 21st birthday saying I wasn’t 21 so therefore i wasn’t even allowed in the hotel. Quick to judge. Our room was decent, we had a very large chair that was just plopped in the middle and I would highly Suggest to not eat any of the food they have offered here. You would be better off going down on Fremont and finding food to eat for the same price.

Love the Fremont Hotel! Rooms have recently been updated. Every bit of my experience was wonderful. From the check in with Kevin, to the BJ dealer Manuel, drink host Cookie and the pit Mr. Bailey. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Can't wait to go back! Thank you Boyd Gaming for always giving me a incredible vacation.

This is a cool casino with a lot of old Vegas charms. Although the inside reflects its former glory days, it is very well kept and very clean. It has both older gaming machines as well as new ones. The live card games and crabs and roulets are in the center of the casino and we're full the day I was there. The staff has been very friendly and the place has a high energy level to it

This review is purely about the 99 cent shrimp cocktail at the snack bar. I have to say, I thought they were gone forever! Briefly...worth every bit of a buck!!! I thought it was going to be in a shot glass or something. It was much bigger than I anticipated for a dollar. It's worth going to get if for no other reason than the novelty. The shrimp are humorously small. Actually intriguing on how they even cleaned these things.

  • 5/5 Matt R. 2 years ago on Google
Best cocktail service, and service in general! Fast, friendly, and great. Nice rooms, and the loosest slots in Vegas! Outstanding. Also, still home of the 99 cent shrimp cocktail! Don't let the price fool you, it is DELICIOUS!

We come in here every time we visit Vagas. Always a good price on some kind of two beers for a low price. Low price food that tast great. I had the chilli dog wife had the burger. Delicious 😋. Had fun playing slots at the bar. Bartenders were busy but still gave us friendly attention.

Stayed here on short notice, wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. The valet service is amazing it’s so nice that we don’t have to make a huge trek to and from our room when we go out. Service is excellent and our room was newly remodeled. My only complaint is the Chinese food is terrible but what can you expect! That’s balanced out by Dunkin’ Donuts which never had a long line. Will stay here again!

We came to visit for a birthday and honeymoon celebration. While gambling in your hotel casino my husband's bag was stolen. He had his blind assit cane in it and his extreme prescription sun glasses also. As a disabled person this is crippling. His independence has been stripped away. He can't navigate even the hotels, let alone the city, with out assistance now. The theft occurred at about 6pm on Saturday 1-15-2022. We spoke to the security in the hotel and they said there is nothing we can do. So what are all these cameras for, if not to protect your customers. They must be just to keep the money and machines safe. My husband has been dehumanized by this situation. To add insult to injury, we went back to security to ask if anything had been turned in to lost and found. They didn't even recognize us from 10 minutes prior when we reported the theft. Our entire experience has been soured due to the lack of human compassion and indifference toward our situation.

The Steak and Lobster is a good deal i believe it was 9.99 for dinner, but you will need A1 Sauce, hot sauce or something to add a little flavor to steak. Vegetables seemed like it was from a frozen bag of mixed vegetables not cooked thoroughly. But hey its Vegas

Great stay at the Fremont. Got to visit my Miracle Grandson. That's what his Neuro surgeon calls him. In October , he was given a 1 in 10 chance to be with us 72 hours later. Two weeks ago he shook his surgeon's hand and thanked him for saving his life. And he walked out of the rehab hospital . While he has lost the use of his left arm, he said he can live with that, as it reminds him he had an accident and survived . Thanks again for the great hospitality and friendly staff who always remember me.

Last time we were here was about 3 or 4 years ago. The service was better then. We just sat at the bar and played 21. They don't let you split, and they didn't pay off as much as last time. We don't play to win, just to have fun, but we lost our 40 bucks pretty fast and the 2nd bar tender only half comped us and they closed early. It was kind of disappointing. We had a lot of fun last time we were there.

Maybe next time we will get the full experience and stay

We were pleasantly surprised at the room. It was a bit small but clean. When we are in Vegas we don't spend a ton of time in the room anyway. The one downfall would be that our room was located in the side with the Fremont Experience. The music runs until 2 AM. If you are a light sleeper that could be an issue. I would stay here again.

  • 5/5 Vera R. 1 year ago on Google
The staff gave us eye contact, they smiled everytime i had contact with them and were very kind. Our room was very clean!! The hotel has security person. There was a refrigerator in the room. The resort had several restaurants to choose from downstairs including a dunkin donuts. Their gift shop was nice and there is a casino if you don't want to go outside. I will recommend and I will return. Again, the place was very clean.

Rooms were nice. Bathroom SMALL. Have coffeemaker but 2 cup limit on supplies according to notice. Front desk staff are nice, but seem to have a lot of computer issues whether in person or on line. Perhaps an upgrade should be in the immediate future. New food court is nice but doesn't have anything for breakfast other than "grab & go" selection and close @ 10:00 p.m. snack bar closes at 11:00 pm so you are out of luck if you want something between 11:00 pm & 6 am. I prefer a nice dining experience. Only restaurant is Tony Romas that has a limited menu. Nice, but would like an additional choice rather than having to leave the hotel. Gaming staff were nice but pit bosses were non-interactive with players and didn't help keeping area "tidy". Would like more players card perks but that might be a thing of the past, perhaps waiving resort fees, comp rooms.

Been here for many years. This is the first time since the completion of the renovations. I am not loving the smaller rooms and tiny bathrooms. This mattress is terrible. Usually get a plush topped mattress but this mattress is cheap and doesn't feel good at all.(edit) Pat was nice enough to change my room. The mattress was better but still not the standard they had last year. Casino is still nice and great addition of food selections

The only thing I don't like of the Fremont hotel is that Stake N Shakes are no good. They are long line they don't give your order right, I like best when the Cafe where able to do burgers. The Fremont should never got them because the Cafe they got is good. Today my wife is going to talk to the staff about Stake N Shake.

The Fremont is our favorite place to stay and play. On our last visit we noticed that the Paradise restaurant/buffet was closed. We ate there everyday during our stay, and especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Sure hope it opens again as our stay is not the same without it.

Fremont Street is an awesome experience just for the free street shows that happen right in front of you. I am not one for the hotel, and the slots are too tight for all the traffic that goes through. I couldn't even get a bottle of water.

WORST STAY EVER!!!! So came for a funeral on a busy weekend. Being alone I wanted to stay where things were happening downtown. WORST STAY EVER! Walls are so thin and music doesn't stop until after 3am. Asked for room change no, asked for later check out because can't sleep nope. When the air comes on your room fills with smoke. NEVER AGAIN, WORST HOTEL EVER!!!
