These people are all so awesome. Very caring and gentle with my new fur baby. Affordable and not "up selling" you on everything. They even have a cat that hangs out a bit with you in the lobby.

I can't say enough about Dr. McAllister and his staff. I have been having alot of problems with my Daphne concerning her cough. As many times that I have called and asked to get her in the same day, they always accommodated me. Marie and Charlene are always there to help and are very nice and professional. Heather has been a big help to me as well when I had questions or needed a prescription filled. Dr. McCallister is always a pleasure to speak with and never ever rushes me off the phone with the 100 questions I am asking. I know that she will have the best of care and the name "Kindness" in their name is a true statement!!! Thank you for all that do, you are certainly appreciated!!! Kathy Guido 2/2/2022.....Monday was a day that I was dreading for a very long time....it was time to let my Daphne go. I called in the morning and I was able to get Daphne into the vet within a half hour even though they told me they were booked since it was Monday morning and Dr.McCallister had a surgery. We got there and we went right into a room. Everything was taken care of in the room, signing papers, choosing an urn and payment so when we were done we could leave. Dr. Brian came in and spoke to us. We had a few different girls come in and out of the room and they took Daphne back to prep her for her trip to the Rainbow Bridge. She was back with me in my arms and we were given all the time we needed to say goodbye. Dr. Brian came in and explained everything he was doing. Daphne passed peacefully in my arms. It was a very precious moment for me. We were again able to take as much time with Daphne as we wanted. Once again, everyone at Animal Kindness is just amazing!! They put things aside for a bit to help us let Daphne go. I am forever grateful to Dr. Brian for giving Daphne another full year of life to be with me. I am glad I have 3 more dogs because I would be sad if I wouldn't be able to see everyone again. Thank you for loving Daphne and making her feel special. Kathy Guido

Just moved to Vegas in September of 18 and we looked around a bit for a vet. This place has an incredibly friendly staff and genuinely love animals. We take our three cats there and have no complaints! On top of that, they've got a pair of great office cats you can pet🥳

This is the best Vet I've ever used. It's a Husband & Wife team who run it. The rest of the staff are wonderful & everyone is always helpful. I've been taking my cat here for over 3 year's & couldn't be happier. I included these pictures because my cat was groomed with great care at Animal Kindness & I thought they would be good to add to this review.

Beware the extra fees. We called ahead to get a quote. We had been there before. They gave us a quote of $150 to put our pet to sleep. When we got there they added on an exam fee of $65 for an animal who was going to be put to sleep. Beware the extra fees here. It happened to me twice. I would never go here again!!!

My baby boy is 13 this year and needed help with a cough. Found out his heart is enlarged dangerously. So he needs meds. Thanks to the Animal Foundation and the staff of Animal Kingdom Veterinary for all the help and support we needed to get through this scary process. With his meds he'll be with us a few days or years.

Professional and kind. I took in my desert tortoise for a check up and he received a gentle, thorough exam. I was able to schedule within the same week. Once arriving, we were seen within 10 minutes. Time was taken to answer all my questions and pricing was fair. The veterinarian was very knowledgeable on reptiles.

They got me in right away and were so kind. I had to go here for some last minute shots one of my dogs needed and I ended up switching both my dogs from my old vet to them. They’re so kind and gentle with both my dogs. One is very anxious and fear aggressive but they took things slow and made her feel so comfortable. My other is arthritic and they gave me lots of options for longterm care as well as what can be done if it worsens. Recommended to friend with dog who suddenly stopped walking and even he agreed they were so kind and understanding. Highly recommend!

Made an appointment online, as this was our first time here. Filled out all of the paperwork, quick and easy. The Vet that helped us was Dr. Vivian Yi, was very welcoming and seemed very knowledgeable. She was able to get our dog Yankee Beaster his X-rays he needed, and gave us lots of information for his care. We made a plan for him, and will follow up at this location in a few weeks. Everyone that helped us was very friendly and helpful as well. Definitely happy with our first experience here.

Everyone makes mistakes that's part of being human... But it's very rare to find people that are humble enough to admit and correct not to mention compensate an error. Much respect to Jen for her complete honesty and amazing customer service. The compassion that was given to my dog (Prince) was phenomenal!!!

They made us feel very comfortable and confident they could make our Dopey better. They did just what they said and removed the huge tumor from her side. Surgery went well. She has come home and the first day she mostly slept but by day 2 she is feeling and acting 1000 times better. Will update after recheck on Friday. Highly recommend them.

After getting gouged by 3, or 4 different veterinarians in town, we were losing hope that there were still veterinarians out there who put caring for your animal/s at the top of the priority list over making money. We were pleasantly surprised when Animal Kindness treated our dogs issues that day, without suggesting unnecessary lab work, or otherwise padding the bill. We actually really appreciated it when they skipped the sales routine that we’ve experienced at every other veterinarian. They gained a loyal client when they did that.

I have been going to Animal Kindness for over 20 years. They always are nice, caring, and concerned. Even if I think it is an emergency, they care about my dogs and see us even if it is not an emergency. Will never go to another vet.

This clinic has very caring, compassionate staff. From when you first walk in, you experience it. The vet who took care of my cat was so thoughtful, she called me several times over the course of the day to update me on his treatment. I really appreciate them!!

Everyone who interacted with Mister and I were amazing and professional. I'm pleased how they made Mister their priority while they were working with him. I did enjoy everyone would actually get down to Mister's level did what they needed, plus he enjoyed all the attention. Thank you.

This is the very best animal hospital. I called them as a new customer, my regular doctor of 15 years.told me it would take 7 weeks to do a surgery on my dog's foot. Animal kindness got us in in 3 day's and surgery 4 days later saving my dog from a toe amputation. I wish I could give them 10 stars. They were very friendly and professional. I will never go anywhere else again. Thank you so much. I would recommend them everyone.

Friendly staff but wish they would communicate a bit more when it comes to the wait time. Even with an appointment, you will be waiting at least 30 minutes after you check in to see anyone. I understand they have a lot of pets to look over but please learn to communicate to your clients about how long the wait time will be. I don’t mind waiting but I can see how others might get mad over that. They do have a policy form in the Vet’s office explaining why the wait time is long but unfortunately it’s not posted in the main lobby (where you actually sign in & have to sit & wait for any Vet to see you) Im not sure if they’re short staffed but hopefully the ability to communicate during check in gets better. 🙁

The staff is very friendly and kind to my boys every time we visit the facility. I've never felt rushed and like that they spend as much time as needed answering questions. Best Vet I've found on the east side of Vegas. Highly recommend!

the staff r very kind they do live up to there name animal kindness the vet lady is the one that helped me with my baby tonka he unfortunately has a enlarged heart but she took very good care of him put him on meds an he is doing so well like there's nothing wrong with him so a big huge Thank you to all of them there at the clinic

We have a big move coming up and have to get an extensive test done on our dog. Dr. McAllister was phenomenal. It wasn’t the best news and he knew that. He delivered an explanation and solutions wonderfully. You could tell he genuinely understood the situation and had amazing bedside manner. I was grateful and impressed when I asked him about the CBD for travel with pets and he honestly helped me know what will help my dog during a 15 hour flight to stay calm and happy! I chose this place because of the reviews and it definitely held up! You can tell this is a family owned practice by the thoughts and efforts they have put into how to best accommodate our community and our fur babies that will allow for best health not just the money.

UPDATE: Dr. McAllister is pretty amazing....increased rating from 1 to 3. Let's see how it goes from here.. This place was recommended by a dear friend after my dog was diagnosed with cushings. Since our initial visit, which was great, I've had nothing but problem after problem and my poor dog continues to suffer. Final straw resulting in this review... Results I should have in a day are "on the doctors desk so you should be hearing from him some time tomorrow".....3 days later! Very disappointed!

The people here really care about you and your pet! They are honest and make you aware of all of your options when it comes to your pet and your pets needs. They take the time to talk to you and in desperate times they will work with you. They are very kind and they treat your pet as if they were their own pet.I’m so glad I have found this place to take my fur babies and knowing that my pets will receive the best care possible.

The staff at Animal Kindness was very kind, compassionate & respectful to my cat & I. Im very happy with my experience at Animal Kindness Veterinary Hospital so far. I work in the pet care industry and am also an over protective cat guardian, so my standards could be considered to be higher than the average persons. On Friday 10/27 an appointment was made to bring my emotional support cat in on 10/30 (the following Monday morning). Upon my arrival for my cats appointment, There were 2 other people in the lobby ahead of me. I checked in at the front desk and was in the exam room within 5 minutes. We didn’t have to wait long at all for the vet tech to come into the exam room. She was a very nice young woman with a friendly & warm demeanor. While taking my cats vitals, she was very gentle handling him. After the vet tech was finished, we didn’t have to wait long for the veterinarian to see us either. He seemed very knowledgable, professional and did not rush through my cats exam, taking the time to explain everything to me. For the cost estimate, they give you a high and and a low end. If you are on a budget, they seem to do their best to try & do what they can to give you options of ways to work within it if possible. Afterwards I had to see the receptionist to pay my deposit. She was very thorough with explaining how I follow up for the next appointment. As I was waiting in the lobby for my ride share to pick us up, I was greeted by a very handsome, friendly & well mannered cat named Mash, who is 1 of the 3 resident cats there. Overall my experience was extremely positive and I will be referring my customers and friends who ask me for my veterinarian recommendations to Animal Kindness with confidence. I have to finish this review with giving a HUGE THANK YOU to all of the staff at AKVH for making me feel comfortable with entrusting you to help my beloved cat Joeseppi while he is ill. My cats are such an important part of our family. So having such a positive experience during a very sensitive time for us means a whole lot to me!!

So far so good - - took my large dog in on 9/25/2023 to get neutered. He seems to be doing good - - he whined a little on the first day; but by the next day he is starting to eat a little more and drink more water. He is on the mend! :-)

My heart is broken!! I took my dog to this place because I had to. This was the only place that they would allow me to go. I took him twice. I asked them to see him a third time and they said they couldn't because my money has run out. never once not once told me he had cancer of the skin. My dog is dead today because of cancer and they didn't catch it. Thank you Animal Kindness.

Best exotic vet and really live up to their name

These people genuinely care about you and your pet! I love the fact that they are up front, honest and make you aware of all of your options when it comes to your pet and your pets needs. They are very kind and treat your pet as if they were their pet. I could go on about this place, their integrity, their candor, honesty and compassion. If I could give 10 stars I would! I have found a new place to take my fur babies and take comfort in knowing that my pets will receive the best care possible.

This is a very good veterinary clinic. I've tried six other vet clinics in Las Vegas, and this one is the best. Animal Kindness has the nicest vets and the most organized front desk. The staff is well-trained and the vets are very helpful. I've been to other places where it feels like pure chaos, but I will keep coming back to Animal Kindness even though it's a long drive from my home, because of the calm and organized environment. I have medically complex senior dogs and they keep their records straight, answer messages, and get them in for appointments when needed.

This place is filthy. I mean, dried up poop just outside the door since a few days ago. Dried pee down the hallway. The corners of every room had dirt and hair piled up... nasty! Even the keyboards were full of dust. I know because I waited for a long time. The vet was condescending in her tone, chuckling at something I looked up online. She also couldn't explain why grain free food was bad for dogs other than there's more "science" for the other grain filled food brands... The staff was sweet. That's it. I don't recommend this place and don't understand the rating. Will find a new vet.

This was the friendliest place I have been to since I moved here 15 yrs ago. Nice and clean no odors, cat and dogs divided on each side of building. A little pricey but they give you all kinds of ways to help manage the cost. I felt very good about having to leave my pet in their care. ♥️

They were great all around. Drew my dog into loving them with treats, and got him all up to date with vaccines. And a big big one, they were all very kind and had smiles the whole time! Would recommend to anyone!!

The staff is friendly. We encountered a few problems but Jen called up and resolved them quickly which shows that they go above and beyond to make sure customers have a good experience and if not they do what they can to fix it. Wonderful kind people. If you are looking for a place that will listen and understand just how important your pet is to you this the place. You will not be rushed or treated like a source of income. This smaller neighborhood vet has been very reasonably priced and good at serving our cat and dogs alike. Great recommendations and tiered pricing based on how you want to proceed. They're been very kind and sympathetic regarding all of our pet issues.

Dr Jay was my Dani girls Dr he retired, now we have veterinarian Dr Brian, he's a great guy to work with. Will work with you if you ask him he will fill you in on who what where and when, Nicest staffing they have there. Love the cat that live there is their home You're going into. kinda remember that when you're in there LOL. He will come in investigate and say meow/Hi them leave lmao 😅😂😜 🤜🏻🤛🏻🤙🏼💚💯

DONT DO IT! The vet told me to get an over the counter ear wash because my baby had some debris and that's probably why he was scratching. I had to ask that she actually get a scope and look. Well he's got a full blown infection, he's miserable and so am I after taking him to a real vet hundreds of dollars later. I originally took him for a dental and at recheck time this happened...they barely looked into his mouth and staff wasn't clear on my payment part so I was blindsided when I picked him up and was told the owner was responsible for setting their rules....too bad 40 bucks means more than their reputation.Too bad you only listen to your office manager and refuse to talk to the client. Coward

I am absolutely grateful for this place! I’ve taken my dog to get all her shots here and also for her spaying. Dr W and the rest of the team are always so welcoming and attentive to my dog needs. Overall, the best Veterinary Hospital I’ve ever been to!

I brought in my Tommy who was adopted from Homeward Bound a year and a half ago after my mobile vet showed me how bad his back teeth were. He was in a lot of pain. They got me in swiftly and sadly, he had to have several teeth removed, but I am happy to say he is doing great and was feeling better the next day! Great work Dr Brian! Thank you so much!

Animal Kindness is the best vet's office that I have used in Vegas. I started going here because they treat rats and other exotic pets, and my experience was so seamless, quick, and full of compassion that I began taking my dogs here as well. Additionally, the mural in the waiting room is very cute.
